Polish people have a weird attitude torwards tourists

Let me start by saying that i had high excpectations of Poland because i have a lot of Polish friends. The reason for traveling to Poland was mostly because i was curious about the country and it was nice weather when i was traveling there and in my country it rained. And i wanted to enjoy the summer.

I came home from a cold carnival because in my experiance the Polish people were very unwelcomming like they did not appreciate tourists and they want only Polish people in Poland. Some of them where even very mean and aggresive torwards me with little to no provecation.

I called my Polish friends back home and asked them whatsupp with this attitude. And they told me yea thats just the way it is. People are angry and dont like foreigners. I asked them why was that and they said it was because of their history.

I find it weird the bad part of history happend when the polish people today werent alive so i dont get the attitude i was behaving normally like i would be throughout my travels. I even been to eastern europe a lot (Czech, Latvia,Lituania,Bulgaria, Hungary and the former Yugoslavic states) and i never got treated this bad as in Poland, i even speak some words/frases in Polish.

I came here to question why it was like that? Did i just met some bad people? I dont think so because i teaveled half the country and it was like this everywhere.

Bad experiance will never come back probably.

It boils down to a very simple truth. Here it is - you haven't been to Poland and you made it all up,
Happy trolling!

they said it was because of their history.

Yes, history is crucial here - in 2015 rightists came to power. They can be very aggressive - you`d better avoid them. .

With respect Pawian, the left are extremely aggressive, preaching tolerance while practicing extreme censorship of any views or debate that challange their narrative.

What the world needs is grown adults that can debate openly and agree to disagree sometimes rather than endless protests and cancel culture **** which actually fuels hatred.

You must be talking about the left somewhere else. Coz the things you have just mentioned are practised by rightists here.

hich actually fuels hatred.

Yes, those rightists have fueled hatred to divide people and put them against each other. Divide et empera.

Look at the left in America and UK for examples of leftist hate and division. Any sensible denaye results in cancellation

Maybe, but I live in Poland where rightists are most notorious for spreading hatred.

Maybe, but I l

sit at home because of Covid 19 or walking to and fro on your two acres .... all you know is what they tell you on a telly and if they fed you a crap that is what you spew here..

So stop being an ass and tell me when you are going to do the right thing and sell you acres to pay off some Jews eh?

It sure didn't take long to derail this thread.
Poles not liking foreigners is commendable. They never bring anything good - only misery, pollution, crowds, and higher prices. Even some Western go-to places have had it.

It did. Few make money and many pay higher prices because the locals have to compete with the richer spenders.

Taking two hour baths and not cleaning up after yourself is not 'behaving normally'....

I must say I value the Polish Złoty a bit more, then the US $ or the U.K £. Thanks to the hard working workers in Poland the Polish Złoty has value and agricultural produce which I enjoy, the buildings being built despite the wish of every of Poland´s neighbors wishes to tear them down throughout the ages. Czechs seem to have improved together with the Germans having trade and better relations, yet I still wonder if Czechs envy Poland from time to time or simply dismiss Poland´s achievements out of jealousy or opposite values.

Either way, a person. No matter who he/she is from, who posses items and values status above: Love, kindness, honor and freedom.

Won´t find any rest in Poland, that´s for sure. So anyone thinking he is the navel of the world will have a hard time living in Poland, thankfully to the betterment of humankind and Poland I must say.

I'm not Polish - and if you didn't enjoy your trip, then it is certainly wiser not to repeat it.

They also live under bridges and smell Christian from afar, occasionally trying to eat goats that pass their bridges. They got to be careful not to get knocked down tho, according to a fable I know.
