Time to clean the swamp - dePiSification of Poland

Poland has to be depisified after 8 years of growing and promoting their swamp by PiS and other rightists. In this thread we can mention all cases of cleaning this swamp.

Main areas where the PiS swamp is the deepest:

- public state media: both national and local TV, radio and papers which PiS seized under total control and used to ruthlessly attack the opposition in communist style

- the judiciary where PIS created illegal institutions infested with their supporters whose main aim was to remove independent judges who obeyed the rule of law.

- relations with the EU - currently, the EU is withholding huge funds for Poland coz PiS gov refused to obey European laws, mainly in the judiciary.

- state companies where PIS gangsters planted their families and friends in all boards to suck state assets by millions.

- the gov area where PIS created as many positions for their ministers, deputy ministers, deputy deputy ministers and their secretaries of state as possible to suck off state assets even more - theirs was the largest gov ever ruling in independent Poland.

-also, all criminal acts commited by PIS have to be examined and punished. Apart from breaking criminal law, they have to answer for breaking the Constitution.

The depisification is necessary to strengthen democracy in Poland. I can see that after the lost elections PIS isn`t going to come to their senses and change their autocratic approach. No, they seem the same obsessed autocratic maniacs as before and are proud of it. They have learnt nothing.

There is no other way to save Poland from autocratic rightists than the thorough cleaning of the swamp.
PiS has left the veritable Augean Stables in Poland but I hope the new gov will deal with it step by step.

It appears Dominik Tarczynski has really gotten under your thin leftist skin! Hahahahaha.

cleaning of the swamp.

You are parroting Trump now, do you miss him? He`ll be back soon:)

Lets all watch from Dominik`s speech again and hopefully you will learn something, leftard!

The Polish nation has rejected you, 8 times in a row, dear Leftist! So, get used to it bc you are going to lose again!!!! HooT! Hoot!

Its just another one of his marxist grievance threads. He's just belly sore bc his leftard party lost 8 times in a row! Muhahahaha

He was just crying last week that he wants us kicked off PF so he can tell his Baghdad Bob stories without scrutiny.

He recently called for me to be silenced ( banned) .. He wants this place to be a lefty echo chamber.

The Polish nation has rejected

It seems you have serious deficiencies in keeping updated with the recent events, darling. Hasn`t the news reached your trailer park yet??? AmaSSing. :):)

Putin

False. Actually, PIS or Konfederacja ruling Poland was the best option for the Kremlin. Now Putin is furious Poland is going to return to its European family.

Dominik`s speech

It seems you are romantically obsessed with the guy coz you mention him everywhere while he is so unimportant here. Amassing you are so open in the forum. hahahaha

Never mind, stay tuned for the first cases of dePiSification soon. hahahaha

Never mind, stay tuned for the first cases of dePiSification soon.

Just remember, pawian, what goes around, comes around even harder, next time PiS is in power. And judging by the history of broad coalitions in Poland, that might be very soon. I suggest you let most sleeping dogs lie.

Ziemkiewicz puts it best

Admittedly, the election was decided by the mobilization of three million "normals," the dressing up of the disgusted with Polishness in white and red, and the hiding of radicals behind the back of the sanctimonious Holownia - not by the radicalism of the frustrators, who for eight years have been declaring every month a revolution and "the ultimate compromise of the camp of power."

But now the "democrats" no longer have to pretend anything. Yesterday's lovers of the Constitution announce that they will amend it with resolutions of the Sejm (because laws require the President's signature), they are raring to "disintegrate" and "punish" the Law and Justice (PiS) electorate with "police state methods," as an influential German newspaper encourages them to do, to put in prisons and sack anyone who has been appointed in the last eight years, even if only the director of a provincial post office. At the same time, they are preparing to turn everything upside down in the name of the most extreme and degenerated by the impotence of years of frustration ideology. Giertychovism in alliance with Michnikovism has already begun to rage.

Link? Cause that guy is trippin' balls....

One of the most interesting elements of the election was PiS losing its crypto voters (people who voted for PiS but didn't want to admit to doing so publicly)...

PiS appointee's are in deep $hit. The head of Orlen probably needs to leave the country. This guy is simply criminal. PiS is also now said to be looking to sell off the media companies Orlen purchased before the new government controls them. I hope the new government keeps its promises and does not mess with the social welfare programs, but finds a way to pay for them. The PiS system of placing party loyalists in power and paying them incredible sums of money really looks like the Putin style of government and oligarchism. Poland is in real trouble financially, and this new government needs to figure out something pretty quickly. ZUS is going to be a problem.

In the state companies and media, many of these have written their own contracts with heavy compensation clauses for dismissal. So hard working taxpayers like myself will be paying for these lowlifes to drive around in fancy German cars for a few more years.

The directors of the Provincial post offices can have no complaints - they knew nothing about post, and not much about sitting in an office - these were pure sinecures for PiS organizers and pig farmers who funded PiS.

Yes. There are lot of those and some should certainly go and go as soon as possible. It will be hard to unpick though.

Trump now, do you miss him?

No, I don`t miss that orange haired monkey. :):). I used his words in ironic context to show that rightists accuse others of creating the swamp while they make the deepest and smelliest one of all themselves.

