English teacher thinking about starting his own business in Poland - any ideas

I'm living not to far from Olsztyn Poland, I have been loving here for 2 years. I have been teaching english and working in a bank but I want to start my own business. I have many ideas and I do not know what one would be the best to open in Poland.

English specking kindergarten/Afterschool so kids would be learning English while in Kindergarten/afterschool. Play activity centre. Translation office . Second hand clothing shop or a Discount store that sells everything from wedding decorations, to birthday decorations,bouncy castles candy machine everything 😋

I think a kindergarden or afterschool venue offering novel or western or alternative teaching methods has legs.

Only if you have the right teachers to staff it - and good luck with finding them.


Maybe she has indeed been 'loving' for the last two years ;) as for specking, well perhaps that's a new concept that we haven't heard about yet and she can introduce it to Poland!

The only thing that concerns me is that she seems to be unclear if she's Martha or Arthur. Profile says female, post indicates male 'his' own business. Maybe they're non-binary. See, I know which pronoun to use! :))

I get the impression that she's not precise with words.

People can bluff as a teacher if they can put on a show well enough to hold an audience for a while, however sooner or later it stops working.

Enthusiasm is one thing; an understanding of how people learn and how to manage this is another. Perhaps there's less competition in a small market.
