Polish Independence Day March in Warsaw. Is it going to be the biggest march yet?

Exactly 74 years ago, Poland's underground Home Army (AK) carried out operation "Kutschera", executing Franz Kutschera, a high-ranking Austrian Nazi official, SS-Brigadeführer and member of the German security services, in then German-occupied Warsaw.

Nothing much to commemorate, as 300 Poles were executed in reprisal.

More importantly, glorifying such occasions results in people thinking that it's acceptable to execute political enemies.

And 20,000 were shot in the back of the head in Katyn, but that's our history Delph, no need for you to concern yourself.

Indeed. WW2 is such a perfect reason why we should be doing everything in our power to make sure that it never happens again.

All this obsessing over things like executing Germans in WW2 does nothing but keep tensions on the surface.

make sure that it never happens again.

Sadly it don't seem to be going that way, latest news arms treaty falls to bits possibility of nukes in Poland, good luck with that , I for one have had a great life it's all down hill from here for me so no worries, I'm just sorry for you kids.

Maybe not my generation, but I'm deeply worried about the next one.

Then again, look how Yugoslavia fell apart in the space of 5 years. I even found documents from the CIA in 1990 that said that they didn't expect full on war to break out, and that's what really scares me.

@Spike31

Do you see what you are up against on this forum?
A load of leftie progressive morons spouting their hatred and idiocy.
I understand what made you make that post.
This idiot didn't.

Thankfully my father was not an officer, otherwise this would have happened to him. Instead he was taken as a POW and spent two years in Siberia...

And this is before the Soviet Union supposedly joined WWII. And then all of a sudden they are our 'allies'!

It's strange how the truth about Katyn was suppressed for so many decades and most people in Poland would not even have been taught about the massacre in their history lessons.

And it beggars belief that the new Koalicja Europejska continually babble on about PiS wanting closer links with Russia. Russia has been responsible for a 50 year repression of Poland, including pillaging the country and killing 100,000s of citizens. Who in their right mind would want closer links with Russia? Didn't Lech Kaczynski warn about Russian aggression against its Western neighbours before he was assassinated?

Yugoslavia was a false country with no history. It's amazing that Tito managed to keep it together for as long s he did.

It was made up a six separate countries each with their own language, culture and history. It not at all surprising it fell apart.

I can't even imagine how difficult it was to administer as a unit.

I can clearly remember my father and uncles telling me never to believe the lies about Katyn,"it was not The Germans,it was The Russians" they told me......it was many years later that the truth came out and I understood the knowledge and honesty of my family.

And in years to come people will remember being told never to believe the lies about the 'Russian Collusion' :-)....

I doubt that the U.S. will be able to station additional nukes in Europe. Times have changed since Reagan managed to get Pershing II into Western Europe against the will of the people. Won't happen again, especially not under Trump.

My view of the Russian Collusion or Interference is that electing US presidents is too critical to be left in the hands of the American voters who gave us Obongo. Twice. That is why the Russians had to do something.

I apologize for going off the subject, bit it's all bolek's fault.

I agree. Ends justify the means... if it did indeed happen it got Trump into office so that's great...

Its pathetic how the left keeps whining about this when the US has interfered in dozens upon dozens of elections around the world. It's karma pure and simple. You can't **** with someone's **** and expect them not to reciprocate.

The real comedy is their fake indignation during some hearings on the Hill. In the room next to that, some other idiots rip into Trump because he wants to interfere less in Iraq and Syria.

Not 'some idiots' Rich, it's Zionist Jews and their shills from both parties. Nothing unifies democrats and republicans like shilling for Israel.

I expected nothing more from a submissive type as yourself, delphiandomine :-) Well, maybe a little bit of respect for a history of a country which feeds you.

Do you see what you are up against on this forum?

Have courage, Miloslaw. It's just a margin of a margin

Well, maybe a little bit of respect for a history of a country which feeds you.

Respect is telling the full story, which is that the actions of a few led directly to the death of 300 Poles. Was it worth it? Probably not.

It's just a margin of a margin

Just like Korwin's 0.5% in the last Rzepa poll!

But in the West it was well known even straight after the war that the Soviets were responsible for Katyn - it was discussed at the time of Nuremberg and there was a congressional report on it in the early 50s. It was lied about in Poland because Poland was a dictatorship

I've never heard of a single Pole who actually believed it wasn't the Soviets - there were things said in public, but even during my first visit (1980s) I was told it was the Soviets. I know of no evidence that Poles ever believed anything else...

...but that didn't stop the American left from continuing the "it was the Germans" lies well into the fifties. They also loved Stalin and Mao.

Auschwitz-Birkenau, Dachau, Priebke's massacre of over two-hundred innocent Roman civilians, the barbarities perpetrated on local citizenry, above all Jews, by the Einsatzgruppen throughout Eastern Europe were lies??

Those and similar atrocities were not committed by Russians or by Poles, but by Germans ONE HUNDRED PERCENT!!!
Furthermore, the American Jewish Congress could by no stretch of the imagination be termed "liberal left:-)

My favourite "philanthropists" is concerned:

"EU will dissolve like Soviet Union unless Europeans 'wake up', George Soros said"

voiceofeurope.com/2019/02/eu-will-dissolve-like-soviet-union-unless-europeans-wake-up-george-soros-said/

I'd say that it's slowly started to dissolve exactly because people are waking up

These sad europhiles really need to wake up.....
The most amazing thing, for me,is that Soros compared The EU to The USSR......maybe not completely fair, but they do have some similarities. ....

Well that's a good thing. Hopefully we either never wake up or wake up more, whatever collapses the EU and keeps the Muslim occupied societies at bay

above all Jews, by the Einsatzgruppen throughout Eastern Europe were lies??

No just extreme exaggerations which can be proven by simple arithmetic and numerous sources including red Cross records, census records, University encyclopedias, etc. We've heard the 'six million's before already. Before WW2 it was Russia. Yawn....

At least more and more of the goyim either don't care or don't know nowadays.

Unions of ethnically different countries do no last. Eventually, there will be winners and losers and the losers will put up with bullshit only for so long.

That is unless the winners create a two class society and have the cajones to enforce it like the wealthy gulf states. That's why like in uae citizens sit on their ass making six figs at government jobs 'working' 20 hour weeks with everything for free healthcare, education, etc because they make 2/3 of the country's residents work for them and don't give them citizenship.

Europeans are too concerned about being Mr nice guy and helping people who are clearly inferior. It's quite sad. Our ancestors are rolling in their graves with what Europe has become with Charles the hammer Martel and Sobieski making the most noise.
