I can practise my English for free.

Approaching the end of your career teaching English and you still need to practice. :)

Clearly you are unqualified.

President Duda was right to veto your raise.

you still need to practice.

Exactly!! That`s what Polish teachers are required by the education system - work on personal development all the time!!!! Increase their qualifications!!! Attend courses!!! Read books!!!! Participate in fora!!! hahahaha

President Duda was right to veto your raise.

Exactly! That is why no teacher in Poland will ever vote for PiS any more!! Genial move!!! hahahaha

onsidering the good PISA result comparing to Germany !

This PISA test had been well done by students before the PiS` deform of education a few years ago. The latest 2022 test proves that Polish students dropped in overall ranking.

Thank you, PIS gangsters!!! Polish teachers will fekking remember your dirty contribution to this deterioration!!!!

Mr Honourable Saviour Donald Tusk and company are ploughing through PiS gangsters like a tank through the field of wheat. Changes take place every day and I don`t have so much time to cover them all.

A recent one which infuriated PiS gansters and their puppet President:

On Friday, Bodnar, the justice minister and prosecutor general, decided to remove the National Prosecutor Dariusz Barski from the post and appointed Jacek Bilewicz as acting National Prosecutor.

On Friday, Bodnar, the justice minister and prosecutor general, decided to remove the National Prosecutor Dariusz Barski from the post and appointed Jacek Bilewicz as acting National Prosecutor.

Before handing over power, PiS wanted to prevent changes in the prosecutor's office to possible successors. So that if the election is lost, it would not be possible to dismiss National Prosecutor Dariusz Barski, who is a friend of Zbigniew Ziobro and once got into the Sejm on the PiS list. His new head - the Prosecutor General - cannot, in accordance with the law, change his deputy without the president's consent. - As if the president of the United States had delegated his powers to the vice president and he had nothing to say. This is obviously unconstitutional - says Zbigniew Ćwiąkalski, former Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General.

On Friday , Adam Bodnar published a statement in which he informed that "the reinstatement of him (Barski - editor's note) to active service on February 16, 2022 by the previous Prosecutor General, Zbigniew Ziobro, was made in violation of applicable regulations and had no legal effects. "A provision of the Act was applied that was no longer in force." Additionally, the Minister of Justice also published three legal opinions confirming the legality of this statement.

- The Prosecutor General did it very neatly, effectively and in accordance with the law - says Professor Maciej Gutowski, a lawyer from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, about Bodnar's actions.

Adam Bodnar decided that if the National Prosecutor and colleague of Zbigniew Ziobro was appointed to active service using a provision that was not in force, Dariusz Barski is still retired, so the president's consent to appoint Jacek Bilewiczna as the acting National Prosecutor is not necessary.

The president thinks otherwise and wrote on the Internet that Adam Bodnar is trying to remove Dariusz Barski from the position of National Prosecutor, "for which he has no independent competences."

- I want us to recognize that if someone says about himself that he is still the National Prosecutor, despite the decisions of the Prosecutor General, it is not the case that he still is. No, he is not - says Donald Tusk about the whole situation. - I would prefer to look for this common space with the president, but I will not forget that it is the president who is the cause of this constitutional, systemic and judicial confusion. 2015, 2016, 2017 are joint decisions of Mr. Kaczyński and President Duda - adds the head of government.

considering the good PISA result comparing to Germany !

If that's true it's because non-German (or only partially German-) speaking non-Germans drag the average down.

Large scale immigration dumbs schools down because a lot of students don't have the necessary linguistic or cultural awareness (and in the case of some groups are against gaining such awareness on principle).

That`s the only thing PIS gangsters can do in multiple situations like this. But people holding power just call the police and remove occupiers. Simple.

Do you know that the last occupiers of TV buildings left yesterday.??? hahahahaha

One of chief PiS propagandists who had been fired a few weeks ago tried to enter but was pushed outside.

PiS swamp is the deepest: - the judiciary where PIS created illegal institutions infested with their supporters whose main aim was to remove independent judges who obeyed the rule of law.

Apart from PIS nominated prosecutors, also PiS loyal judges are suspended or removed from positions. What for?? For oppressing decent independent judges who refused to follow PiS gansters` party agenda.

One of the latest is :

The Ministry of Justice has initiated the procedure to dismiss judge Piotr Schab from the position of president of the Court of Appeal in Warsaw. He was also suspended from performing his duties.

"Taking into account that Judge Piotr Schab has repeatedly abused his power - both while performing administrative functions in the justice system and as a disciplinary spokesman, the Minister of Justice concluded that his continued performance of both of these functions directly threatens the good of the justice system, both as a generator of a chilling effect against judges , as well as the real possibility of applying so-called soft measures of administrative repression against them," we read in the press release.

an alcoholic

That's probably 50% of Polish politicians, PiS definitely included, and a lot of their rural voters too.

I once went to a small party in a private room in a restaurant close to the Sejm organised by one of PiS' former coalition partners and attended by some political big names and was rather shocked at the quantity of alcohol they got through.

The oddest thing was that they paid the (huge) bar bill entirely with coins that one of their staff was carrying in a large and heavy fabric bag...

Drinking alcohol and being an alcoholic is not the same. We are talking about a 'certified' alcoholic in a key position in Tusk's government.

It is if you drink enough to get drunk every day.

alcoholic in a key position

Plenty of those in PiS and other parties.

One very well known politician on PL (not a PiSflapper) is in my opinion (from personal interactions) an alcoholic even though this certainly isn't public knowledge. I can also think of some minor politicians known to me (in different countries) whose daily alcohol intake raises questions.

