Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 14

Everyone should be praying for world peace right now, thanks to Tusk's warmongering regime beating the drums of war.

As Russia's invasion of Ukraine continues to drive Poland's military modernization efforts, domestic and foreign defense companies are gearing to promote their products at the upcoming MSPO show in Kielce.
Over the past years, the event, scheduled to run between Sept. 3 and 6, has established itself as a leading trade show in the region.
Poland has led the way, aiming to spend about PLN 160 billion (US$41.5 billion), or some 4.2 percent of the country's GDP, on its armed forces this year.

Quoting:

It seems that if you are not writing your usual blather in "Random Chat", all you're capable of doing is copy-pasting entire walls of text in the other threads.

Do you imagine you are some kind of "Associated Press" or "Reuters Newswire"? I can also use Google, thank you very much.

Do you have anything resembling an actual opinion?

For example, in relation to the above, you could write:

1) I am encouraged by Poland's militarization in response to Russia's unprovoked aggression. I hope this will send a strong signal to the orcs to keep their hands off Poland!

or alternatively:

2) Poland cannot afford to be spending these kinds of sums on expensive weapons, when there are so many other challenges facing the Polish state. I wish this war would end sooner, so that more rational spending decisions could be made.

These kind of posts, where you make known some kind of an opinion - will gather responses. Otherwise, everyone will continue to entirely ignore your posts.

I know you don't know a thing about Poland, and come here mainly to vent your mental issues - but you could at least try to write something interesting once in a while. This way you would also save yourself lots of time, by not writing posts that no one will ever react to.

Unless another state changes some very important conditions

Russia recognized Ukraine in its current borders without some additional conditions. Alas, annexations of Crimea and four oblasts partly occupied in 2022 are clear violations of treaties Russia signed - e.g. Russian-Ukrainian Treaty of 1997.

Stop defending what is not worthy of defending. You only make yourself look dumb by doing so.

No country can fear secure in the vicinity of Russia - which is willing to unilaterally manufacture territorial conflicts and later act on them. Hence the general willingness to join NATO to prevent such a scenario. Like unlawful annexation of Crimea by Russia in 2014 and later unlawful annexations of four Ukrainian oblasts by Russia in 2022.

For Russia it's an entirely self-inflicted wound. You bully your neighbours, they will finally join a mutual defence pact aimed to protect themselves from you.

For Russia it's an entirely self-inflicted wound. You bully your neighbours, they will finally join a mutual defence pact aimed to protect themselves from you.

Where's the wound?

So Sweden and Finland joined NATO - big deal.

On the other hand we have some hundred thousand square kilometers of Ukraine's richest land, and millions of new citizens.

What a terrible trade!

Don't tell me you believe the noises coming out of the Kremlin about Finland and Sweden?

Every intelligent person understands that those two would never attack us, and that them joining NATO changes exactly zero.

TAKING LAND IN UKRAINE > NEW MEMBERS JOINING NATO.

You can add Tuvalu and Paraguay to NATO as well, and Putin will also makes some sounds of displeasure.

One thing is existential for us, the other a mere annoyance.

Come on, I thought you were a smart guy...

I see you have no shame whatsoever.

Nothing says 'shame' like endorsing Poland needlessly going to war when, as an old woman, you're conveniently guaranteed to be uninvolved in the fighting.

Russia recognized Ukraine in its current borders without some additional conditions.

Did you hold the candle during talks in Belovezskaya Puscha, and know what was agreed behind the public declarations better than current politicians?

Of course you are right Bobko - it's always been a colonial war for North Nigeria, nothing to do with NATO.

A 19th century attitude to go with your 19th century weapons and tactics

Russia continues to function according to imperial mentality, which is older than Soviet Union and dates back to 16th Century. Until such mentality ends, there is no possibility of equal relationship - Russia will always try to dominate its partners. Under tzars, first secretaries or Putin, they're still imperialists and warmongers susceptible to autocratic rule.

That's why, despite many misunderstandings and different opinions, we can work with Germany (which embraced democracy and rule of law), but have to oppose Russia (which still tries to subjugate everyone around).

Come on, I thought you were a smart guy...

You are a slow learner.

I knew they were morons from day one of this war.

Memo to stupid, Russia-hating Polaks: Please prove me wrong and say or post something that makes sense for a change...

...like that the referendum in Crimea was more defective than those in Canada, Scotland, and Kosovo without saying "freedom and democracy".

So Sweden and Finland joined NATO - big deal.

