K & S is no longer a viable business.

The Polish press article suggests that all accusations against K&S school mentioned in this thread are true.

So, guys,

provide evidence or you're just rival school afraid of competition

do you know what it means TO WALK TO CANOSSA ????

:):):):)

If not:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walk_to_Canossa

Today, "Canossa" refers to an act of penance or submission. To "go to Canossa" is an expression - used often in German: "nach Canossa gehen", in Danish, Norwegian and Swedish: "Canossavandring" or "Kanossagang", in French: "aller à Canossa", in Italian: "andare a Canossa", and in Slovenian: "pot v Canosso" - to describe doing penance, often with the connotation that it is unwilling or coerced.[/i]

K&S are a small school run by a couple. Can't mind what street but Jana pawla comes to mind. They are not too popular as in many students but seem to do alright. As a small school they may well be experiencing the financial bite. I had a job offer once from them but turned it down.

You are talking about another school located in Krakow: K&K.

Not rogue K&S.

In Kraków, K&S have/had two branches on ul. Karmelicka and one on ul. Wrocławska. They also had schools in Gdansk and Wrocław.

And I still think the thread is fishy. Not just because of guest posters pretending to be native speakers but also because of saying they hadn't been paid for months but for some reason were still working there. Plus similar posts, no doubt from the same individuals, on different fora none of which the right ones. It just doesn't add up.

A few months ago some teachers posted some messages informing us about some of their troubles with the K&S language School in Krakow and telling potential language teachers to be careful.

It seems that indeed this language school may have taken clients money and not paid their staff and is being under investigation according to the Krakow Post: krakowpost.com/article/4681

According to the journalist there are not so many rules to comply with if you want to operate a Language School .

Incredible that this school was still promoting its services ( Russian, English German, Spanish lessons etc) through Groupon coupons according to the Krakow Post .

The clients who paid for courses they ll never have will eventually be reimbursed but teachers who are owed about 5000 zl each will have to face a long and expensive legal battle if they ever want to get their pay checks .

I doubt they will because the K&S Krakowska school may have organised a fraudulent bankrupcy.

Very sorry for the teachers ,but as a principle no one should continue working and waiting for more than 1 month with unpaid salary.

so I was wrong- better safe than sorry! I would be pissed if somebody slammed my business on a forum- but as it turned out the claims were true.
