Polish men are complete doormats (especially after they get married)

I was always amazed by polish women desire to stay at home literarilly stuck on you craving for endless physical contact. It was like a combo find him-close him at home-bang him endlessly-become pregnant-marry him.Ah these polish kochanies.

that is so not true. it's quite the opposite of that actually.

Wrong. The OP's opinions were correct. A lot of ex-pats in Poland have similar observations. You even have the word 'pantoflarz' to describe these submissive wuss bags.

It's not like the term "***** whipped" came from nowhere either..

First date huge silly turn off's in order of importance:
1) Man not opening doors, carrying bags, etc
2) Man sweating because they are nervous (uhg! horrible)
3) Small hands/funny voice

I know of many girls rejecting guys for the very first reason.

A couple of days ago the Chicago Tribune had an interesting article by Lisa Pavtzow titled; "Looking just for Mr. Right is still the wrong move".

chicagotribune.com/news/local/ct-x-0312-balance-column-20100312,0,5431404.story

From the article: "In a survey, women told ... that getting 80 percent of what they wanted in a mate would be "settling." Men, on the other hand, called finding a woman with 80 percent of what they wanted "a catch." All they really looked for on the first date was someone reasonably cute, kind and interesting to talk to. The women came up with a list of 300 deal breakers. For these women, settling meant accepting not much less than everything,"

Yes indeed ladies; you are so "entitled".....and proof that men are much more reasonable.

I think it is the way they are programmed. There is something in them that makes them want to evolve the species to a higher level. Men on the other hand, just want to procreate period.

... so they end in 40ies, single, childless. yeah, waiting for Mr. Perfect is so species-evolving!

That's poppycock! You sound like a mangina.

I think it is the way they are programmed.

Now you've got something. Women are indeed programmed by our "politically correct" institutions to feel 'entitled'. That's one reason why women marry up much more frequently than men. That's another reason why women expect diamond rings when they become engaged. ... that's why weddings are much more focused on the female who prefers to be the center of attention;... the list goes on (when you think about it).

Women are indeed programmed by our "politically correct"

I think they were programmed long before the creation of political correctness. Back in the pioneer days, women chose their men based on their ability to provide. Not much has changed, other than the fact men aren't required to cut down a forest, build a log cabin, clear a field of rocks, plant a field of crops, learn animal husbandry etc. The game has changed. Now we are required to bring home a big fat pay check instead.

That's one reason why women marry up much more frequently than men.

The real reason is because women have what men want. Why settle for second best, given what is at stake?

I think they were programmed long before the creation of political correctness.

That's true and in a previous thread I noted that much of this is evolutionary. Problem is, with feminism and "PC" things have gotten much worse and women are now also told that they are "empowered" (how I hate that word in any kind of usage) and they are told they can "have it all". This is delusional but the 'feel good' aspect blinds women. That's also why there is a mini-marriage strike in the U.S as more and more men are sick and tired of their irrational demands.

That article by Lisa Pavtzow, a female writer is spot on although she states it more gently than I do.

The real reason is because women have what men want.

With or without cellulite?

.sorry, i shouldn't be laughing....

That's alright, you're a feminist so you don't know better.

I don't laugh at people who are in a relationship where they are picked on or verbally abused. You do, so judge for yourself as to how low you are.

Speaking of womanly entitlements, here is an interesting case.

ifeminists.com/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.587

From the link: "29-year-old Eric Williamson says he walked into his kitchen to make coffee. Since he was home alone, he didn't bother getting dressed. A woman and a young boy walking outside saw Williamson through the window and called police. Investigators then arrested Williamson because they believe he wanted people outside to see him naked. But Williamson says that's not the case. He says he should be able to walk around naked in the privacy of his own home. If convicted, Williamson could face up to a year in jail and a $2,000 fine."

"I note that the man's name is disclosed; in some stories his photo is included. I note the woman is given anonymity even though she cannot be considered off-limits -- e.g. as a rape victim. This gender bias is typical in the reporting of most sex incidents.

--the arrest is also typically gender biased. If a man had made the same call about a woman who was naked in her own home, he would have been arrested as a Peeping Tom.

--the woman was trespassing on Williamson's property -- she cut across his front yard -- yet no charges were brought against her"

Absolutely! That's not even an issue ...but that doesn't change the fact that you laugh at people who are verbally or otherwise abused. I don't and no other poster here has either which puts you at the lowest of the low. At least you're number one in something, despicable as it is.

