Gun control in Poland: should Polish people be allowed to own guns?

250-pound guy can throw across the street and just walk away...

at that weight he would get sciatica every time he tried to throw something and would just limp away.

Not going to pretend the UK doesn't have its problems with crime but changing the gun laws here made a difference.

How would it end?

Badly for him, given a. how well the police there are trained and b. it's not Wyoming where the nearest response team is 50 miles away.

changing the gun laws here made a difference.

I doubt any of us have heard anyone there (except the occasional farmer) say this was anything other than the right move.

That makes your craphole not much better than any other -ism.

What communists and fascists do the moment they seize power is strip their victims of the right to speak freely and defend themselves. I know because I used to live in an -ism before I left for the one country where I can do both - freely and without fear of being visited by the Thought Police.

Not a single American was ever convicted for expressing the wrong opinion. If you know one. please let me know who that is.

In your gulag, you have no First and Second Amendments; therefore, no freedom of speech and the means to protect yourself. A frying pan is not it.

This makes you into subjects, if not objects, at the whim of your owners, your upper class of globalist scum with badly fvcked up priorities - migrants, Ukrainians, and dead last - your own people. That's why you, Brits, hate Trump, "America First" and the borders now closed.

As far as those Americans applying for UK residency...They will be coming back...unless they get stabbed to death by one of the followers of the religion of peace and love.

The nearest response team is 50 miles away

It takes one minute to kill a family of four, genius...Even with a knife. Police everywhere are merely body counters, not protectors. Grow up...

Is every Euro a moron in need of adult supervision?

To be honest I'm not sure what point your rambling post is about, but a change in the gun laws here stopped school shootings and saved lives, something that's never going to happen in the US. You keep telling yourself that all those mass shootings and dead kids are worth it for the right to bear arms.

You keep banging on about 'freedom' but to me you're all living in fear.

but a change in the gun laws here stopped school shootings and saved lives,

...just as change of address stops all gun violence and drunk driving...

It's called a prison.

You keep banging on about 'freedom' but to me you're all living in fear.

No fear in my life. And I don't even carry a gun. Never did. Never will...

Communism - no free speech, no guns

Fascism - no free speech, no guns

EU - no free speech, no guns...Migrants and knives - OK.

No fear in my life. And I don't even carry a gun.

But you keep banging on about home invasions and the number of guns you have in your home which makes me think you're talking out of your arse to be honest.

How many kids dead from gunshot wounds are too many Novi? How many more mass shootings are acceptable? Please give exact numbers.

He is talking out of his arse......

He won't answer you, because he can't.......

The fact is that the American liberal laws on guns cause death..... end of.

I don't give a fvck how many kids died from guns.

Mine didn't. That's all that matters to me. When I bought my first gun, I showed them where it was and told them to never touch it or they will get hurt. They never did.

My family and I are not part of the gun statistics. Your stupidity is not my liability.

Children should not play with guns. This is true for many throughout their lives, because they never go beyond the level of a child.

because they never go beyond the level of a child.

It's a paradox that the people who actually want guns are generally the last people who should have them.

who actually want guns are generally the last people who should have them.

"Generally" because you don't know anybody like this...

There are millions of morons who should never have cars, bikes, knives, baseball bats, ropes, drugs, sharp objects, or fists...

Also.. there are millions who should not have AIDS-infected penises - the second most deadly weapon a man can have...and the most hideous since the target doesn't know what's coming his way...

On my island, as a condition of treatment, men with AIDS would have their deadly penises cut off and "AIDS" tattooed on their foreheads.

Safety is important.

It's a strange sort of individual who would collect guns. They must be very weak that they fetishise weapons.

It's a strange sort of individual who would collect guns.

No weirder than collecting stamps or trainspotting or lots of other weirdo hobbies....

In the US gun collectors almost never commit gun crimes. Gang members and suicides make up the lion's share of gun crime.

It seems pretty weird to me. Even wanting those things. I don't mean antique pistols or muskets, more assault rifles and semiautomatics.

Do you know that film. Maybe called Tremors, about ten giant worm u der the desert.

It seems pretty weird to me.

Because YOU are weird...Normal people love guns. That's why when in trouble, we often call guys with guns, not priests or social workers..

LA 1992:

The 1992 LA riots were sparked by the acquittal of police officers in the Rodney King beating case and the shooting of Latasha Harlins by a Korean store owner.

In the absence of adequate police protection, many Korean business owners, particularly in areas like Koreatown, armed themselves to protect their stores from looting and violence. This often involved individuals on rooftops with firearms, including rifles

Duh!

So in Europe there is an abnormal majority.
jon357  72 | 24432

majority

Exactly.

Their obsession with guns is hard to figure out. It leads to a stratospherically high gun crime rate. It's as if they permanently live in fear.

There are even stories of Jehovah's Witnesses knocking on doors and being shot, and people being shot when they stop their car in the countryside and call at someone's house to ask for directions .

And they can't figure out (or pretend not to figure out) that we don't want this in Europe.

Fortunately most people over there are not like the demented geriatric clowns and ex-jailbird felons that come here to troll.

Their obsession with guns is hard to figure out.

It is easy to understand their obsession with guns; it relates to the principle of freedom. You are not truly free if you are not allowed to bear arms or if you are subjected to taxes without your consent. Once the right to bear arms is compromised, freedom is significantly diminished
The other is already gone under the guise of representation. Then those totalitarians and control freaks go after the guns.

Then those totalitarians and control freaks go after the guns.

Did I say I love you, Iron?

As fas as your brilliant post...All of the above plus one more:

The average police response to a 911 call in the United States is 12 minutes.

That's one number to remember.

The other: We have 1 million house invasions.

That's why I have two guns. Loaded and ready to go in less than 3 seconds...Both with lights and lasers...

But that is still not enough...A gun is useless if you don't hate...I practice hate every day just as I practice shooting several times a year.

Then those totalitarians and control freaks go after the guns.

Yup, they keep raising the bar to stay in control of the people that elected them and are suppose to be serving.
The Second Amendment does, however, reinforce the rule of law and anti-tyranny structure of the US Constitution, by ensuring the government cannot disarm the people.
And that has worked just fine in the last 250 years.

In most of Europe, heavy gun control is the will of the people. A reason why parties who support weak gun control don't win votes.

the US Constitution

It means nothing in Europe.

Anyway, we're talking about Poland, and there is no significant movement to change the present law.

It means nothing in the Great United States.
, we're talking about Poland, and there is no significant movement to change the present law.

This why we Americans are enlightening them about individual rights to protect their families, homes and rights in the near future.
And it is coming to Poland just like every other country in the world, just hang on for a few more years.
Prepare for the worst and hope for the best is called survival of the fittest.
Which brings us back to, "if you don't want a gun, then don't own one but don't be telling other people who want one they can't have one."

That has nothing to do with Poland or anywhere else in Europe.

You aren't. We are more developed in Europe and not interested in a society with so much gun crime and such a high murder rate.

We've seen how your "freedom" works: daily shootings and paranoia. Keep your sick Wild West fantasies where it belongs. Stuffed up your obese arses and far far away from Poland or anywhere else in Europe.

Anyway, we're talking about Poland, and there is no significant movement to change the present law.

There is, it is not about weaker control but about easier access to guns for those who want them.

More rinse and repeat that has already been put to rest.

That would depend on who is telling the story.

Typical for you when you are losing a debate to get nasty.
