Hi everyone,

I know there are a lot of posts related to the Karta Pobytu, but I cannot find an specific answer to my case.

I am currently living and working in Poland since 2011 and I am an Italian citizen. I will get married with my girlfriend in a few days, she is from Argentina and the marriage will be in Argentina too. We have a one month baby.

I have a company registered with my name in Poland and I am paying taxes and ZUS. My work contract is until 31 December and I think it will be extended for 2013 too. I have NIP number, but not PESEL.

How can I process the residence card for her? What kind of documentation do I have to have? I have never registered myself in Poland, only my company with my name and with my current address in Warsaw.

Thank you all and I hope you can help me.

Best regards!

Witam!
The best thing is to go to the administration for foreigners (in Warsaw it's on ul. DÅ‚uga 5) and ask. You know there are rules but also every situation can be different.

Thank you very much for your reply Warszawette, which are the basic rules?

I hope someone who was in a similar position could help me.

Merged: Polish Residence card - Is it possible for me to collect card on behalf of my wife?

My wife have applied for residence card, due health issues she needs to go back to country of origin. Is it possible for me to collect card on behalf of her?

Thanks

Yes. There's a paper confirming that a person can entirely apply and receive resident card on behalf of another person. You will need your wife's passport number and her signature. You can ask for that paper in Immigration office (same place that your wife applied for the card). Good luck!

What do you in this case with the personal interview - I suppose they still do exist (they did in my time)?
