Why are Polish people, especially women, so disrespectful toward the English?

Poland needs tourists more than the UK needs labour. If the Brits stoppep holidaying in Poland and repatriated all Poles working in the UK, whom would it hurt more?

UK, without a doubt

cuz the brits treat them like slaves, sometimes.

you know respect breeds respect. The same is with disrespectful behaviour.

So I whip my slave but I feed them well! How dare you!!!!!

I think alot of it is on the English.
The English have created alot of propaganda against Poles while letting Blacks silide & giving Muslims more uppurtunity.

All the UK people have to do is treat the Polish with respect and they will be liked in return. It's a two way street, ya know?

Most people are treated with respect,however,we have had plenty of numpties of the level of this pillock coming across and giving Poles a poor name in some eyes;

Oh do shut up child, have you ever even been to England?

You must have lived in a different Poland than I did. They quite assuredly directed their contempt toward nationalities.

You forgot to include your standard Polish disclaimer with your post. Here, I’ll help ya. :)

EXCEPT IF YOU ARE …. black, brown, Asian, paki, foreign or western looking, gay, Jewish, fat, if you can't speak polish, when you're rich or really poor, and if you smile.

Well, they never disrespect me. Or maybe they do. I don't know I'm too busy staring at their boobs

It should be noted that it's mostly uneducated people who went to UK.

Uneducated in what way? Qualifications or just in their way of thinking?

If the first, did you check their qualifications?
If the second, your reasons are what?

Or is there a third, Other?

Naked women? Where? Where?

“Are polish people rude?”
Yes. Next.

Ok, sorry I should I go into this a bit more carefully. When I first came to Poland I was appalled at the way people constantly barged into me on the streets. It took me months the realize that this was actually my fault. Polish people pass on the opposite side to English people, as they drive on the opposite side. Amazing but true. It was me who was barging into them. Once I had figured this out I smiled benevolently at pedestrians and marveled at the ease with which I was able to walk down the street. I was happy right up until the point somebody barged in front of me in a queue or blithely allowed a door to swing shut in my face. The simple truth is that ‘street’ manners in Poland are generally appalling. If someone doesn’t know you, fancy you, or want something from you they’re likely to treat you with about as much respect as they might a rabid mongoose. It’s a jungle out there. Once I had realized and understood this I began to ‘go native.’ I’m a fairly big chap and entirely capable of winning in a pavement game of chicken. Nowadays, if the local barge merchants don’t get out of my way they tend to end up sprawled in the gutter. This is particularly amusing if they happen to be frail young lasses in high heels.

If I may stray into seriousness for a moment I think the root cause of this is that Poles are extremely judgmental. If they don’t know someone and that someone isn’t dressed from head to foot in pure mink/stepping out of a Mercedes SLK/emerging from a government office at that moment they tend to assume that they are scum. Poles are hypersensitive to social divisions. In truth the national flag should be pure green, because jealousy and envy are the driving forces behind most social interactions. Poles will bang on endlessly about how courteous and hospitable they are as a nation, but what this actually boils down to is three things:

1. giving up your seat on the bus to a female who is either a) pretty or b) likely to give you a severe ear-bashing if you don’t;

2. inviting people around to your house and plying them with food and drink in order to demonstrate that a) you have expensive stuff in your house and b) that you can afford to ply people with food and drink;

3. sucking up to people who may be able to do you a favor at some unforeseeable point in the future (elsewhere this is known as bribery).

By crikey I’m in a wicked mood today!

Post #23,134 in the never-ending series of "Polish people are rude (with details or blanket statements)." Fascinating.

Yawn.

I'd change that to 'some Poles' but I got a chuckle out of the post, Tim.

I would have to say over exaggeration.

I noticed ( those cousins I have spoken with) they want to know what I do, how I live, etc.
but I didnt get gutter treatment..

not all people are the same.. not everyone is poland is Polish, so your generalizing and based on
the place where you live.. which prob has some more well to do folks.. that can be said about
any nation, people with sticks up their butts tend to look down at anyone who isnt dressed in
mink coats. doesnt come exclusive to Polish nationality.

Im not saying they didnt do this.. but I doubt it a reflection of the nation as a whole.
I have heard just the opposite of what you described from many others..

disagree.

Patty, he had a point when he said quite a few are judgmental. I have seen it a fair bit. Back to what I always say I guess ;)

Of course, dear. The trademark is a trademark after all.

I'd change that to 'some Poles' but I got a chuckle out of the post, Tim.

I bet you liked "the door in your face" line the most. Since you brought the same situation like 500 times already yourself.

You think he lied, Leroy??

