Can you please explain to me what are the Pros or advantages of getting married in Poland in terms of paying taxes, health care, government assistance, insurance and etcetera. Is it better to get married than stay single? And in case I want to divorce my spouse in the future how difficult it is? What are the disadvantages?

In your case, NO, stay single, you are not ready for marriage.

@johnny reb Come on, it's not about me. My question is put of curiousity so please just answer it without attacking me.

@Joker again it is not about me. I know that they are some people who go for marriage of convenience and it is not all about love. I just want to know the reality versus expectations. Will it be cheaper to live in terms of paying taxes and other benefits when you are married?

My question is put of curiousity

All I can say is meet his family, If you can deal with them then ok, otherwise run, at the end of the day they will be the ones in charge of the marriage, that's the way it works in Poland.

She more concerned about taxes. Perhaps, she should talk to his accountant first? LOL

@johnny reb Come on, it's not about me.

Then why did you say that it was ?

And in case I want to divorce my spouse in the future how difficult it is?

When you said 'I' one would have to say that it is about you.

just answer it without attacking me.

Please explain how I am attacking you, please !
If you are asking questions about "getting a divorce" before you even get married then you are obviously not ready to get married.
That is a fact, not an attack, Love.

paying taxes, health care, government assistance, insurance and etcetera

Married couples can fill their tax reports jointly and have some perks there. They cannot also sign someone to their health insurance (e.g. you work and your husband stays at home he can be still insured ). Of course you also gain the right to get the medical info and consent to treatment in case your spouse is in hospital (although not like on american movies :)). Obviously inheritance.

It's also easier to get mortgage.

nd in case I want to divorce my spouse in the future how difficult it is? What are the disadvantages?

It's not especially easy. Not that hard either. Everything acquired during marriage is split in two. If the marriage broke up due to one side fault that person can pay dearly.

P.S. Don't pay attention to the idiots

@Lenka Thank you Lenka. Finally I got a very helpful answer. Why is it easier to get mortgage in Poland if you are married? And the health insurance, is everyone has to have health insurance or is it just optional? And as you said if your spouse is not working and just stays at home he or she gets your insurance benefits.

Why is it easier to get mortgage in Poland if you are married?

Because a couple has a bigger chance to pay it off than a single person. A couple with kid/kids will be even more motivated to pay it off.

Pawian explained the mortgage. Now as to the health insurance you don't have to have one (as a citizen, foreigners have different rules I believe) but of course it's advisable to have one

People look mad or sad. Lots of alcoholics

hahaha it is natural. Alcoholics are either mad or sad about their addiction. They would like to give it up, but can`t. Hence, they are torn by such mixed emotions.
