Po polsku / Nasza Bufetowa wymiata ! [16]

Ciesze sie

--- Nie obawiasz sie, ze ta uciecha moze zamienic sie w smutek?

bo to Kaczynski and Co symbolizuje wszystko, czego w Polsce nie cierpie

Work / Information about jobs for Indian students in Poland [286]

I am an Indian coming to Poland

--- Rajesh, don't take seriously the scribblings by a type calling himself dupondomine, or something of this sort. He seems to be a British who himself resides in Poland, but he tries to scare you away from Poland. Does he do it because he hates Indians? Come on up, rajesh, and bring along some mouth-waterin curry recipes for us.

The Polonophobic racist dupadomine is showing his true colors again? On what grounds do you allege Bolle is "anti-semitic" and call him "racist"? Isn't it true that Jews, such as Solomon Morel and Lola Potok, ran soviet-communist concentration or death camps in post-WWII Poland? Doesn't John Sack's book "An Eye for an Eye" give facts on the subject?

Nazi death camps

And why doesn't Harry the Polonophobe call them "German death camps"? Isn't the expression "Nazi death camps" - fabricated by the American and British post-WWII propaganda? - historically incorrect and misleading? If it is, why do you use it and thus lie, eh hate-monger?

No, it isn't.

Yes it is.

a) Those were, in fact, death camps. The evidence - the (exceptionally gruesome) mass killings of civilian prisoners, especially Silesians, by Jewish psychopaths, such as Morel.

b) They were Soviet-communist camps in that the people who ran them belonged to the Russian-ruled pseudo-Polish communist security forces. In spite of their wearing "Polish" uniforms, numerous members of those forces weren't ethnic Poles, for example, they were Jews. Under the Russian command they were brutally pacifying Poland, helping to install the pro-Soviet communist government in the place of the legitimate, and backed by the vast majority of Poles, pre-WWII Polish government. As a result of the WWII events, the latter was then based in London.

Well, you actually answered my question addressed to dupadomine - why? Do you crazily imagine you are him, or you actually are the psychopath? At the same time, you haven't replied to my comment relating to you, namely:

And why doesn't Harry the Polonophobe call them "German death camps"? Isn't the expression "Nazi death camps" - fabricated by the American and British post-WWII propaganda? - historically incorrect and misleading? If it is, why do you use it and thus lie, eh hate-monger?

So you call genuine German camps "Nazi camps", but you call in fact soviet-communist camps "Polish camps"? Why? Because you pathologiclly hate the Poles and try to hurt them as hard as you can, right? If so, well, Harry, I fuk you and your hate. Take care of yourself, because hate is bad for your health.... Or better don't take care - hate on.

Victory in 'anti-Polish camps’ campaign in US

We'll see if they actually stop using these monstrously slanderous expressions. I am skeptical about it. It seems the expressions have been used purposely for some - very important to 'somebody' -political reasons, and in order to harass the Poles, and spread hate against them. The expressions are also a way of venting out Polonophobic hate - the same kind of Polonophobic hate as Harry and dupadomine spit out habitually on this forum.

:)

He sure as hell looks like he's crazy

Have you read "An Eye for an Eye" by John Sack? If you haven't, you should - you'd see how crazy were his genocidal deeds.

maybe because not all of the Germans were Nazis and that's why Nazi death camps is correct.

Do you mean calling the camps "Nazi camps" is correct because "not all of the Germans were Nazis"? Why? And what would be the rationale behind calling them "Polish camps"? Would it be that "all of the Poles were Poles"?

UK, Ireland / Poles living in the UK returning home or not? [63]

When the Poles stay in Britain, it's bad, and when they get the hell out of Britain it's also bad with isthate, right?

The Poles are damned if they do, and damned if they don't.

So the Poles allegedly flood "the jobs market" in Britain? When and where?

Ziemowit is right: all the Poles should get the hell out of Britain.

I think they should never return there, not even as tourists.

How many Poles have been beaten up and killed in Britain as a result of hate propaganda carried out by the psychopaths from the Daily Mail, Daily Express, the Sun, and similar filth?

This should not be forgotten and forgiven.

Love / Polish women are the most beautiful in the world! [1718]

Hehe, in spite of any sour grapes creeps trying to disparage Polish women the latter remain securely among the most beautiful women of the world. I am Polish, but I spent more than half of my life abroad, mostly travelling the world over. And today any time I return to Poland, the beauty of Polish women simply strikes me. I don't have this sensation anywhere else except Japan, where, to my liking, women are breathtakingly gorgeous. This perception of mine has nothing to do with nationalism, etc.

