Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 17

On top of Georgia doing a complete 180 ever since our war with them, you can also add Azerbaijan to that mix now.

A couple of years ago, when Azerbaijan was pummeling Armenia, everybody on PF was cheering: "Woooohoooo, Russia's allies are getting crushed and there's nothing they can do about it!"

Nobody seemed to care then, that a rich petro-state was preying on its much smaller and poorer neighbor. For PF masters of strategy - if something is bad for Russia - it's good enough for them.

In the years since, the powerful Armenian diasporas in places like France and the United States have worked hard to turn Azerbaijan into a pariah. The only thing keeping Azerbaijan from being lumped into the same club as Russia, is that Europe needs it oil - for now.

A bit surprised at how fast it went from being the West's darling (for embarrassing Russia's allies), to again being termed a regressive eastern dictatorship, Azerbaijan is slowly coming back into the fold.

Their little foray into being independent (by leveraging Turkish and Israeli help), has pretty quickly come to an end.

I guess you can't fight the laws of gravity inside the former Soviet Union.

So the reply to people that say Ukraine will not forgive Russia for at least a century, is IT CAN HAPPEN MUCH FASTER THAN YOU WOULD EXPECT.

There's already some small signs that the Ukrainian electorate is losing faith in the West

There aren't though are there.

Are those signs in the room with you now?

And meanwhile, r*SSia's 'currency' has lost a quarter of its value since August.

There aren't though are there.

There are, and they are everywhere.

On Twitter, in comments under articles, on Facebook (still popular in Ukraine), in their press, and on their tv.

It's evident in Zelensky's increasingly irritated replies to various Western proposals (like lowering the mobilization age to 18).

There is a realization dawning upon the people that they had been had. This is what the Georgian government capitalized on, and why they won that vote so overwhelmingly. Unfortunately the intelligentsia of Tbilisi, Batumi and Kutaisi are not willing to accept what the rest of their countrymen have voted for.

Probably paid orcs. Like the laughable ones in newspaper comments fields in the IK who pretend to have English names but write in ways that no English person ever would.

And remember, most people don't use the internet that much.

and why they won that vote so overwhelmingly

A rigged election with r*SSian interference.

A rigged election with r*SSian interference.

Where is the proof?!?

It's been weeks, and people are at the point of wanting to torch the parliament building - and I still have not seen proof.

There were thousands of observers. The State Department and the EU, only ever said they want a recount and an investigation. It was done - it did not change the results whatsoever.

You can't just pillage and burn your way to getting the electoral result you want.

Show proof of mass ballot stuffing. Show that people were barred from voting. Show intimation of voters.

Otherwise it's all just sour grapes over losing.

In the end, the power of Truth - with a capital letter "T" - overrides everything else.

Russia is winning, and will eventually win - because we were honest and true.

We have less money, less weapons, less people - less of everything... But we have the Truth.

All the Western bluster can't obscure it.

Serbian political commentators says that Polish people reacted properly because organized massive protests against war with Russia. Poles are good and wise. I kiss them in the brain.

I am not only assimilating, but completely integrating. I speak Polish, not well, every day, and communicate with Poles in Polish.

Wow! We didn`t know about it. You have impressed us now. Hats off!

All the Western bluster can't obscure it.

...or the insults how Russians don't have a clue what citizenship is all about...
As a reminder:

I watched this video about six times and didn't notice any confusion what country is theirs.

@Bobko

In WWI we were again not acting "on our own", but

Russia was fighting on its" own, and without allies helping and guiding it along the way it got defeated. Which is a pattern in Russian military history like I said. Russia either loses or suffers such high losses that it becomes a Pyrrhic victory.

we won literally within 72 hrs

Do you think NATO won in Afghanistan?

...thus proving that Russia is not an aggressive nation. They need friendly buffers but buffers are not acts of aggression.

A nation that is ready to attack is a nation that is ready to defend itself.

Do you think NATO won in Afghanistan?

NATO is a desk with a phone to DC and a pile of memos and manuals.

Because the army pays better, Russian women are sending their husbands en masse to the war with Ukraine. Clever women.