On the other thread we are portrayed as a abusive, aggressive macho men. Now we suddenly become "doormats". I just can't imagine how difficult for one's it would be to be both. :)

Your post #39 where you state; "hahahahaha....ahem...sorry, i shouldn't be laughing...."

please, speak for yourself...

Since you are the only poster who enjoyed the poor guy being picked on by his wife while no other poster has, it is most appropriate to show the evidence as it exists. Hopefully, you are not paid for your logic at your place of employment. Do you have a job where thinking isn't important? Perhaps you work for the government?

get a life...

I say, get laid, he's frustrated and keeps calling women feminists because he aint gettin' any :D

To Zimmy...Women can have it all...Loving partner, family, children, education, great job...everything..Obviously not all acheive this and sacrafice certain things, it doesnt mean they aren't happy...Just the same as a lot of men dont want kids or a full time responsible relationship...My friend spent 5 years in a relationship, she is a lawyer dating a lawyer...he decided to tell her 9 months ago that he really never wanted to have children but didnt want to lose her (he knew she really wanted a large family - not just one or two!)...what a deceitful cvnt..he took 5 years of her life, she now has to start again...

Is that all you can think about? Do try to elevate your level of discourse and at least try not to concern yourself with my sex life. I know it's difficult but really, try.

he decided to tell her 9 months ago that he really never wanted to have children

Deceit is a terrible thing but I don't feel like discussing the many times (some) women purposefully got pregnant when they weren't supposed to. Wealthy men in particular are vulnerable.

Girls, are you brought up in this country expecting men to be like this?
Men get some balls and stand up to her. Try it once, she might even like it.

not in this house, welsh fella, my wife likes it when i spank her hard, sometimes she misbehaving just to feel my open palm on her firm bum. she is Polish by the way.

I think that the instinct to drink in summer is higher and the doormat issue isn't as visible. Men are to stay at home and warm their women up in winter.

There are more doormats among Polish men than in an IKEA warehouse. There are also bad boy types too, but a lot of Polish girls tend to go with the safer, more boring option when it comes to dating. A friend of mine from Greece was quite shocked to see so many guys being submissively led by the hand in clubs in Krakow.

Yes,polish women although submissive later impose on you and the master/slave relationship gets reversed. The devils.

But how many foreign guys do you see cowering behind their Polish girlfriends with a flower in hand? A foreign guy in Poland, especially a mediterranean, would have to be a real p***y to allow that sort of relationship to develop.

Hm,polish girls are extreme. You have to be extremely romantic or extremely spending it is difficult to explain. In Mediteranean we are measured we balance. In Poland they have extreme passion or whatever so by their behaviour a Mediteranean can become submissive because he tries to comply.

Zimmy, knock it off, people get married together!! are you telling people that women
want rings?? how did you get married Zimmy?? did you pay the guy standing in front
of a gumball machine?? or did you go out and buy this ring ( because you were brought
up by your parents morals) to first date, then become official, then once things are
well planned out to eventually buy a ring ( because it means something) <~least its
supposed to.

all the weddings I know the men have a really good time having a bachlor party
renting a limo and heading to the nearest stripper bar or having one come to their
home or having a few of them come to their home..

its tradition, and theres plenty of women who are married that hated the whole planning
thing, its focused around the woman because most men dont know how to plan a
wedding and dont want to..

and in alot of weddings the brides parents do most of the planning and paying
anyways.

Zimmy, knock it off,

I've already hit it out-of-the-ballpark.

are you telling people that women
want rings??

Well, duh!

how did you get married

There was this priest and he was in a church and this woman was waiting in front of the alter all dressed in white and ............

ring ( because it means something)

Yep, it means the woman is the center of attention. It's in your genes.

the men have a really good time having a bachlor party

home or having a few of them come to their home..

How spiritual. ...brings a tear to my eye.

so you didnt get a ring zimmy? no wonder your so angry.

so you didnt get a ring zimmy?

That begs the queston; why do women get the big diamond and men don't? ...which corresponds with women 'needing' to be the center of attention in this and in so many other venues.

no wonder your so angry

Madam, I doth not bellow for I am quite the mellow fellow.

I thought you were full of cement!!

I suspect there is more steel in me. The rest is composed of empathy, optimism and of course my two favorites; logic and modesty.

ts good to see you coming to grips with your inner feelings

Feelings need to be gripped otherwise they grip you.
Besides, any mental activity is easy if it doesn't take reality into account.