UK, Ireland / Polish and Irish people are related? [137]

The Polish also over-identified with the church, due to Godless communism.

Very true remarks - great remarks, milky. I would add that Irish nationalism closely resembles our Polish one in that it has the deep-rooted notion of victimhood, some very tender spots connected with historical memory. And we are both very tough peoples - peoples one can kill but never defeat.

News / Donald Tusk's Government of Poland Continues to Oppress Poles [161]

The Poznan-based British psychopathic Polonophobe, dupadomine, is still scribbling here, spreading his hate-propaganda against the Poles? Shouldn't such scum be kicked out from Poland, the same way they are kicking out us from Britain, having vilified us in the media? Such scum should never be allowed to feel comfy in Poland. Now even top British politicians - Cameron and Miliband - seem to participate in the daily mail-style hate propaganda against the Poles, using us for their own sinister political ends. First the British exploited the Poles beyond measure, and now are trying to talk into everyone, including themselves, that it is us, Poles, who have ripped off the British. Hehe, and just recently the Polish premier Tusk has thanked Cameron for letting the Poles work in Britain. One more piece of evidence for Tusk and his motley's separateness from the real situation and concerns of the Polish people.

I've been reading the posts in this thread and taken aback (a rare occurence with me) by the monstuous lies and hate-filled Polonophobic language of the psychopath calling himself dupadomine, or whatever. What a compulsive liar and slanderer, holly shoot! Take for example his hint that commie Poland was subsidized by Soviet Russia. Hehehehe! And such a Polonophobic crap is allowed to live and puke out his hate in Poland, in the beautiful city of Poznan?

UK, Ireland / Do Poles and EU Citizens exploit the British welfare state [129]

One more piece of Polonophobic hate from delusional American idiot calling himself (repulsively) "sledz"? What a hopeless racist cretin.

Facts seem to show it is the British who have been ripping off the Polish and other post-communist migrant workers. And now, after having exploited them to the full, they are kicking them out and attempting to talk into the world (and themselves) that they are doing it because the Poles have been ripping off the British. The top British politicians - Cameron and Miliband - seem to be using the Poles for their own ugly political ends, that is to flatter the voters, to divert the latter's attention from the real British issues (such as the Third World "multiculturalism"), to direct the British rabble's hate at convenient scapegoats, that is the Poles (and other "East Europeans", but the hate seems mostly to hit the Poles, because it is they who are most frequently mentioned by name in the English media). If one looks at the history of Britain one perhaps can find more examples of similar British behavior toward target groups. Didn't the British carry out pogroms of the colored soldiers who fought for Britain in WWI and after the war stayed there?

News / Poland's Lost Generation [172]

In Poland's case it is complicated because Poles have the third highest IQ in Europe it is colossal waste to have so many brilliant minds occupied in low level menial jobs.

--- Oi, how very compassionate you are toward those poor wretched Poles. Feeling such great "pity" for the Poles lifts up your own self-esteem, doesn't it? And how about the Rumanians - what jobs do they do, what IQ they possess, is there any waste - how big? - involving their brilliant minds? You're Rumanian, aren't you, "southern"?

Trying to make it in London or Dublin is the solution chosen most often, because it is so easy. They don't try to change the country – they leave it to rot.

--- It seems the "solution" isn't that easy nowadays - due to the hate propaganda and hating attitudes against the Poles, especially in Britain. Numerous Poles have come back home already. It seems many more may follow when they experience painfully the foreign Polonophobic racism, which seems so widespread not only in England, but in the whole of the UE, and lose their delusions about the idyllic united Europe where also the Poles are allegedly equal, accepted and respected. Those delusional ideas have been hammered into them by, among others, the newspaper you quote - the strongly left-wing Gazeta Wyborcza (run, among others, by the descendants of communist and stalinist activists, right?). So when the young Poles wake up from their delusions about the EU paradise, they may start appreciating their country and traying to claim it back from those who are ruling it the way they do.

