Polish Independence Day March in Warsaw. Is it going to be the biggest march yet?

I not only defend them but I also support them.

Which means that you're in a tiny minority and therefore your views cannot be taken as in any way representative of the Polish people.

Still, watching nationalists beg PiS to let them march is hilarious.

As an American from the South, I find the term "Yanks" to be very offensive (as it only refers to northerners).

If you are one of those easily offended snowflakes then you are on the wrong forum.

You keep trotting this c××p out but if there was a similar march in The Uk you would get a similar response.
It does not mean that the majoriry do not support it.

I posted a link to a poll a day or so ago that shows the majority does not support it. Find our own poll...

If you are one of those easily offended snowflakes

Did a pseudo-Pole just say something?

It does not mean that the majoriry do not support it.

So a poll clearly showing that the majority wouldn't take part in it even if they could means that the majority actually supports it?

What kind of cognitive dissonance do you have to suffer from to come up with that kind of statement?

Anyway, the organisers have done a deal with PiS to march alongside them. Hilarious, and makes a complete mockery of the "grassroots" crap that people have been coming out with here. They're sucking the balls of PiS to let them march, like good little obedient fascists.

Please don't distort my words.....I said that if a similar situation happened in The UK the polls would say the same.
Polls don't tell the full truth, you want to believe them because you don't want to believe what Polish people actually think.
You still don't understand Poles, after all those years of living there....

We will never win the argument with these ex pats in Poland.

This is not a matter of winning or losing. And also I hardly see any valid or even sensible arguments here on this thread.

They think they know it all.....but they don't understand the subtleties.....Poles are

You have to understand that this just a margin of a margin. Those people don't represent the views of expats - which as a whole are just a small group of people living in Poland - but only a handful of expats active on this forum.

Few are smart, others are confused, some are clueless or too much attached to their own woldview to understand Poland.

And few are very frustrated and immune to any possible logical arguments :-)

The delusions that armchair Poles have towards Poland when they don't live in it are just that, delusions.

Still, we have to thank them, because Poland is better without them.

Great news.

The Independence March organisers and the President [with a Government] have negotiated a deal. There will be one large march yet both of the groups will be autonomous within it.

Very sensible deal.

Excellent news. PiS are now associating themselves with something supported by only 2% of the population, meaning that Duda in particular will be linked permanently with the ONR/MW.

The negative headlines from this tomorrow will be a remarkable sight, and the bad reputation that Poland has is just going to get considerably worse.

Not a commie.

you are, a commie, progressive who cares which one, your views are such that you must be a commie or a fool.

As for IQ, mine are average?

Slight below average, that is clear.
Since you're asking mine is above average.

So, 78 percent of Poles, who hate these marches

Where you getting you data from? Polish people in general do not hate those marches they are just not interested in politicks or anything beside their own quiet lives.

From the pool for of those who are interested in politicks some hate it, some don't care one way or the other and some are fully supporting it without the need to participate in them and some those few percent of the populace not only organize them with their own money but take part in them.

Are they paying for the policing and security costs?

No, they aren't. We're paying for it - Polish taxpayers.

Ah, watching nationalists march hand in hand with Duda is going to be a beautiful sight. For someone who claimed he would be "President of all the Poles", he's now going to be forever associated with fringe nationalists.

Couldn't have asked for more, to be honest.

Please have some compassion...
And tell me what "nationalist" means. How do you know if a Pole is a "nationalist"? In just one paragraph, what do the Polish nationalists want?

France, Britain and Germany must get clear respond from Poland`s patriots. If those monstrous states tries to grab anything what is Polish, anything what is Poland`s property, Polish people will answer them with all its strengths that still flow within Poles.

And you are not alone Polish sisters and brothers. But you must be ready to fight your wars. Poland is now in trap that is NATO membership and EU membership is not far from it to be trap. In such a situation, you Poles must show 100% desire to defend Poland and then, only then, you can count on support from Slavic countries. You must pay the price. When your suffering is clear, when your heroic and outstanding defense is viable, your brothers will come, no matter NATO, no matter any obstacle, no matter any c***.

With eternal Sarmatia in my mind, with spirit of ancestors in my heart, I salute you from Serbia.

Velika je Poljska and will be only bigger!

You seem to be rather clueless about what fascism looks like in Poland.

Here's a clue: just like Polish communism was different to Czechoslovak or Yugoslav Communism, Polish fascism is different to Spanish or German fascism. Those of us living here and spending our lives on the Polish internet can see fine well what fascism looks like, particularly when it's used to stir up tensions with minority groups.

I am really clueless what fascism looks like in Poland. Please tell me. Specifically, what do the Polish "fascists" want? For example, is waving a Polish flag "fascism"?

youtube

I watched that video and I have to admit it gave me a lump in my throat to see all those Polish flags and the faces of true Polish patriots. I would love to be with them.

Don't be facile "Rich". Flares and racist chants, racist banners and aggression are. Anywhere in western Europe the police would give them a battering, which is what they deserve.

You don't want to be in Warsaw tomorrow. You are actually glad you're not. Like in my car crash picture, people will be wringing their hands and saying, "How did 'Robert' get his teeth smashed in.."

Or worse. Let's pray nobody is killed.

What are "racist chants" and "racist banners"? Do you know where I can see them?

By tomorrow I am sure that some posters here will have uploaded pictures from the march and you can see for yourself.

On this great day for Poland - where I see NO Pole drinking champagne (..shakes head in bafflement....) The French president was left to say it all.

"Patriotism is the opposite of nationalism."
Now, let's see the police uphold the law and limit those nationalist thugs to the backstreets, otherwise we will again be seeing ugly headlines tomorrow, on what should be a champagne day for the country.
mafketis 37 | 10,913

"Patriotism is the opposite of nationalism.

A meaningless statement unless you define the terms (the traditional .
The current fad of painting any kind of nationalism as inherently evil is very dangerous and strengthens, not weakens the real dangerous types, but Macron is a gormless creation of the bankers who want the reign of borderless capital uber alles.

What's surprising is how enthusiastically supposed 'progressives' are signing on to that agenda.

The French president was left to say it all.

Yes France have its opinion on everything. Its like that France tries to impose standards of understanding for rest of Europe and world. But see, we Slavs aren`t obliged to every French opinion.

France is one very ugly state with totally brainwashed populace, be that populace Europoid or non-Europoid in origin. All there are brainwashed. All serve and bow to France. Let them bow, poor souls, but we Slavs (ie Sarmats) are something else.

Down with France!
