UK, Ireland / Homeless Poles living on barbecued rats and alcoholic handwash? [62]

Well that would depend entirely on whose figures you prefer to use. The governments figures claim 464 people are sleeping rough in England. The UK government's definition of homeless is someone who is actually "bedded down" in a sleeping bag. These are the only ones counted. Someone sitting up in a sleeping bag, or standing alongside their bedding is not counted. These figures have even been massaged to the extent that the local autorities have been accused of not counting those that are lying down but have their eyes open.

Crisis, (The homeless Charity) who maintain thier own records and a database of names say the number in the region of 3500 in London alone!!

Sleeping Rough is defined differently to homeless.

In the first quarter of 2010, there were around 65,000 homeless households in temporary accommodation in Great Britain. (This does not include those voluntary homeless)

Crisis, has estimated that there are 380,000 hidden homeless households in the UK at any one time. The majority of these households are single homeless.

UK, Ireland / Homeless Poles living on barbecued rats and alcoholic handwash? [62]

cardboard city at the embankment in london was here way before the polish was an way before we joined the EU ...

Asolutely!!

Up until recently 60% of the registered homeless (UK Wide) were ex members of HM Forces.

Welcome to GREAT britain!!!!!

WTF??

And you dont think this happens in Poland? Or Germany? Or France? Or Belgium ...Ad Infinitum....

In fact, as I pass through Gare du Nord on Monday morning i'll take some shots of the families living in the station itself or the army of beggars stood on the steps, or then I could jump off the tram at Liedts and take some shots of the 20 or so guys that gather there almost daily.

But its only happening in Britain right??

And of course the authorities are duty bound to house them, wean them off thier alcoholism and give them a job, because thats exactly what I could expect if I found myself in the same situation in Poland.

IGNORANT TWOT!!!

Incidentally, In the interests balanced journalism it may have been worth giving the comparative stats of UK homeless.

Love / What do Asian boys think about Polish girls? :) (and vice versa) [150]

You are on the wrong forum mate, go join stormfront or the EDL site. You offer absolutely no help whatsoever to any topic here and are quite frankly just spamming and people are going to soon start ignoring you and your sad little comments.

More arrogance.....17 posts and you presume to speak for the Forum as whole.

Do yourself a favour lad, wind your neck in.

we are ALL the same,

Then why did you refer to the English as if you weren't on of them.

This whole "Them" and "Us" culture is what's fueling the social unrest between different minority groups

Again I reiterate my point. Why did you refer to the English as if you weren't one of them.

One second you are 'typically English' apart from the skin colour the next minute you refer to the English as drunken thugs lacking class, culture and an openess or understanding of other religions.

I am accutely aware of the many great aspects of being British, like racial and religious tolerance, the very tolerance and acceptance of other religions that affords other races and religions to build minarets that adorn the skylines of British cities. Likewise, I'm accutely aware of my countrymen's failings but I don't come on this board making derisory comments about the country of my birth.

You are a jumped up little 18 year old with zero life experience and you have the audacity, yes arrogance to puport to know the British as a whole and make disparaging comments in an attempt to distance yourself and try to curry favour.

So whats it to be. British? Warts and all.....Or British in passport only??

Oh and I don't read the tabloids, I can't turn the pages because of my injured knuckles that drag on the floor.

18 year old 3rd generation Asian.

If we are all the same then why did you refer to yourself as a West Midlands Asian and not a British Englishman of Asian descent????

Life / Legal Graffiti Walls in Poland? [45]

Personally I HATE HATE HATE HATE the vast majority graffiti.

Banksy's stuff is clever and artistic.

Indeed, there are some areas here in Brussels that look really great, the tunnels leading to the atomium along the 23/24 tram route. Its strategically placed and doesnt contrast or damage the buildings.

Conversely something like a Legia Warsaw logo or someones name sprayed on the side of someones house/apartment block is retarded and criminal.

Love / Fell in love; I need to go back to Poland for 2 months - what to say at work (UK) [50]

Here's a quote for you both:

"Love isn't finding a perfect person.
It's seeing an imperfect person perfectly." (Sam Keen)

I have another one for you.....

"Love isn’t finding someone you can live with....
.....its finding someone you can’t live without."

Danka

I'm at work right now. To offer some advice based on my experiences would take some time and i'm very busy but i will try later today.

News / Poland hosts lowest proportion of foreigners in the EU [115]

Harry:
Whereas 31.9 million foreigners are living in the EU -

Is that legal immigrants? I very much doubt those figures are correct...They reckon we have at least 2 million in the UK that are under the radar.

If you are taking a trip to Brussels sometime soon. Its a sight to behold.

Gare Du Nord is like a immigration centre with scores of families holed up there during the colder wetter months. During the warmer periods they live in the parks.

Police in Brussels found nearly 200 Indians in different houses who were in Belgium illegally and living in inhuman conditions. In one house in Brussels 24 people were packed into a room of 12 meters squared.

After the raids, Belgium authorities in keeping with standard practice, released all the illegals immigrants. They were all headed for the UK.

Countless numbers of illegal immigrants from India and Pakistan have been smuggled through Belgium into the UK.

Love / Indian citizen wants to marry Polish Girl and get settled there. [107]

You English are phuckin racists. You need to become more multicultural oriented. You abused these poor people for centuries and now you want to close the doors to UK for them? That's not cool, you owe them.

Im a racist??

Tell that to my Chinese brother in law and his children, or my Afro-Caribbean brother in law and his children or my Aglo/Indian cousins, my Irish aunts and uncles or even my Polish children.

Now tell me, how did that happen in the UK if we weren't a tolerant, accomodating, multi cultural society???

The fact is the door is being closed precisely because the little island is currently host to 61.1 million people of all races, colours, creeds. She is full to bursting point. The country can hardly manage those that are there currently never mind even more.

What exactly does Britain owe India??

Love / Indian citizen wants to marry Polish Girl and get settled there. [107]

fiancée visa? what are you talking about, you said you were in a relationship. Come on get your story straight.

No, he said:

I am in relationship with a polish girl since 10 months. I and she both are ready for the marriage, Her family is also supporting so now the problem is VISA.

His written English is appalling so it would be interesting to see how he gets on with Polish, which is generally accepted as one of the most difficult languages to learn.

The fact is the doors are being closed on them in the UK. They are being priced out of university courses, and the numbers of skilled persons visa's have been slashed.

It makes me wonder, whilst the rest of the world is exporting all its jobs to India (Satyam have taken over IT in Western Europe for Mittal.)............

Why the hell are the Indians so hell bent on getting out of India??

Love / What do Polish girls think about dating Asian guys? [134]

As an Englishman I grew up with ever increasing numbers of Asians who have been present in the UK for the best part of 40 years, it's still unusual although not impossible to find a white girl with an Indian/Asian.

More unusual to find a white English girl with a Pakistani for the obvious reason that they must become subservient (Ohhh controversial) and adopt the muslim faith.

Quite often the British Indian girls are a match for the British English girls in terms of looks and so the Indian guys don't feel the need to pursue girls from a different ethnic background.

Same can't be said for the Indian girls I work with, who come straight from India, they are bearded monsters and don't take care of their appearance like the British Indian girls.

In the main the British English girls that do go with the Indian guys are usually with the Indian guys that have a bit of money.