Life / Polish authors, books & literature. [94]

What criteria would you use to determine who is the best writer or novelist? There are a few great Polish novelists - Henryk Sienkiewicz, Boleslaw Prus, Stefan Zeromski (especially his "Popioly" - "The Ashes"), Wladyslaw Stanislaw Reymont (especially his "Chlopi" - "The Farmers"), Maria Dabrowska.... Polish was also Count Jan Potocki who wrote in French the adventure and horror novel known in English as "The Manuscript Found in Saragossa" (there is a very good film based on it, directed by Wojciech Has).

By the way, Sienkiewicz seems to have had a considerable influence on American literature (e.g. Faulkner) and also film - a fact which seems to be ignored and concealed by today American literature and movie "experts". Sienkiewicz's writing style seems to have influenced also Joseph Conrad.

On the other hand I am more interested in literature perspective (not the best sellers or pieces which are popular for short term and does not have any artistic value).

Then I would recommend the aforementioned writers, and a few others (mostly poets - are you interested in Polish poetry as well?). They are great artists and their works are timeless. Of course, today there some in Poland who, having gotten delusional about the (would be) united Europe without nations, and about globalism, would babble that these writers aren't good, etc. nonsense.

Here is just the beginning

What would your quote prove? Would it prove that the Gazeta Wyborcza hasn't been encouraging young Poles to go work in Britain? Would it prove it hasn't been promoting the idea of a united Europe paradise where the Poles are equal, accepted and respected?

Any recommendation from modern Polish literature ?

I would strongly recommend Edward Redlinski (b. 1940) - perhaps the most prominent living Polish novelist. But as far as I know, he hasn't been translated into English. I'd recommend his "Awans" (the original version, not the rewritten one), "Konopielka", "Szczuropolacy" (about Polish immigrants in New York), brilliant reportages, e.g. "Ja w nerwowej sprawie".

Another good more recent Polish novelist (and poet) is Edward Stachura ("Cala jakrawosc", "Siekierezada" - novels, brilliant short stories, "Wszystko jest poezja" - essays). He is, or rather was (d. 1979), a hippie-mystic type.

Another distinguished Polish novelist, short story writer and poet is Jaroslaw Iwaszkiewicz (1894-1980). A few very good movies are based on his prose - Kawalerowicz's "Mother Joanna of the Angels", Wajda's "The Birch Wood" and "The Maids of Wilko".

News / Poland's Lost Generation [172]

Do you mean I've been claiming the GW is "the main culprit behind the whole business"? Where? Then again, isn't the Gazeta Wyborcza one of the prominent culprits (in Poland) behind the business of egging on the Poles to leave Poland and work abroad? Of course, the main culprit, concerning Poles going to work in Britain, seem to be the British themselves. Didn't they strongly encourage the Poles to come and work in Britain, didn't they massively recruit the Poles? I remember one of the recruiting fellows bragging the British will grab away all our young people. They dragged the Poles in, exploited them, and then, having used them up, have been vilifying them, depicting them as those who have ripped off the British. Outrageous, psychopathic, unforgivable.

@ Adam Kadmon

I'm asking myself exactly the same questions, buddy, and the only answer I've been coming up with is that the young Poles should riot like hell in Poland, try to change the relations of power there, try to make the country their own - just as the Hungarians have been doing in Hungary. Enough of the deadly alliance between the Polonophobes from the PO and ex-communists.

But be prepared for some "culture shock" and a (stylized?) peasant dialect from NE Poland.

What "culture shock"? Do you believe some rural folks in other countries, e.g. Britain or America, don't behave as "shockingly" as the farmers in "Konopielka"?

History / Norman Davies - the Brit who loves Poland and becomes one of Us [250]

I'm afraid Davies's books on Poland are getting dated, and so is the occasionally full of pathos, compassionate-for-the-wretched attitude of his towards the Poles.

His recent hostile remarks about the PiS seem to show he doesn't understand the political situation in Poland today, or has joined in the Polonophobic camp.

As for his alleged love for Poland and becoming one of us, it seems he mostly loves Britain, and especially his native Wales ( he doesn't seem to be too fond of England - see "Isles"), and actually doesn't become any one else, but remains firmly British-Welsh.

Davies seems to have been an authority on Polish history and matters mostly during the Cold War, when the American and British (and zionist) propaganda depicted Poland and Poles virulently negatively. - Davies was the one who began describing Poland and Poles more positively. Today every one can come to Poland, get to know us directly, and be his own expert on Polish matters.

Still Davies looks like a great Polish patriot when compared to the alleged "expert" on things Polish - the Polonophobic Timothy Garton Ash of The Guardian....
