News / Achievements of the Tusk's Polish government [532]

Raping a child is one of the most despicable crimes one can commit. Children have been raped all over the world by the catholic clergy, and all over the world, according to the very same procedures implemented by dioceses and ecclesiastical courts, the rapist beasts were protected.

It was not a single diocese, a single bishop or a single parish, but the church on every continent, acting in an organised mafia-like style, protecting the monsters.

Those who fail to acknowledge that, or even try to defend the perpetrators, are no better than the rapists themselves. They make me sick. The only consolation is that they will have to, one day, stand in front of Our Lord Jesus Christ and answer for this monstrosity.

Which makes it commendable that the Clergymen have found it in their heart to forgive them and give them a chance, again and again.

Which allowed the criminals to continue raping children, again and again.

Are you sure "commendable" is the word you wanted to use?

Who's talking about "lynching for sins"?

I am talking about punishing for crimes commited on children. You are saying that protecting the rapist monsters was commendable which leads me to an obvious conclusion - you are either:

a) a troll, just trying to annoy people
or
b) a complete and utter sickf*ck

In both cases, there's no point arguing with you.

Life / Polish patriotic tattoos [38]

Not to mention that it's strictly forbidden in the Bible ("You shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead or tattoo yourselves: I am the LORD.", Leviticus 19:28), and most of those "patriots" probably consider themselves Christian. :)

You keep claiming that protecting child rapists from just punishment is "commendable". That tells me that you are everything but redeemed by Christ. You are dead in your sins and God turns His face away from you in disgust.

The board is infested with trolls today. Trolls and reprobates.

*praying...*

Oh, Lord, please make Oathbreaker and James123 - two staunch paedophile defenders and reprobates dead in their sins - see your eternal light and come to faith in Jesus Christ. Please save them by your mercy, Lord. AMEN.

Travel / Polish people have a weird attitude torwards tourists [83]

If you want to converse with the locals and not make them roll their eyes, don't ever say, "expatiated".

Exactly. Language is, first and foremost, a communication tool, as I have -- on this very board -- on multitudinous occasions expatiated. :D

I was just kidding. :) English has great potential to turn from an ugly and vulgar tongue into something very aesthetically pleasing and elegant when the writer/speaker is skillful with his style and choice of words. I am definitely not a keen admirer of this common language, but even I have to admit that when it is used by writers like P.G. Wodehouse, Kingsley Amis, John Mortimer or Hector Hugh Munro it can give one a certain measure of linguistic satisfaction.

Off-Topic / Leftist idiocy rampant in the West [470]

Biology teacher in Alcala de Henares (Spain) has been suspended and his salary was cut for teaching children that from biological point of view there are only two genders (male - XY chromosomes, and female - XX chromosomes). The teacher said that transgender people exist but even if they perform a surgical "gender change" their chromosomes are still identical with their birth gender and there is no scientific way to change that.

The teacher was suspended for half a year and his monthly salary was decreased by 600 euro.

Whatever next? Geography teacher suspended for claiming that the Earth is round? :)

Klinefelter syndrome

That's a medical condition - I suppose the teacher meant the ordinary, healthy organisms.

And isn't the Eart flat?

Of course it is! Otherwise the soles of our shoes would have to be rounded but they are flat. Checkmate, roundearthers!

Next is Poland. The same things will happen here.

I don't know about that. There is still too much common sense in our people for that to happen here.

How dare you - you homophobe, transphobe, patriarchal racist!!!

If you can`t, it means you are all obsessed.

Travel / What is the weather like in Poland where you are now? [185]

My wife is from Masovia and when I visited her in her parents' house in the summer I remember that it was always 4-5 degrees more than by the sea (and no sea breeze). It felt like visiting Africa :)

Tricity is probably the best place to live in Poland (and it's not just my local patriotism) - agglomeration with over 1.2 million people but spread over a large area, so it's not really crowded - a lot of parks, hills and recreational areas, great municipal greenery all over the place, relatively clean air, a plethora of cultural, educational and economic possibilities. Unrivaled.

It happens recently, true.

Luckily it is only tourist who ever attempt to have a bath in the Baltic Sea - we, the locals, only look at them with barely concealed feeling of superiority. ;)

But Putin copies everything from Stalin

Not everything. Some time ago Putin admitted that he came back to faith and is now a practicing Orthodox Christian (something unthinkable for Stalin who persecuted the Orthodox Church in USSR). Whether Putin's faith is genuine or not, I do not know, but Stalin was a sworn enemy of religion.

I bathed in the Gdańsk bay a couple of times

Well, I suppose it's possible... if one really feels the urge. ;)

people from Tri-City go to Kashubian lakes to dip into water

I like Kashubian lakes indeed. Szarlota (near Kościerzyna) is a nice place.

All I know is that no slimy Western politician could debate Putin and not look like a retard in the first five minutes

He is rhetorically skillful, isn't he? :) He can be a likeable character, but what happens in Russia during his reign is unfortunately not so instantly likeable.

This is what I meant.

If this is what you meant, then the teacher was substantially right. Very rare medical conditions should by no means be considered separate genders (it's Klinefelter syndrome not Klinefelter gender).

And even if he forgot about those very rare medical conditions (after all he was teaching a class of teenage pupils, not lecturing at a medical university) was it really a good reason to suspend him and cut his salary? Come on...

Do you try to argue though that the teacher didn't go into it because of his personal views at the matter?

The article doesn't directly give any such information, but it says that what the teacher taught was in full accordance with the 1st grade curriculum and the official biology textbook.

If anything in the entire story was done because of personal views, it was the action of the school headmaster (of radical left origin) and the educational council inspector, which resulted in a half-year suspension of an experienced teacher (25 years of teaching), who always got positive reviews from students in internal polls conducted at the school in question.

It's very difficult to get good quality teachers

It might indeed be the case, but according to the article the teacher in question was always liked and respected by his students.

They play at home, with virtually no guest fans and they are getting vital help from the referee as well. That penalty was a gift to England. Scandalous...

What is this VAR system for?

Italians now...

They should refuse to play this game - no point. Someone decided that England is to win the championship, and referees will make sure that it happens.

Michał Listkiewicz - former international FIFA referee - is just saying on TV that there was definitely no penalty.

I wonder what the Brits paid the UEFA

It's simply a rich and influential federation, and they haven't won anything in a while...

They played all their games but one at home. As I said, ri-di-cu-lous.

Quatar anybody?

...and Russia before that. Logically North Korea and then Iran are next in line.

They aren't. They think they are the best and deserve it all (home advantage, no away fans, and "kind" referee). No embarassment there.

Schmeichel is a great penalty specialist - referee couldn't allow the game to go into penalties. And he didn't. Well done.

*ironically clapping*

There should be something in football like video challenge in volleyball or tennis (let's say two challenges a game for each team).
