What do Poles think of how they are treated in Germany, in comparison to the Muslim migrants

Never had a decent, let alone good, kebab in UK.

Have you had one in Poland? I say kebabs are crappy food anywhere but their place of origin. Sure, there are exceptions, but still, that is the truth.

kebab in UK.

You probably go to the wrong places. Try Cypriot-owned ones.

The worst kebab I ever had in my life was in Gdańsk near Stogi beach. Paradoxically, it had a sign outside saying "Najlepsze kebaby w mieście" (a case of false advertising if ever there was one) and had fatty pork meat, ketchup, mayonnaise and kapusta kiszona in. At least the seagulls were ok to eat most of it.

Maybe he is there to launder money for somebody else. I guess people don't buy that crap too often.

Sorry but I guess by now I would rather wait for visiting Berlin

Have you had one in Poland?

Yes, better than UK but not as good as Berlin

I would rather wait

Try a good one.

Generally if the proprietors are from the subcontinent as you'll find in more downmarket places, they're not as good as the real ones.

Yes, better than UK but not as good as Berlin

I've never had one in Poland half as good.

Then again, you've got culture shock and never managed to lose that sulk that some Poles and Lithuanians get when faced with a more developed society.

a more developed society.

lol? Why, because in the UK you have better kebabs? I think it is you who haven't lost that sulk some Brits have when encountering society that isn't impressed much with their nonsense.
Why are you assuming things?, Maybe she is not a kebab connoisseur, maybe acquired likes are strong in her?

I noticed that some Arabs call that country of yours the United Condom. I know why now.
There they sell the best kebabs in the world in Londonstan, capital of the United Condom. I think it sounds about right.

Try a good one.

Maybe there is a place that has a better one than I had in Berlin. Maybe. The thing is I'm not willing to spend my time, money and calorie intake on seeking that Holy Grail when I can go into any Berlin place and have something much better than anything I had here?

Then again, you've got culture shock and never managed to lose that sulk that some Poles and Lithuanians get when faced with a more developed society.

You are so hilarious. A shame you can't see how much of a 'kids throwing toys out of the pram' vibe you give

By what criteria is the UK a 'more developed' society than Poland at present?

Londonstan, capital of the United Condom

Londonistan - 500 mosques

Baghdad - 1000 mosques

It's so funny and sad that I can't decide if to pee or cry...

The UK is farther down the road to Hell.

Isn't it obvious that they have a better selection of kebabs and better quality, too. Prepared by Abdulah, not some lame John or Harry. There is a secret ingredient in each.
A subtle dribble of Arab's spit.

the only kebab place I've patronized in the last 5 years or so (nor more than once a month at most) is a short walk from home and has Indians behind the counter (judging from appearance and the music playing). I usually get a plate (to go) with a couple of salads, fries and a crap ton of meat. It serves my humble kebab needs.

the quality is a bit variable as ethnic take out is an established first job for migrants and so turnover is fairly high (I think there's one main guy and a revolving cast of helpers).

You'd have liked Theo's. As I say, go to any Cypriot-owned one, or even some of the newer Turkish ones that are popping up nowadays.

the quality is a bit variable

It can be. Usually the Indian ones (or the Syrian/Egyptian ones; there are a few in Warsaw) aren't as good as the others. I tend only to go to one nowadays.

A shame you can't see how much of a 'kids throwing toys out of the pram' vibe you give

Probably because it's not there.

Again, on what basis can the UK claim to be a 'more developed' society than Poland at present?

Have you spent much time there?

The best way to measure the "development" of any society is by the extent the society controls its government.

At the bottom of the scale is Black Dolphin prison.

At the top, Switzerland - a country where citizens can legally overrule the government via a legally binding referendum.

On this basis, Poland wins.

....now we know why we need to keep the EU!

Turkey's application will fail: EU refuses to protect doner recipe

The application by the Turkish doner kebab association Udofed from Istanbul was an attack on the approximately 18,500 doner kebab shops in Germany. It would have meant the end of the popular dish in its current form. But now all kebab fans can breathe a sigh of relief....

....and why the Döner (not kebab you ****) tastes so much better in Berlin!

...Three years ago, the Turkish association submitted an application to the EU to register doner kebabs as a
"guaranteed traditional specialty." The problem: The doner recipes listed in the application are completely different from those used in Germany. All doner kebabs would then have to be produced according to strict Turkish standards - or they would no longer be allowed to be called that.

For the post about the fascist guy

Why do you call him a fascist, because he is left-wing? supporting the right casue for a change?
Your - it's starting again - make me chuckle, you progressive types are really living in a bubble, thinking you are heroes defending humanity aganist Nazies. Dude, you weren't even born at the time, don't embarrass yourself.

He has a Palestinian flag in one window (and a rainbow flag drooped over another part of the store). Obvious signs of creeping fascism?

That makes him a moron. A moron - a person who invites risks with no upside.

Like the guy who had Trump on his front lawn a mile from me. He got his window shot out...

Why not? Politics and sexuality certainly aren't related as almost any Facebook page on the commercial scene in Poland will show you, and some of the strongest Palestine supporters/Israel deniers I know are well towards the righturd end of the spectrum.

Yes, they are.

The ruling and LGBT mobs rely on intimidation and the fear of being canceled.

He has a Palestinian flag in one window

From what I remember, the main Arab leader in the Palestine region during WWII, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, was a very enthusiastic henchman of Hitler and raised an SS division from among his people.

So? Palestinian flags are now overwhelmingly flown by the left (among non-muslims at least).

Yes. The far right often jump on the Palestine bandwagon as a disingenuous means of expressing their antisemitism.

Whatever the person's own personal politics (and it could be one of several political currents), it was a spectacularly crass and exhibitionistic thing to do in Germany given the history and the media attention it would bring.. Someone centrist or on the left is likely to be far more sensitive since it's quite obvious what the reaction to putting a "Judenrein" sign in any window in Germany.

Doubtless he'll be prosecuted.
