Study / AFRICAN STUDENTS INVASION in Krakow [197]

Po polsku?
What do Americans say about your presence in the US?

They don't speak Polish. Indians (Native Americans) probably want me out.

As I've said in the chatroom - I'll give you 500zl to do this on film.

I don't understand the shock

A) Blacks can't fight
B) They would never step up to me in Poland just like I wouldn't do something to them in Nigeria.

There are lots of Black people in Poland

Haha no.

I spent 10 days in Wroclaw and I saw 1 black (male) on the street. I saw a group of blacks at a crappy Night club and told them how I felt about their presence in Polska.

Love / Any Polish Muslim girls living in Poland? [103]

Poles aren't racist. They just don't like you, your culture or way of things. They have no desire for integration. If you don't like it.....stay out. Simple isn't it?

Genealogy / Half Polish half Persian? I can't possibly be alone in the whole world with this mix? [34]

Here is the inconvenient truth about interracial mixing. Very rarely is the combination: Polish male + X. It's 80%: Polish female + X. Meaning the woman takes on the males culture and leaves Polish behind. This is probably why you don't hear much of the Polish angle. It's ignored because the womens background & upbringing is ignored or discouraged.

Love / Arabs: "Polish women are easy and stupid" [132]

A peculiar look in the eyes like they are in the sky and a muslim philosophy summarizaing in:We are all human species we are all the same I love you you love me.

This has been my experience as well. The same BS ideology "We are all humans etc". Just something that other races don't feel they need to preach.

I also have found them to be very grabby and touchy.

History / Polish conscripts to German army [132]

Dh2z, if they did in fact switch to the winning side then that would make them just like most of Europe at the time. Not as honorable but more understanding than Poles who fought Hitler only to be manipulated by the Allies multiple times. "Stupid polak"

Love / I Love a Polish Girl (I'm from India) [28]

Delph why so anti -American? what problem is it you have with our cousins from across the pond?

Whatever similarities white Americans had with white Brits, I think that is long gone now. Other than music and obsession with pop culture, I don't really see much in common. Needless to say USA is no longer white and Britian is not too far behind in that regard. So cousins? Not at all

Love / I Love a Polish Girl (I'm from India) [28]

Secondly, how can you love a girl you have only met over the internet for gods sake man grow up.

Forget it. Social Darwinism is in play. Better she leaves to India and never returns than bringing non-Polish children back.

In simplest terms, she is abandoning her culture for financial stability. It's the Westernizing of Poland. If they ever have children, the poor kids will never even know what a Kielbasa is.

Love / What do Polish girls think about dating Asian guys? [134]

"If the definition of racism is true that it is the act of recognizing differences among the races"

Where do they teach you people this load of crap. Have you ever watched the Olympics and it's celebration of cultural and racial differences?

People look "for specific cultures when we want to date someone" because some of us actually have proud and successful cultures that we would like to see continue. If you are an American, then you can't comprehend this notion.

Are you capable of seeing the difference between reproducing and raising a family with a fellow white European versus on the other hand going out of race. So that the children look nothing like native Europeans and are raised in a household with conflicting morals and values? Once a white European reproduces out of race, the family tree NEVER reverses. In broad terms, we are witnessing the steady genocide of blue/green eyed whites.

History / Should visitors to Auschwitz pay an entrance fee? [82]

To be fair it was built by the poles before the germans borrowed it and the poles did the majority of the killing without the poles it would of been a few germans trying to herd the jews in polish people need to share some blame in the events that were allowed to happen

*Yawn*

As for OP, no there should not be an entrance fee.

USA, Canada / Poles in America: How do you pronounce your Polish surname? [128]

I think some of them Americanize the pronunciation on purpose to save the embarrassment. The Polish language does sound pretty funny for Americans.

The English language sounds pretty funny for many Americans.

Genealogy / Americans of Polish descent. How many of us are on Polish forums? [216]

Polonius3

I often wonder what iis it about that cesspool that makes it so attractive to others (Europeans, Third Worlders) who are tripping over themselves to copy it ASAP.

American media is extremely influential, especially music, TV shows & movies. While Hollywood has (thankfully) lost some it's credibility and internet has allowed people access to International films, American music continues to be a driving force globally. Turn on European radio, go to a European bar etc, you will eventually hear American music.

Unless you've been to the USA, you aren't aware of the poverty. You can't comprehend how it's a nation built for cars not people. The food is extremely cheap because it's bombarded with products banned in Europe. Multiculturalism has created a society split up with countless groups not sharing any mutual goal but the one for $$$.

Since WW2, Poland has always had an unhealthy fascination with USA. While it's unrealistic to have expected the nation to take the path of Scandinavian nations, going the way of American capitalism has and will continue to have consequences. Walking into a "Hip Hop" club in Wroclaw, I was extremely troubled. I had a short conversation with the bouncer and he agreed with my opinion of wiggers. Foreingers only see the positives of the USA: the wealthy. Hell, many Americans only focus on this part of the nation.

It's understandable why 3rd World countries glamorize the USA. My father did the same in Poland (1980-1988). Overwhelming amount of Europeans that visited my family & I since the mid 1990's, viewed the USA as a great vacation spot but not somewhere they would want to live out their lives.

Genealogy / Americans of Polish descent. How many of us are on Polish forums? [216]

The older I get, the less connection I feel to the USA. I'm planning on following in the foot steps of my sister and moving back (Lived 20 years in the USA) to Europe. Maybe if the USA wasn't in free fall as a society and culture, this wouldn't be the case. But being white, having no family in the USA & not being wealthy, there is absolutely no reason to live here. I would not only be wasting my European passport but accepting a lesser quality of life.

