Even patriotic tattoos are idiotic. Just like circumcision. It says about the wearer what may one day kill the wearer.

Yes, some inked people can be read like a book or paper. And they still remain patriotically tattooed. Amazing!

...for zero benefits. Even if it is better than Mona Lisa, a tattoo on the back is moronic since the wearer can't see it.

Self-mutilation with ink, like cutting, is self-hate or the world's dumbest way to get attention.

Not to mention that it's strictly forbidden in the Bible ("You shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead or tattoo yourselves: I am the LORD.", Leviticus 19:28), and most of those "patriots" probably consider themselves Christian. :)

But it isn`t for the wearer`s sight, it is for others`. :)


I see you haven`t changed your opinion from 2019. :) Me, either, but I had to accept tattoing coz my eldest son loves it. I think he has been doing it to prove his independence. :):)

It wasn`t the case of good or bad relationship. It is the mental problem of the eldest child who is at first the only one and then has to confront his numerous siblings, four of them. Parents` attention has to be divided onto all of them, not just the eldest one.

So, now, he is trying to get the attention that he thinks he once didn`t get from us.

That is why I cannot blame him and have to accept his tattoos.

Being an ugly American, when somebody shows off his tattoos, I have the right to say, look at that idiot. His ugly tattoo. My ugly free speech. We are even.

I told you the story of my son to help you realise that people`s motives to act this or that way in life aren`t so simple as you might think. There is sometimes a deeper meaning in their taking a tattoo decision. Reasons might go back to one`s childhood or even prenatal period. :):):)

And that is why it's your (editorial) duty to tell them that they are idiots when they are about to something idiotic - like a tattoo which, practically, is irreversible. Hiring a hooker would be better and more uplifting.