How many times it's fun to read the same observations?
Seanus 15 | 19,674
5 Dec 2011 #79
I did indeed, thanks :)

Observations are observations and they are here to be shared, then accepted or discarded.

I know it's a bitter pill for some to swallow that some places aren't perfect but this is freedom of speech in practice here.

Jesus freaking Christ, where he was denied his freedom of speech?!?! Over dramatic much?
Seanus 15 | 19,674

He wasn't denied at all, I was just saying that he had it.

About as fun as hearing 'pierogi, Palikot and our women are the best' everyday, I imagine ;)

hy are Polish people especially women so disrespectful toward the english

Poles were educated that all things British stood for higher standards, after 2004 and the mass exodus of Poles to the UK and Ireland, they soon came to understand two things very quickly:

1. There is a large underbelly of classless society in the Uk, this went against all they had been taught and they soon came to look down on this with pity.

2. The England they had been taught about in their English studies did exist, unfortunately to a much lesser level than they had anticipated, they became somewhat cynical towards lower levels of British society and only aspired to middle England.

Why are Polish People disrespectful towards the English?

Do all English people expect respect from the Poles, Poland is a member of the European union. So ask yourself a simple question, why are so many English people disrespectful to the Poles in the UK, when all they are prepared to do is the jobs, the scum of England refuse to do.

Do all English people expect or deserve respect from the Poles, Poland is a member of the European union and your equal. So ask yourself a simple question, why are so many English people disrespectful to the Poles, when they are prepared to do the jobs, the scum of England refuse to do. You created the opportunity for the Poles.

Each and every one of you unemployed sub existence dwellers in the UK should look at your Polish/Asian/African working neighbor and be ashamed of yourself every time you mutter a derogatory term about your working immigrant neighbours. Your neighbours are not " nicking your jobs" you are the one that makes England the sick man of Europe, you are the reason why people scorn the UK, you are the one that deserves absolutely no respect. Get a job.

The scum? Why are you calling people scum?I feel them,I am not working for French fries either. If they can get similar money as when working chilling at home, only stupid would work,so get off them.

.If they can get similar money as when working chilling at home, only stupid would work,so get off them.

People like you are the problem, if you want more money get yourself better qualified instead of sitting there on your high horse, with the attitude if they want me they got to pay me more, facts are buddy you get paid what your market value is. If you want a better future make it happen otherwise accept what you are, a sub existence dweller going nowhere and its all down to you. Why should hard working peoples taxes support scum like you- get a job.

Yeah and I will have to pay for his food and acomodation?Forget it!Just dump him from some LOT plane flying over Africa, cheap and simple.

I will remind you of your post about non working Africans in Poland. Double standards = Fats.

What Africans in Poland have to do with English people opposing exploitation?I tell you what,if Africans orf whoever else want to live in Poland, stealing jobs and undercutting wages they have to zapierdalać at least twice as hard as Polish person in order to pay unemployment for every Polish person they put out of work.

Why should hard working peoples taxes support scum like you- get a job.

Because the as you call "scum" are citizens and it's not easy for them to compete with immigrants undercutting wages. It's simple it's not rocket science.

[So based on your rational, Poles working outside of Poland should be taxed twice as much as the locals, because they are putting the indigenous population out of work. Am I right?

I would prefer to use the phrase ' foreign worker or overseas worker' that is what they are workers-contributers.When you spread your lies Grubas, some people may be influenced by what you have to say - there are people who come to PF for worthwhile information, by spreading your diatribe, its understandable why some may consider Poles racist and therefore disrespect them. You are part of this virus.

People like you are the problem,

No,people like you are the problem, flooding the job market with unlimited immigration and cheap labour in order to make it easier to exploit your fellow citizens.

If they not citizens,yes.

Very well, that should keep at least some of them out. That means I am doing a good job here.

No,people like you are the problem, flooding the job market with unlimited immigration and cheap labour in order to make it easier to exploit your fellow citizens.

Let me explain to you in simple terms, in the history of the world there are males and females.

Males, hunt to provide for the family, in the modern world this would be considered working a 9 to 5.
Females, provide a secure home and bring up the children, so that they will become good people for the future.

As an unemployed person you are not fulfilling your male instinct and you are not wise enough to do the female role, therefore you can only be considered a worm being both part male and female, unfortunately you are representing the worst part of both. Grubas are you a man or do you wish to be the taker.
grubas 12 | 1,384
5 Dec 2011 #90
Don't you worry about my instinct. It turns on when I need it to,but sure as hell it doesn't turn on when you expect me to break my neck for a handfull of dollars. And I am sure these British fellows you refer to as a "scum" feel the same about it.

therefore you can only be considered a worm

And?Guess what, sooner or later every single one of us including yourself will become worm's food so get off your high horse.