My outlook changed roughly 8 years ago when I visited Germany for the first time. I realized most of the propaganda and nationalism I was spoon fed in American schools and media, was complete crap. I've seen first hand the improvement in Poland from 1992 to 2013 and I think Central Europe is currently the place to be. It's still relatively cheap, expanding, free but yet not over run by minorities & crime/lack of morals values. The more time I spend in Europe (3 trips in the past 7 years and considering next summer) the less I want to return to the USA. Two years ago I felt a slight bit of excitement when we touched down in Los Angeles but this summer even though I spent 3 months (Home sickness almost always kicks in) I was dreading the return. My excitement and sense of home has steadily declined as I've aged and spent more time overseas. At this point the USA feels like a small cesspool cut off from the rest of the world. It's difficult to connect with Americans that never left North America. They are fixated on the most trivial and simple aspects of life when I've experienced different cultures/lifestyles and challenged myself.

My background is growing up in a Polish spoken, taught Polish values and also moderately Catholicism home. Moved to the USA when I was 5 years old. Lived in "the finest city in America": San Diego.

Food / What's your favorite Polish beer? [870]

I believe it is Tyskie

Tyskie

I was told the formula for Zywiec changed for the negative within the past 5 years. Poland actually offers more spin off flavors "Porter, Palone, Mocne" etc than other Central European countries but it's still a Pilsner centered nation

Life / My take on Poland - My Top 10 [31]

But while is some areas the whole 2am curfew on serving may be to early as 2am isnt that late but we dont need bars to be open 24/7 and bars to still be serving drunk ass people at 6am in the morning. But it does very state to state and even communities can decide weather or not to be a dry town and such.

Eh. I agree to a point. I've seen first hand how much power the conservative right has in the USA. I grew up being able to consume alcohol on San Diego beaches. Then following some fights and childish drinking by out of state visitors on 4th of July, the alcohol was banned.

If the society is mature enough, then such regulations aren't needed. I didn't encounter any issues in Berlin although there are 24/7 hour bars, 72 straight hour open clubs and drinking out doors in public is allowed. It is the social norm that empty beer bottles are placed on the street corner next to a trash can NOT inside the trash can.

And yes this is a good thing to have as why should anyone be purchasing alcohol as 4am anyway??????

Because they work nights

I dunno, most of what you said has truth to it.

Work / What is life like in Poland for a student? [26]

Americans have very superficial and depth-less relationships with each other. Typical American conversation:
"Hey. How are you?"
"Great. How are you?"
"Great. Okay, see you later."

Discussing issues such as politics or even everyday struggles belongs behind closed doors in your own home with the windows closed shut and locked. Meaning most Americans want to live their life in ignorance to the world around them. The less they know about you and the world around them, the less they have to face reality. This is not the case in European countries and especially Central/Eastern European. It will take longer to be-friend people from these regions but the relationships are MUCH more worth while & rewarding.

Speaking Polish is crucial in Poland. If you do not, you will be looked at as a user and treated as an outsider. Poles have a deep recent history of being manipulated and controlled by outsiders so they have no desire to continue this. Hence why it remains a homogeneous nation. I do not encounter that many Polish immigrants living in Non-English speaking nations. Poles are viewed as hard working whites, so they are more accepted in Western nations. And it is true work is difficult to find etc, but the family members I have living in Poland that focused on school and worked hard, are doing well. It honestly depends on the individual and the amount of effort they put forth. My experience is that many Poles still have an unhealthy infatuation with the USA & UK. The relatives I had visit me in Southern California stated they love the area as a vacation spot but not somewhere they would want to live.

I spent time in Wroclaw the past couple months and I was impressed at how vibrant, expanding and yet not over run by immigrants the city is. It is truly a place I could see myself leaving the USA for (and plan to). Berlin, although offering me more money and bigger lifestyle, is at times too random, dirty/over run by immigrants and ultimately not a Polish city. My Deutsche needs much improvement if I plan to go that route. If you were born in Europe like myself, you have a large advantage. I know my University offers study abroad programs but not sure about Poland. I don't think I would recommend doing my degree in Poland, the education system is different and takes some getting use to. If you are American, you might find the learning curve to be quite hard at first. Europeans in college are better and more focused students, while Americans simply strive to get by while "living in the greatest nation in history of human kind"

Study / Homeschooling in Poland - possible to apply? [14]

I wouldn't recommend homeschooling. Elements like bullying and dealing with uncomfortable social atmospheres is part of growing up and into a well rounded individual

UK, Ireland / No Welfare in UK unless You are Polish [31]

The problem with establishing these sort of guidelines with welfare: drug test etc. Is that people will get money through any means possible a.k.a crime. You might as well deport them at that point.

Love / Adultery- Is it ok for Polish women [41]

Ok, but are the girls ok about adultery or not? Is it a big deal for polish girls?

Polish women are very strong and intelligent compared to others on the planet. My point was that they don't know. Do very poor and uneducated Polish women turn the other cheek and ignore the signs....sure it occurs.

Love / Adultery- Is it ok for Polish women [41]

Yeah but "man is working hard to bring food to the table". In this scenario woman accepts stuff like

"I was working late tonight"
"Sorry, I was extra tired from work. Fell asleep"
"I went out with the guys to relax"
