I'm pretty sure that won't happen:) It really doesn't matter if the immigrants needed are from Ukraine, Lithuania Belerus or anywhere else. If they fit into society, speak the language and make a contribution to society (and have babies:D) then surely that can only be positive for Poland. The HudsonHicks' of this world are a tiny minority and should be ignored or riducled for fun:D

There doesn't seem to be inherent hatred of Ukrainians by Poles from what I see.

I'm afraid that you are wrong again. They do make a net contribution. Every time they spend money buying food, petrol, Lech (your favourite tipple I know), clothes, etc they are helping the economy and indirectly paying tax. Don't underestimate the multiplier effect. It creates a lot of jobs.


This is about 95% of Poles (including students who work PT) that I've ever met in the UK. Even mothers work, most are forced to work a different shift to their partner but do it all the same.

Yes, there are scroungers but they are a vast minority.

I think the percentage of Poles claiming housing benefit is vastly fewer than the numbers of British people claiming HB.

I imagine a lot of the income tax paid by Poles is spent on benefits claimed by British scroungers.

So there's not so much of a difference between the figures for UK born women and non-UK born women. Either way the average is 2 and that number has fallen from the previous year.

According to the OP there is about 2million Poles in the UK, so maybe 1million women...?
In 2010 there were 19,762 births of Polish parentage (his figures). So therefore about 2% of Polish women in the UK gave birth in that year.
Given that they're probably 90% in the baby-making age category, and given that many are with LTBFs or married, not a very high statistic really is it?

The EU is about peace, partnership and free-trade. The EU will invest in countries and regions where it is needed.