With all those ICBMs and 14 Trident-class subs carrying half of the US strategic nukes, Sweden and Finland are like two pimples on Tyson's ass.

I am not sure if this analogy is any good but that's the best I can come up with for now.

Russia will always try to dominate its partners.

...as opposed to the US that loves being dominated.

What a moron...

Of course you are right Bobko

This is a pleasant change in tone - thank you.

I didn't know it was necessary to explain to people that NATO expansion is not nearly as important as what happens in Ukraine.

Ukraine joining NATO is of course an entirely different issue - it absolutely cannot be allowed.

It's Putin's job to complain about NATO expansion - it doesn't mean it's an existential issue.

In the same way, it's Xi Jinping's job to complain about places like the Philippines and Singapore signing onto Western defense pacts. It doesn't mean he actually gives 1/10th the sh*t about those things, as he does about what happens to Taiwan.

Ukraine = Taiwan. Is that easier to understand?

I remember 2022 where armoured Russian columns penetrated deep into Ukraine before getting blown up and routed. There is a stark difference between that phase of the war and today and clearly it is such because Russia no longer can afford big scale offensives like those in the past.

They can't even afford opening new frontlines in different border areas, Ukraine had to do that instead. Of course Ukraine is exhausted but I continue to find it HILARIOUS that Russia and Ukraine are in peer war and it is somehow NORMAL to anyone.

Both are far superior in terms of socio-economic system to the countries that want to absorb them..

china is still run by the same party that caused the worst famine in human existence

Taiwan and Ukraine show just how ugly china and russia are.

@Bobko You will notice that Russia's negotiations prior to their entry into your civil war asked the West (not Ukraine, Ukraine is just one piece on the chess board) to roll back t NATO to 1997 members. And when NATO politely told Russia to go get stuffed, Russia chimped out and invaded an unaligned state.

NATO could not hope for a better advertisement.

Russia-hating Polaks:

That is a normal mentality, not just in Poland.

Russia continues to function according to imperial mentality, which is older than Soviet Union and dates back to 16th Century

You have summed up Russia perfectly in one sentence!

Russia will never have a place in the world unless they become a proper democracy.Hey, Bobko and Velund! Are Russians not as brave as Poles?
Why don't they take a leaf out of Poland's history and start a movement like Solidarnosc and start a slow revolution? It worked for Poland.

Why not Generalissimo, or at least Field Marshal?

Maybe Zelensky should vacate his seat, and let you sit at the steering wheel?

Honestly, you may do a better job than Zelensky, because it is hard to do worse.

hmm.. what about Chinese land taken by Russia? Should China claim it back now?
Bobko  26 | 2189

Should China claim it back now?

It can certainly try.

We fully demarcated our borders, and they have relinquished all their claims - so it would be a little upsetting.

But since we invaded Ukraine, despite also earlier recognizing the borders - it should be fair game.

The problem, more, is that the Chinese don't know how to fight. Their last fight was in the 1970s in Vietnam, and there they had their ass handed to them. Before that they have a pretty bad history of folding to invaders many times smaller in size.

Chinese people often call Russia "战斗民族" - this means "fighting nation" or "warrior nation". They think we are a very strange people that enjoy fighting merely for fighting's sake.

Right now, we have the largest number of military personnel in the world with combat experience. Number two is probably Ukraine. America's experience of chasing goat herders around mountains doesn't count.

This is as important a measurement as the number of airplanes, tanks, and submarines.

No, a proud Kashubian and Eurocrat.

Brate. Kashubs are Serbs. Baltic is Serbian ocean in old maps.

And Poles themselves are Sarmatians ie Serbians. Sorry if its problem for you now.

Fu*ked up is the brain of all who thinks Poles are happy to fights, side by side with Teutons, against Russia. Serious brain orgies.

cannon fodder than Russia has

So, Russians are cowards?

Honestly, you may do a better job than Zelensky, because it is hard to do worse.

Really? Are you nuts? How well has Putin done so far after two and a half years......???

The problem, more, is that the Chinese don't know how to fight.

Maybe so, but they have much more cannon fodder than Russia has and all Russian youth would be dead well before China claimed victory!

America's experience of chasing goat herders around mountains doesn't count.

That was a funny but insane comment!

Right now, we have the largest number of military personnel in the world with combat experience

With combat experience....... and that experience is not helping Russian morale......but China has too many numbers...... if I was Chinese, I would be thinking,"Russia is ready to be taken!"

@Crow

Go back to the rest home, you are not making sense, mind you, you never did anyway!
