Allow me as well to extend to the entire forum my condolences on Dirk's untimely passing!
Differences of opinion and so forth ought never prevent heartfelt acknowledgement of anyone who departs this Earth, with whom we had even the remotest personal contact.

May his memory be for a blessing.

Poor old Adrian :( his parents must be devastated. Shame he didn't get more of a crack at life. Well, God bless him.

May the Angels lead you into paradise
May the martyrs greet you at your arrival and lead you into the holy city, Jerusalem.
May the choir of Angels receive you and like Lazarus, who once was a poor man, may you have eternal rest.

Yes they are,he liked a Ukrainian drink which when waiting for him I would buy at an Irish bar near me and he would buy my Carlsberg and wait for me so today I just bought a drink on his name and the guys at the bar will have a night when his parents will come to Poland.I was surprised how many people we knew recognized him and felt bad and a guy he promised to bring back real corn tortilla chips from the US

  • He loved this double Ukrainian drink

Hey, do you remember when Delphiadope tried to get Dirk fired from his job and it totally backfired?

Then when Dirk went to Poland and wanted to met up and have a beer with him, DD became so afraid he split to Pozan! Hahaha

Hey, do you remember when Delphiadope tried to get Dirk fired from his job and it totally backfired?

Yes,and thats why Adrian told me not to tell anyone where he is working. He was doing real good and knowing Poles mentality he didnt want any one approaching his work.

DD became so afraid

I took revenge by getting delphi fired and move out from Poznan all with his family to Wroclaw.Pay back is a bi.tch.

I took revenge

Recalling such unpleasant events from history, you are risking the closure of the thread. Do you really want it?

knowing Poles mentality

Yes, Poles` mentality in this context is to abstain from recalling unpleasantries.

If you respect Adrian and the memory about him, try to stick to this mentality too. At least in this thread. You can always use Random.

The following is an excerpt from my letter to Adrian's parents:

The memory of Adrian I will keep is based on how and what he wrote - honest and often against the majority. These traits of his made him my best forum buddy because I am like Adrian. The fact that we agreed on almost everything made reading his posts extra special and rewarding.

Even those who would disagree with Adrian respected him. After we were notified of his passing, a member created a thread where we could remember Adrian.

Remembering Adrian today and especially sparing a thought for his grieving parents. The words below are the lyrics of an Irish/Scottish song called The Parting Glass which is often sung at Irish funerals, and sometimes at the graveside by family and friends. Let's raise the parting glass today, to our old friend and sparring partner.

Of all the money that e'er I had
I spent it in good company
And all the harm I've ever done
Alas it was to none but me
And all I've done for want of wit
To mem'ry now I can't recall
So fill to me the parting glass
Good night and joy be to you all

So fill to me the parting glass
And drink a health whate'er befall,
And gently rise and softly call
Good night and joy be to you all

Of all the comrades that e'er I had
They're sorry for my going away
And all the sweethearts that e'er I had
They'd wish me one more day to stay
But since it falls unto my lot
That I should rise and you should not
I gently rise and softly call
Good night and joy be to you all

A man may drink and not be drunk
A man may fight and not be slain
A man may court a pretty girl
And perhaps be welcomed back again
But since it has so ought to be
By a time to rise and a time to fall
Come fill to me the parting glass
Good night and joy be with you all
Good night and joy be with you all
