In late October the final report was handed over, Polish investigators have 60 days to review and contest it.

don`t tell me that if USA/EU/NATO eventually killed Kaczynski, you expect that Russia may dare to publicly announce that? Think

with all due respect, forget about Kaczynski. its just another `Kennedy` case

The facts and the truth being Russians using a giant magnet to bring president's plane down

facts and truth. Kick ass on this one. Where do you think the truth will come from. do you all know how the Polish investication is geting on? All of the european union, the u.s.a and the russians are rubing thier hands and laughing that they got rid of the Polish opposion which was against their agenda since Poland refused to coperate in their polictical bullshit ways.

That's a funny truth. Giant magnet! LOL.

Since the trip was pretty much impromptu I don't think Russians had any chance to prepare the 'take down' of the plain (the magnet?). :) However, I agree that EU, Russia and USA can be quite happy with the outcome. LK did not dance to their tunes, he was constantly on the way... the problem got 'solved' due to the unfortunate accident.

What are you talking about? Lech Kaczynski had little influence on Poland's political process - if you actually had read the Polish constitution, you'd know that the Presidential role is ceremonial and advisory, nothing more. He certainly wasn't part of the Government - and his veto was about 2-3 votes away from being overridden.

Russia, the EU and the USA couldn't care less about Poland - it's just not that important.

So, what's the "facts" and "truth"? What do you know that the highest Polish military prosecutors don't know?

So, Poland is just not that important as said by delphiandomain the fool. And I say fool because if one new about Polish history and it's strategic position in europe then one would know not to write such a crapy comment.

Poland is still surrounded by enemies, all ways was and all ways will be. The Russian scum bags in the east and the German Nazi bustards in the west plus not to mention the British and American traitors who sold Poland to that murderess dictator Stalin.

This is not a WWII bullshit speech but a modern day political fact. After all these years they still whant a bite of Polish arse.

Stategic position in Europe? That hasn't mattered since the ICBM was invented. Even during the Cold War, Poland was a backwater - in fact, it was fortunate to avoid being incorporated into the USSR. Poland really is insignificant in the grand scheme of things - which is nice.

I think you're a bit delusional and certainly paranoid. Anyway, if the UK and Germany are such enemies, why did Lech Kaczynski ratify the Lisbon Treaty?

This is not a WWII bullshit speech but a modern day political fact. After all these years they still whant a bite of Polish arse.

They couldn't care less about Poland. Why should they? It's a poor EU country, nothing else.

Pilot error as of now. We're all eagerly waiting for th final report...

A combination of errors..resulting in the pilot trying a risky landing...and flying into the ground....

Pilot error. I doubt there'll be any surprises in the final report, though it might give more of an idea as to some of the questions that have arose since the crash.

The problem is that there exists a vocal minority which refuses to accept that a Polish pilot could put the plane into the ground.

I still don't understand why so many people from the government were all on the plane together.

It's worth pointing out that there weren't actually many members of the government on board at all. The President isn't part of the Government, for instance.

I'm not interested in looking for conspiracy theories and secrets - I'm interested in facts.

Ask yourself - why would Russia bother to murder an insignificant President of a poor EU country? He had no ability to influence anything in EU-Russia relations, and if you aren't aware, he had no executive power.

But go on, I'm still waiting for you to tell me about the "facts" and "truth" about the Smolensk accident.

You're also interested in defending the Russian government at all costs.

The accident could have easily been the result of air controller error of giving the wrong landing coordinates to the pilot. Even landing coordinates just slightly off would result in a crash.

Can you imgaine any other government of EU/NATO member state leaving the whole investigation to the Russians If their plane with dozens of VIPs crashed in Russia ? Only cudak Tusk can do that.

That doesn't explain why the pilot descended below 100m when he wasn't cleared to do so. Nor does it explain why he attempted a landing when the conditions weren't suitable in the first place.

I couldn't care less about the Russian government. You seem to care much more than me :)

So, what have the Polish investigators been doing? You know, it's a *joint* investigation.

One rather large, important piece of evidence was examined in Poland thoroughly.
