Starting a car business in Poland - exporting from the UK

Is there a call for UK cars in Poland. I was told Polish cars are often overpriced and tend to be involved in accidents! Just wondered if the numbers could stack up! And would Polish people be put off by the steering wheel being on the other side?

While the market for second hand car is better in UK( bigger pay plus smaller market) I don't think you could win with Germans being right there behind the border with cars adjusted to our traffic arrangements . Plus you are looking at Brexit and any tariffs that may cause.

I would be amazed if you managed to sell even one car.

The only demand for British cars is very specialized for vintage jaguars, minis etc. probably a few hundred in the whole country.

I think there are also problems with registering UK cars with the steering wheel on the other side - not sure however

I am also a pessimist about such a business. The only Poles who drive such cars are those migrants who visit the old country in their British car or have just returned and haven`t converted the wheel yet for various reasons.

I think there are also problems with registering UK cars with the steering wheel on the other side

No more - those restrictions were lifted recently But driving such a car in Poland is very dangerous and people know about it.

UK cars with the steering wheel on the other sid

If those cars are over 25 years they can be imported as historic cars and registered as such.
