do you mean

Stop these stupidites which are turning into trolling. It is really inappropriate in this thread. Go to another thread to relieve your frustration.

See that's what I mean about your broken English..." relieve my frustration " ...you think that sounds smart but its utterly meaningless here.
I tell what is " inappropriate " and it's YOU babbling offensively about mongrels and Dirk being " like family". Get a fekkin grip.

Get a fekkin grip.

I have never lost it. :):):) I am as Polish as I can be. Can you say it about yourself????? :):):)

Dear posters, I am going to my Jap sumo wrestler mattress now. The final word for you is that I insist on sticking to Polish traditions in this thread - when we discuss the deceased who was our acquaintance, friend or relative, we abstain from negative comments. Dirk was the regular member of this forum and we should treat him like we would like to be treated by others - with respect, despite our views. Who are you to judge his/others views? Are you Jesus or Goddess?? No, you are fekking sinful mortals who will be buried underground one day (or above the ground in a columbarium) like Dirk.

Let her/him who is without sin cast the first stone

because... I will be freaking dead. I can already imagine Cargo_pants and johnny_reb writing crap about me lol

Btw, I'd rather people like Cargo_pants and johnny_reb didn't abuse people once they're alive and not only when they're dead... So, pawian, maybe be more concerned about how people are being treated here while they're still alive, than once they're already dead and nothing can hurt them anymore, you hypocrite... :(

when we discuss the deceased who was our acquaintance, friend or relative, we abstain from negative comments

Dirk wasn't my acquaintance, friend or relative.

Who are you to judge his/others views?

You do this yourself every day on this forum o_O

No i am not 'as Polish as can be' you tool I am English. As you might have gathered by now. Sorry you don't like being pulled up for your nastiness/hypocrisy. As Dirk.- your "intellectual " friend - might have said.....are you "butthurt"? Lol
OP pawian 224 | 24,514

I am English

Exactly. So why are you playing a mongrel who opposes Polish traditions in this thread?

You do this yourself

About the deceased???

Dirk wasn't my acquaintance, friend or relative.

Yes, he was. You ran debates with him, he wasn`t a stranger to you as you falsely claim.

About the deceased???

Yes, when you write about Hitler, Stalin, Nazis, etc. They're dead, remember?

we should treat him like we would like to be treated by others - with respect, despite our views.

As I already wrote - I care more about how I'm being treated when I'm alive, than once I'm dead.

Yes, he was. You ran debates with him, he wasn`t a stranger to you as you falsely claim.

He was a stranger to me. I barely exchanged any comments with him, I haven't met him in real life, I didn't know his name and surname, I didn't know what he looked like and I didn't even exchange any private messages with him.

Let her/him who is without sin cast the first stone

My relative survived Auschwitz. I wouldn't want to be an acquaintance with Dirk in real life, so why should I be an acquaintance with someone like that on an internet forum? I have the right to choose my acquaintances and friends and I have the right to respect those who, in my opinion, deserve my respect.

" Don't speak ill of the dead" is also a saying in the UK

One I disagree with.

He was a nasty piece of work.

The kind of person who would pretend to b a jobseeker in order to fish for people's employers' email addresses and pass on to malicious trolls. Do you know anyone else who would do that? Perhaps an unstable underachiever from a privileged background?

Let God judge him.

You are disparaging the deceased which is against the Polish tradition.

Tough sh1t,.

He didn't pass AIDS.

fish for people's employers'

Not that it worked, being so transparently a trick that the person gave her all the wrong details however I'd advise against trying such a stunt again.

The retaliation could be brutal and life-changing.

Let God judge him.

Now you are speaking like a Pole at last. Better late than never.

Hitler, Stalin

weren`t members of the forum with whom you developed a relation like with Adrian.

It's not true, there's a lack of ku.rw.a and chu..j.

You question Polish traditions?

Never understood that. If someone is a prick they are a prick.

The only situation I would agree with is if someone was making some new accusations.
OP pawian 224 | 24,514
5 Nov 2023 #167
Never understood that.

It is actually easy to understand - it is basic human decency to abstain from critical remarks about the deceased whom we knew in real life. One of reasons is the family - parents, siblings or kids of the deceased. Do you think it is pleasant for them to hear nasty comments about their gone relatives? Try to imagine yourself in their situation. Is it pleasant for a kid born and raised in a pathological family to be constantly reminded after his parents` demise that his/her father was a drunk and thief and mother a hooker?

It's not true,

Stop acting like Novi. He has taught you his pathological attitude, I see. :):):)

I know few and actually they are the ones that hate that custom. Why would they have to keep quiet about what their parents truly were and how they hurt them?
OP pawian 224 | 24,514

how they hurt them?

So, if not kids, think of siblings. Whoever in the family.

Novi doesn't fight for the purity of the Polish language, but I do.

OP pawian 224 | 24,514

you when assessing another person is whether this person attacked you or not

BS. Adrian attacked me personally and said things about my family. But I forgave him coz I am above such silly issues when sb`s death is involved.

Learn basic decency in life at last if your parents haven`t taught you that when they should.

Noone here is going to the grieving family

I don`t understand. What does it mean?
Lenka 5 | 3,498
5 Nov 2023 #173
Your explanation for suddenly changing your narrative about SB because they are dead was that it hurts the grieving family's feelings. We are not going to their families to say what we think about them.

And even then I was a witness of family talk when the dad was an ass. One child ignored it and didn't want it mention as you suggest and the other couldn't stand pretending the dad wasn't an as*.

explanation suddenly changing narrative SB

????
I have an impression you got a little lost. Now we are talking about common people whom we knew, and their families.

One child ignored it and didn't want it mention as you suggest .

And for the sake of this one child we should keep up this custom of silence over the grave coz you never know who you are dealing with.

this custom of silence over the grave

But I forgave him coz I am above such silly issues when sb`s death is involved.

Do you think it is pleasant for them to hear

You said it Paw......Thank You.

Now we are talking about common people whom we knew

But it started here. You applied it to forum.

Not to mention you weren't only silent but praised the dead one.

And for the sake of this one child

And what about the other child who has been hurt and doesn't want to suddenly pretend their oppressor was a decent person?
OP pawian 224 | 24,514
5 Nov 2023 #177
But it started here. You applied it to forum.

Started what? Applied what? Can you start using some intelligible English at last? Me no comprehende and I am not joking now.

what about the other child who has been hurt and doesn't want to

I choose the first one and for his her sake remain silent over the grave.

but praised the dead one

That also belongs to the tradition. It is clear you have lost the grip on Polish culture if you go against our customs. Traditions are traditions, wiser people than us invented them long ago.
OP pawian 224 | 24,514
5 Nov 2023 #178
Traditions are traditions

Traditions are sth that keep us together as nations. Without traditions, we cease to be a nation. It applies to any country.
People who go against national traditions are clueless mongrels.
Lenka 5 | 3,498
5 Nov 2023 #179
Started what? Applied what?

The discussion and you applying the tradition to a forum member

I choose the first one

And I choose the other and truth. Simple.

That also belongs to the tradition.

Not all traditions are worth upkeeping.

Could someone remove this whole discussion to random.

It long stopped being about Adrian

He was not my cup of tea at all but what I did see at his funeral was that he was very dear to his friends and family. Nobody is all good or all bad. Let's show some respect.
