No, that's what happens when you face the consequences of total destruction caused by war. Hitler spared Western Europe and treated Western captive soldiers much better than Polish captives, so you don't know what destruction means and war devastation, consequences of which we Polish still feel today and rip the "benefits"of every f..... day. Capitalism would only favour Polish people economically if it was enacted on Polish terms with Polish businesses, Polish fabrics, Polish media, Polish banks, Polish infrastructure. Anyways, this is deviating from the topic. Do not make the the discussion between Eastern and Western cultures only as a battle between communism and capitalism, because this way it is simplifying it. For instance, one of the symbols of Eastern culture is its spirituality which has nothing to do with communism.

It was even harder for Polish people to save themselves, to save other Polish or to save Jews and yet Polish people did not look twice but saved anyone they could. If Korczak truly wanted to help Polish children he would have, no excuse for a man in his position. Selective help is no real help. I did not insinuate that we never smile. In general, while in public, in casual situations, we have a blank appearance. This is because it is a realistic expression reflecting the situation at hand. While walking down the street why would we have to assume stiff face, stiff appearance, angry look or all round smiling mouth? There is no reason for any of it. Blank face is the most appropriate.

We are not miserable, smiling is not a sign of happiness. In the West people smile because they are told to. In Poland we are more realistic and true to ourselves. In fact, we are a very happy bunch, our songs, our parties, our friendship ale full of joy, which is what I could not say about the stiff English and Anglo-Saxons in general or Germans or many others.

We can hold the strongest drinks and have fun , a Jew can not even drink one glass of 5% bear, shaking with fear that a rabbi will spot them or some other Jew will out them in the Jewish community, not to mention Jews have weak heads for drinking and associate drinking only with misery and loss of control. God rewards not the ones who take the easy way out and pretend to be holly by avoiding temptation but the ones who manage temptations. Polish manage very well. Jews cowardly run away from facing it.

Korczak only tried to save Jewish children and never attempted to save any Polish children. Polish children did not mean as much to him I guess. How is he a Polish hero then? Also, he wrote a charter dedicated to the protection of children; he pioneered children's rights movement mainly because he had connections - Jewish global connections, as a Polish his works, no matter how great would never gain such notoriety. His charter on children has been as much beneficial as it has been damaging and continues to cause damage to children and parents. The guy was never strong on consequences of his written word or actions. No Polish hero or any hero to me.

Let's not forget the urge of the Jews, at the beginning of the war, to join Hitler, which was what many Jews did do. The Jews hoped to share Poland with Hitler's Germany and they happily helped Hitler in overtaking Poland only to learn shortly afterwards that Hitler had other plans. Nevertheless, many Jews continued to help Hitler murder Polish (all over the place - civilians, soldiers alike) and even fellow Jews, especially in Jewish ghettos. Of course, Jewish cinema god, Rebe Spielberg - also war historian - somehow omitted that part in his one sided "masterpiece" Shindler's List. The reasons why we never hear about this is because Jews go on and on and on about their tragedies completely ignoring others, so that all focus is on Jewish, out of proportion, martyrdom, whereas when someone tries to present the other side of Jewish activities during war Jews attack them with anti-Semitism or push for prohibition of expression as it the case on this forum, hence my thread here.

And who was trying to break Poland up in the 1920s and especially 1930s? Communist parties lead by Jews, most communists were Jews and their agenda was not about human rights, gay rights, animal rights, it was about ensuring that Polish nationalism dies out, that we become part of a meddle of nations with no identity so that it will be easier to rule us. The side effect of communism was partially a good thing but incidental - focus on matters from communal point of view as oppose to looking at things through money, doing everything for profit. That is where benefit on societal morality ends when it comes to communism. Communists are not good for Poland and Jews are major players in this anti-Polish wrongdoing. Moderators should possess more intelligent judgement

We have moderators who do what they want right now because there is nobody checking what they really do, they get away with a lot of wrong stuff , for instance they choose who should be banned and who shouldn't if they don't like what one writes. I wrote something about Jews and I received a warning straight away and my thread was taken down, whereas some German (most likely German) wrote up an offensive thread about Poland and Polish people and the thread stayed on for a while, it may even still be around. However, on this forum most members don't have enough of testicular fortitude to confront that.
