Foreigner working for foreign company in Poland

Dzien Dobry,

I'm a British Citizen that has a Polish residency permit. I intend to work in Poland. My employer is based in Asia and doesn't have offices in Poland. I have a few questions:

What is the best way to do this in Poland?

Am I liable for national insurance?

Is it best to register my own company and work as self employed?

I'm also considering talking to an accountant, so any suggestions or recommendations would be really appreciated.

If you have a Polish residency, you should have access to the national health system, especially when you are also a tax payer. I'd suggest to register as a self-employed first as registering a company requires too much bureaucracy and costs. You can find an English-speaking accountant in any Polish city.
