Today it was Poland- Iran. Very entertaining! After the first 2 sets I thought Poland is done for and then...Poland just woke up. Set 4 we crashed Iran. Just pure fun. Especially with beer at hand :)
The Polish referee, the best referee in the world, is threatened with dismissal, i.e. being kicked out of the Champions League final, because he attended a legal meeting of a "right-wing" political party in Poland.
Screw him, he should have just shouted slavaukraini and carried a flag with rainbow colors.
From the article, referring to posters advertising the far-right hate event: "Another poster featured Marciniak wearing a Fifa referee kit."
There's no issue about who attends what meeting privately, in their own time and not wearing a high profile organisation's work uniform. Appearing on a poster advertising a hate group while wearing FIFA kit is however a whole different issue. FIFA are obviously going to take action against an individual who tries to associate them with a fringe organisation that is so blatantly against FIFA's values and those of decent human beings that it has the slogan " We stand against Jews".
Speaking of which, Iga Swiatek won Roland Garros yesterday so congrats, while the whole world is taking a bow to two Serbians who are making sports history Novak Djokovic who has a historic chance to win his 23rd Grand Slam today and become the greatest tennis player of all time and Nikola Jokic who led the Denver Nuggets for the first time ever into the NBA finals, is one win away from becoming NBA champion and is currently regarded as the best basketball player in the world.

Just a pretty amazing thought. War torn Serbia has produced BOTH the current world's greatest NBA basketball player (Nikola Jokić) AND tennis player (Novak Djokovic). And they are both nicknamed "The Joker!" Go figure ; )
Seldom has a german Nationalmannschaft gotten that much bad rap....hopefully Flick get's their *** together till next year or otherwise I will have to watch my Brazil tape again.
@Bratwurst Boy *Gives BB some Polish coping medicine*
Here take it, it's a Polish national coping medicine. It used to be only known as "Gorzałka" now it's known as Vodka thanks to the Russians. It can be losely translated as "The bitter thing*
So have some "Bitterliche drinken" I guess
*hands over boxes with Vodka* Just don't overdo it