In the state companies and media, many of these have written their own contracts with heavy compensation clauses for dismissal.

Yes, the current rumour is their contracts are being modified right now. If it is true, the people responsible for it will pay dearly for contributing to financial losses of the TV company.

Just remember, pawian, what goes around, comes around even harder, next time PiS is in power.

Those threats are useless coz in 2015 PiS removed everybody who had been appointed to their position by the previous gov. Whether the new gov is nice or not towards PiS is of zero importance.

No, I don`t miss that orange haired baboon.

Who are you to criticise baboons!

Thinking about trumpet's forthcoming criminal trials and prison sentences, I wonder if there'll be anything similar here if the new government uncover any wrongdoing by individuals.

Indeed. Quite a time of change in Poland right now. I suspect the change will be smooth though since the party that are most contrarian have a lesser role now.

Source that this was a widespread phenomenon? Anyway the individual sinecures will be replaced by PSL organisers and pig farmer managers anyway.

Source = living in Poland and trying to do things, trying to run my business honestly and being sick of my taxes being funneled straight into the pockets of some Waldek and Czeslawa over in Chelm.

Yes this has always happened but it has steadily declined between 2004 and 2015. PiS has taken it to a whole new level (same in Hungary too BTW, where I also do business)

Will the new government stop the pretending to be entrepreneur? The left wants an "test przedsiębiorcy".
businessinsider.com.pl/wiadomosci/nowy-rzad-skonczy-z-udawaniem-dzialalnosci-lewica-chce-testu-przedsiebiorcy/5fcbb06

This is a classic leftist approach. Instead of wondering why people are running away from the Umowa o Pracę, it's time to force everyone into the worst contract they can have. And it won't kill small and specialized businesses, where one project can take months, or the budget, which is barely sustainable, and you won't have to look for crap orders just to demonstrate "real business" to the authorities, which will drastically reduce work efficiency and any profitability.

The market of "employment agencies for specialists", such as the already existing Useme, will not develop at all, where we will have the same for crappy works/orders only with a commission penalty that we usually have to pay - this money will certainly not go to large capital entities that are organizationally and financially capable manage such an "agency."

We all benefit from stupid ideas, right? Do you also support the leftist idea of a tax of up to 75%?

The left

The new government isn't on "the Left" though, is it...

If anything, it's centre-right.

We agree on one thing though. Bottom feeding 'agencies' are parasitic.

Grabbing other people's money just because they dare to earn better is, yes, a pure communist ploy.
jon357 74 | 22,060

Grabbing other people's money

"Using society's capital" is a more coherent and less small-minded way of expressing that. Those of us who "dare to earn better" alway pay more tax than people who are less able or less lucky.

If you have difficulty understanding that, read any of the books written by Karol Wojtyla. Or if you're not a fan of his for whatever reason, try reading the Gospels.

a pure communist ploy

Nor are normal centrist politics or a developed society a "Communist ploy".

"Using society's capital" is a more coherent and less small-minded way of expressing that.

Do they work B2B with a company from abroad? So, if UoP is forced on them, they will stop working in Poland altogether and will work in the target country.

Do they work on B2B in the Polish department of a foreign company? The cashier at Lidl too. What's the problem here? Should we get rid of foreign companies and work only for Poles?

Those of us who "dare to earn better" alway pay more tax than people who are less able or less lucky.

Preferably 75% tax for everyone above the national average and everyone will be fine, yes
It's strange that no one has yet come up with the idea of simply jebnąć the 90% tax for everyone. Then there would be paradise on earth without any kulaks.
jon357 74 | 22,060
4 Nov 2023 #26
B2B

Almost always a fake term used disingenuously. A business is a business and a person is a person.

A government on the left (unlike the new one) ought to stop those 'b2b' scams hard and quickly.

Preferably 75% tax for everyone above the national average

Too high, however if the richest evaded tax less, there would be less need to get the revenue from further down.

Another example of capitalism screwing you over,
Korvinus 3 | 501
4 Nov 2023 #27
ought to stop those 'b2b' scams hard and quickly.

And take money from doctors and medical rescuers, because many of them are B2B?

And to convince the above, as well as IT specialists, that they will be much better off in the West.
jon357 74 | 22,060
4 Nov 2023 #28
B2B

There's a golden chance to end so-called 'b2b'. Hopefully the government or their successors will do that. Let workers be workers, and let them get the full fruits of their labour, both directly through decent wages or indirectly through a decent health system, good publicly owned infrastructure and a stable society free from people making a fast buck from us all and running off with it.

And take money from

You still don't get it.

that they will be much better off in the West.

As we can see from the 'b2b' crapola, Poland is economically and politically 'the west' too and if you think costs are lower in, say, the Home Counties or the Randstadt or the Ile de France than Poland you should either get out more or ideally do the opposite.
Korvinus 3 | 501

There's a golden chance to end so-called 'b2b'.

Meanwhile, I hope that the left will start to submit even more idiotic and anti-human ideas, until it finally reaches a critical mass, thanks to which it will be kicked out of the emerging coalition, because even the Confederation will be more attractive to PO-PSL than the leftists with a nail in their mouth, detached from reality.

idiotic and anti-human ideas

You're far far more likely to find that on the right.

the Confederation will be more attractive

Crazies are never attractive.
