I do 10 lessons on Mondays and Wednesdays, just that gives me 1000 Zloty per week.

Get ready to be pleasantly surprised, at least in pubs. They won't, based on my limited experience, charge you any more than the sum total of the shots in the bottle. Why should they?

Vodka in my local supermarket costs a fiver for the good stuff (bear in mind we're talking about 50cl. bottles).

I would like to know if it's possible to find a work in Poland even without speaking Polish.

If you can find an Italian company which needs your skills, why not? Otherwise, it might be difficult. Perhaps an international company which trades in the countries whose languages you speak. Good luck.

Its impossible, can't be done.

There are no restrictions on its sale as far as I am aware. I do, however, recommend freshly ground pepper.

True. It seems the cops treat every accident as a crime scene. A few years ago I got held up on my way to LHR for two-and-a-half hours while a motorbike fatality was being dealt with. ffs, scrape him up and let's get moving!

Well, perhaps it's not such a bad idea. People who want to harm the vulnerable do seek out opportunities where they can do so. On the other hand, Dr. Harold Shipman had an excellent reputation in his town and no police record, so the check is just a partially useful filter.

Shop around for translators. If you need a notarized version of a Polish police document in English, be sure to check it yourself before you pay.

So instead of, like the Brits, stumbling around drunk and stupid and getting into all sorts of trouble, they are at home, saving money, feeling secure because they have nice kids sleeping in their cots, and they (the parents ...) having frequent sex in the bathroom. That is how it works.

They generally have more sex that their British counterparts.

Glad I gave you a laugh. You don't of course, have to have pierogi swimming in butter in a milk bar. The one I use most has good healthy food on offer every day, including a choice of about ten salads.

Language / Best website to learn Polish from [14]

Hurra! Po Polsku 1 is a pretty good book, but you need a teacher to be able to use it. I don't know of any good self-study materials.
