so I can ask the grieving father for his home address

Youre misunderstanding me, Cargo. I dont want his address, I was talking about yours. This is a card from the funeral they give you when you sign the guest book. I grabbed and extra one for you.. Its a nice memento to remember Adrian. Post #53 is a photo of the actual card. Rich has one as well.

It's in especially poor taste for forum members to exchange insults on a thread created in memory of the recently deceased. That can be done in random.

As much as I respect your opinion, which you are entitled too. You really don't understand how we live in America "from your computer", and if you dont have anything else positive to say.. Please respect this thread and stop with the innuendo.

At least among us.

Amen. Were Americans and brothers!

on a thread created in memory of the recently deceased.

Exactly. Thanks for reminding it. Imagine people start quarreling in the funeral house or at the grave site, over the coffin or urn.

Atch is Irish - she has probably seen a few punch ups at funerals and wakes in her time :)

Just kidding Atch :) I've been watching too many movies !

I went to a funeral once and the deceased`s GF jumped into the grave as they started burying him..

It was a rather unpleasant scene,.

Have you ever noticed how Non-Christians view a funeral vs. how Christians view a funeral ?
johnny reb 48 | 7,152

My point was that Christians have "FAITH" which allows us peace of mind as we pray for the family of the deceased to cope with their loss while the Non-Christian are always in a big hoopla tizzy and banging on and on about worldly deeds of the deceased.

The first thing Non-Christians do is stick their head in a booze bottle and start sobbing thinking of themselves.
The first thing a Christian does is celebrate a well done journey thru the tests of life to inherit eternity.

Is there some secret PF real life social club I don't know about? I've been here for many many years too, just under a different nick.

No, though some people are in contact and know each other in real life, either due to here or because we live in Warsaw. I'd take post 78 with a pinch of salt though.

Hey JR remember Sig?

Yes, a very grounded and mature guy.
One of my favorites here like Adrian was.
Adrian and Sig are what you call "true worldly warriors" in what they believed in.
And were both physically able to back it up.

Adrian's father asked me to post this information. It's in Polish and not very clear as photos here usually are.
Adrian was buried in Poland next to his Grandfather on the 25th of August.

Adrian was buried

Novi, you mean he will be. Today is only the 21st so he'll be buried later this week. Poor old Adrian. Even though I didn't get on very well with him, aren't we all flawed in some way and it's very sad to go at such a young age. One really does feel for his parents.

Yes,he wanted to move to Poland and nothing to do with US and by the end of this year he wanted to open up a pizzeria in Wroclaw on my idea to sell pizza by the slice which is extremly new concept to sell pizza in Poland and very successful. We also looked at the ovens he wanted to buy.

His dad agreed to move too and they both even convinced his mom finally to move too.

Yes, to be laid to rest among your own people is very important to many of us. Reminds me of the First World War poem about the Fallen:

If I should die, think only this of me
That there's a corner of some foreign field
That is forever England

I'm glad for Adrian that he won't lie in a corner of a foreign field but in the embrace of his homeland.

In fact he just in march or April went to the US to pick up his renewed Polish passport as its easier to get from the embassy there.