Dude, how long for you been living in Poland? What is your Polish comprehension level?
When you say things like that it makes me doubt your awareness when it comes to Polish politics.
Tusk is a thug and he is more post-commie Thug than anybody else. On top of it, he is going to roll up all strategic investments that PiS said they will do.

Nuclear plants, harbor in Szczecin, CPL. Whatever you can say about PiS at the very least they were doing something a few things good.
Tusk is not so much, all he does is break the law and the constitution.
It is the same nonsense with the presidential pardon, and unconstitutional crap that he does, also they were not the only ones who used special police units to do some extra stuff that was not so legal, and only they gone go to jail? Where is the long line of others including Tusk? Like everyone then everyone.

Main PiS propagandists in state TV have had cosmic earnings in 2023.
.

I was talking about PiS professional propagandists aka journalists, speakers, presenters etc.

There was another group pf PiS controlled scumbags - "pundits" who were invited to TV studio by PIS propagandists to comment on current events. Each of those "experts" got 500 PLN for one commentary. Some managed to earn 300.000 per year. AmaSSing!!

Was it really so surprising that PiS TV swine occupied TV buildings after they were removed from the trough???? They fully realised they had lost a source of easy money at our expense.

Clean the swamp!!! Scrape all PiS gangsters off to the bone as we say in Polish!! hahahaha

Big money for TVP "experts" during the PiS government. That's how much they got for commenting

Since the change of power in Poland, further facts have come to light regarding high earnings in the public media, previously dominated by PiS. Before the end of 2023, KO MP Dariusz Joński revealed a letter which showed that state media propagandists were earning huge amounts of money. Thanks to this, we learned that, for example, the leading presenter of "Wiadomości", Michał Adamczyk, earned almost PLN 1.5 million from April to December last year.

It was similar in Polish Radio, where TVP "stars" - Michał Rachoń, Jan Pietrzak and Adrian Klarenbach - collected large sums for conducting guest programs or journalistic segments on the state-owned radio station. In turn, an associate of the former president of TVP, Jacek Kurski, was to earn PLN 3 million in three years , despite the lack of higher education.

Now new information has been revealed by Krzysztof Brejza. The MEP of the Civic Coalition published on social media the content of an e-mail he received from the Public Information Team of Polish Television. "On TVPiS, commenting 'publicists' received money for each statement. Some were on lump sum contracts! - he wrote on Twitter.

- And so, the record holder's contract in just one year in 2023 amounted to as much as PLN 300,000. A dozen or so people earned money in this system, the politician added. From the e-mail he shared, we can learn, among other things, that the cooperation was "based on one-off benefits" (a single benefit was valued at PLN 500) and "a wider range of contracts."

The email also mentioned the names of TVP "experts". These included: Jacek and Michał Karnowski, Miłosz Manasterski, Karol Gac, Adrian Stankowski, Jerzy Jachowicz, Elżbieta Królikowska-Avis, Anna Derewienko, Marian Kowalski and Jan Pietrzak. "An administrative decision will be issued regarding the detailed terms and conditions of civil law contracts concluded by the company with specific persons" - these are the words that conclude the message received by Brejza.

From post 154
Ryszard Legutko, my professor of philosophy class at uni in 1980s. Today he sold his soul to the devil and supports PiS, the same bolsheviks he once used to oppose. He does it for huge cash which he is paid by the EU being a rightist member to the Euro Parliament. Money does`nt bring happiness but without money it is easier to run into bad luck

It is amassing that the philospher proved still too decent by PIS standards and was fired from his European position by the main PIS bolshevik and replaced with one of PiS brutal gangsters.

Here is an article which explains what the dismissal means.

Replacing Legutko with Tarczyński, a man with a disgusting political biography, is perhaps the best illustration of Kaczyński's extremism.

Among the members of the so-called professorial faction surrounding Kaczyński, the Krakow historian of ancient philosophy and historian of social thought Ryszard Legutko was probably the only scientist who also enjoyed some respect among scientists critical of the PiS government . His scientific or pedagogical achievements did not include any overtly populist or even slightly swaggering elements, typical of, for example, Zdzisław Krasnodębski, Andrzej Zybertowicz or Andrzej Przyłębski. His political practice was also different. It was clearly visible that Legutko, probably following the example of the famous conservative English philosopher Roger Scruton, tried to maintain as much restraint as possible when it came to the selection of polemical epithets, although he never questioned the general course of the party.

In recent days, however, the paths of the professor from Krakow and the political admirer of the rodeo from Żoliborz have diverged. During the meeting of the PiS delegation to the European Parliament, Kaczyński unexpectedly attacked Legutko in harsh words and removed him from his position as the leader of PiS MPs . The shocked professor behaved honorably by PiS standards and reportedly resigned from taking part in the May elections . Kaczyński chose the infamous Dominik Tarczyński as Legutko's successor.

Replacing Legutko with Tarczyński, a man with a disgusting political biography, is perhaps the best illustration of Kaczyński's senile extremism. It is difficult to even talk about the operation of the Gresham-Copernicus law, because the leap is too extreme. Tarczyński, who a few years ago wanted to challenge Lech Wałęsa, who is twice his age, to a fist fight, will, at the leader's will, chair the PiS group of Brussels MPs. A graduate of probably the weakest faculty of the Catholic University of Lublin, close to the politics and style of action of the famous Bąkiewicz, having replaced the experienced Plato expert from Krakow, will henceforth represent the Polish right in Brussels. With this poker play, the chairman wanted to clearly show his disregard for Brussels, which he hates. To put it briefly: it can't be worse, it can't be any stupider. There are increasingly clear symptoms of a kind of fin de règne over Nowogrodzka Street.
