Why do so many Polish girls dye their hair BLACK?

I noticed the trend while visiting Poland. Some of the females with dyed black hair are very light complected. In addition, they also dye their eyebrows black. Too must of a contrast imo. Have to give them credit though, for sporting their own hair. I've seen other women, who have nasty-looking hair extensions. Kind of resembles horse hair. You can smell the stench a mile away, announcing their arrival...

Just stick to your natural haircolour. Besides, you don't want to risk going bald when you're about 45, right? (I mean, it's bad enough for a man, but for a woman it really is the end of the world!)

Some like it black, some don't. It's not that common, it depends on the region/person/etc. Most of my friends dye their hair to blond/brown/red shades.

coz it makes them feel good or makes them look good, gives them confidence, or maybe it's just to cover up some grey hair.

As pgtx will tell you, I do mention my wife quite a bit but I try not to discuss her by going into detail. I don't think she would accept the label 'satanist' in its entirety, Zeti, but part of her definitely identifies with their ideology. We were on our way back from Aberdeen and we met a Polish guy who was miffed that she wasn't Catholic. She has a black metal book about satanists. A mad bunch indeed! Black suits the mood. It's rebellious and sinister. It doesn't stop at the hair either, of course.

I agree 100% with you maybe because I am a blonde and will always be a blonde no matter what's the current trend.

Jet black works very well to bring out bright eyes.

Because they want to look like crows....I like crows, I have dyed my hair black on a few occasions.

Its just a popular thing to do... Polish people like to try out American and western fads and fashions... skateboards, baggy jeans, video games, etc. and now black hair.. it will fade away once people realize it takes so much time and money to dye your hair consistently, not to mention the damage to your hair

I had a huge crush on this blonde girl in school.

I saw her about a year ago & she dyed her hair black & I was so pissed that she ruined her beautiful hair.

I have seen a bunch of other Blonde girls dye their hair black.

I personally think it is just another step in the "White guilt self hatred propaganda machine"

Most of Polish girls aren't blondes, they are something between dark blonde and brunette.

Over the last few years, having black hair is becoming more common. Quite a few actresses in soaps in the uk currently have this look and it does suit them. It makes their eye colour stand out more too.

All looks are good, it be boring if we all looked identical.

I think black too is becoming out of style, brown, redish brown seeing many girls with that recently.

I think Polish women are tired of being Polish. So they dyed their hair black.

1. They wanted to look Italian because they want to marry Italian men and have their babies. Move to Italy.

2. They wanted to look French because they want to marry French men and so they can move to France and have children there.

3. They wanted to look Spanish because they wanted to go South American or Spain and have chaildren with them too.

When Polish Women get tired of their lifes and will come back home to Poland. They have very good Taste Of Lifes!

Actually, there's been a study done on hair color in Poland and it's pretty even with about half of Poles falling under blond/dark blond/light brown and the other half falling under medium brown/dark brown/black.

One thing I find weird about this site is that some people on here try to make it seem like Poles have a monolithic look which is far from the truth. The Polish population consists of many different looks. Get over it.

Maybe it's because i'm Scottish and she is trying to join the clan, to be fair she does look good with that colour.

#1 - Either Strawberry Blonde or Auburn (hard to tell from the lighting, Auburn is darker than strawbery blonde)
#2 - Dirty Blonde (a commonly used slang term for dark blonde hair)
#3 - Blonde
#4 - Light Brown
#5 - Dirty Blonde

Btw, most English speakers won't know what you are talking about if you say "mousey". It's not a commonly used term.

erm, BTW,erm, Mousey is a very common term over here eh....my hair is Mousey,its only hairdressers that call it blonde.
