USA, Canada / Advice needed for Polish mother-in-law visiting USA - health insurance [11]

My wife's mother is going to come stay with us for 6 months in May.
My questions are: should she get some type of temporary health insurance while she is hear and where is something like that available
She does not speak much English, how can we arrange an interpreter for the immigration/customs interrogation?

USA, Canada / American Marrying Polish woman - visa question [41]

There was no problem doing it on a tourist visa and it is valid for 10 years multiple entry. She returned to Poland and it took 6 month to approve the CR-1 spouse visa and we had no problems. Let me know if you have any problems with the process. There is a website called visajourney.com that details everything.and has shortcuts. The most important thing for you to do starting now is to start keeping records of your ongoing relationship. Phone records,skype email and most important photos of you together with families on both sides and things in the background like city signs etc.. to show you were together at certain places and write on each photo where and when. You will need this as proof when the time comes. You have to prove it is a bona fide marriage. I returned to Poland mid October last year so we could come back to the US together and it turns out she got pregnant at that time so our baby is made in Poland!

Maybe you have had good encounters with immigration but they were very rude to my wife. Canada is worse, they tasered a man from Poland and killed him, and another they handcuffed him, took his passport and detained him for something like a week

USA, Canada / Problem with mother in law's US visa (Warsaw interview denied her) [10]

My wife's mother wants to come to us and be here when my wife has our baby in July.
Today the denied her visa at the interview in Warsaw. She knows almost no English and they asked all questions in English
They said since she is retired and has no other family, they think she will try to stay in the US.
My question is there anything we can do that she can come here?

I thought that was for people immigrating permanently. I can fill this document, but then what, does she re apply for a tourist visa or is there some kind of appeal process?.

We want to get internet for my wife's mom so we can Skype video chat with her. I have the following questions:

What service would be available in Aleksandrow, can we buy it month by month, I do not want to sign a year or 2 contract (abanonment) ?

Would a play USB wireless modem have enough speed to do skype video?

We would be willing to sign a contract if we know that it works. I don't want her to get stuck with something that doesn't. There is a company that offers internet and phone package. They claim 4mb/s dl and 512k upload. I was thinking of telling her to try zkypeto us video while they are there installing and not to sign documents unless it works. What do you think?

chances of ever being accepted after an initial rejection are very, very, very slim

My wife's mother finally got a tourist visa after 2 rejections. I think it is up to the person doing the interview.
