Hi Guys,
I'm from US and considering to move to Poland. I'm working in IT( SAP).
Do you know the list of companies supporting foreign workers for the work permit ? because i heard few of them are willing to go through this hassle.

Also, do you know any companies hiring remotely as i still in US?

Thanks
Cheers

Jobs like this are usually filled by Indian agencies that do their own recruiting. Companies in Poland rarely hire foreigners directly on their own, even for something like SAP. The only chance you have that way is if you know someone working for the company who knows of a current job vacancy that exists and can act as an intermediary. Otherwise, your just shooting blanks.

Second, demand for non-EU IT workers has dropped a lot over the past few years in Poland. It would be a waste to spend time on a job search in a country which has so few jobs to offer, at wages that are much lower compared to the US or the richer countries in the EU.

I assume you are from India or other developing country, and having a hard time getting a visa in the US. Here's a tip: try to find a job in the public or non-profit sectors. Much easier to land a visa there then for private for-profit enterprises.

Last of all, you have a lot of work to do on your English before you can even think of passing yourself off as an American, so please don't even try. It turns people off.

No chance. There are multiple clues that he is not a native American, and not a native speaker of any variety of English, for that matter, and it's not due to neglect, but to inadequate command of a second language. No native English speaker could have made the mistakes he did. When native speakers make mistakes, they are of an entirely different sort.

Dom, are you following some other posters` propensity to play chekhists in the forum? :):)

No native English speaker could have made the mistakes he did.

You are right. On second thoughts and closer look, I can see them now.

Dominic,

This is MBV747, Let me point out few points:

- I had just checked quickly your answers to a bunch of threads and i could quickly realize the negativity you are spreading!
- All your assumptions are wrong : I'm not Indian or from a developing country except if you consider that Puerto Rico which is an US territories is a 3rd world place! Please keep in mind that its GPD is 1/3 of the whole Polska!

- If you have access to Wikipedia, you could check what are the US official languages!
- I'm not coming to PL because of my Visa but simply coming to join & live with '' Moj Kochania''
- i don't have time to learn English , i'm very comfortable with my Language level , i would prefer to invest this time in learning more codes and ABAP because at 24 years old my monthly salary is = to an annual salary of an English Teacher..... My life is very comfortable and i don't need to finish my month with Ogorkowa.

- Your behaviour remind me some C**** blockers that i have always faced in Teatro Cubano and Enkalawa...... Just Loosers !

I would use LinkedIn and get in touch with the big consulting companies - there is a high demand for SAP skills but only an organized business will go through the bother with your permit.
