I agree however that Poland should build up it's military.

It should build roads and lower taxes.not spend money on useless junk

Good thing.PL should not get involved in any direct alliances with US as it only means troubles for PL and wasted money(Afganistan,Iraq Chirac was right when he told PL to shut up).THERE IS ALLREADY NATO!Instead it should ally itself closely with Germany,improve relations with Russia and keep out of troubles. It doesnt look like anybody is going to attack PL in foreseeable future,and there is no need to create this atmosphere of fear.

Its too new, after they refine it for 5+ years its going to be markedly superior but right now its not really superior also our F-16s are one of the latest blocks which makes them very good by any standards.

Very good may not be good enough.If f 16 was so great Luftwaffe and RAF wouldn't bother with eurofighter.

Another reason is that Typhoons are significantly more expensive

I know they are but we disscus the best fighter not the cheapest one.

Why? Grippens are worse on a number of fields

48 latest block F-16s which are currently the best fighters in Europe

Are they really?How about Eurofighter Typhoon?Poland should have bought Grippens (like Czechs did) and support european industry.uuups I forgot that PL is a "troyan donkey" in EU.Never mind.

So you really don't know.We can defend many kilometers of forest?The whole Bieszczady area?"Zielony Szlak" begins in Ukraine or Bielarus and ends in Poland.If you know where you should go you can come to Poland.

I really don't see your point here.Tell me how are you going to move a mechanized division thru this forest???Wars are being fought along communication lines and strategically important centers not in woods.

What do you expect from "Polish" politician elite out of whom circa 90% looks like a genetical mix of khazars and polish rednecks... They care only about the future of their own families..

True, they are traitors.Instead of spending bilions on Afganistan and Iraq they should rather organize voluntary territorial self defence forces kinda like national guard in US or swiss army reserve.I dont think there would many potential invaders if they were facing lets say 8 milions armed (maybe not best equiped,but with with at least basic training) guerilla fighters.

How about "Polish expats leave America for Europe"?Anyway, not only Poles are leaving.I personally knew whole bunch of Lithuenians and Latvians who left US about 2 years ago.Before that left they maxed out their credit cards.But I don't think this is any problem for US, since I see many new LEGAL expats from Somalia and Tchad.

The way my bleeding heart sees it, he is a homesick Pole, getting distraught (probably from reading this forum) at the wave of Muslims poised to occupy his ojszczyzna.

No ,I am more sick and tired of this crooked ,antipolish regimes occupying my land for over 20 years.All they want to do is to tax you to death and then waist the money on some BS.F*****g crooks and traitors.I would like to go back but I am not going to support this fuckers with a single penny of my taxes.What this country needs is a revolution,even bloody one if necessery.The problem is that majority of polish ppl do not know better. Poland could be a great country,much better than many so called "western" ones but first it has to get rid of the leeches in sejm and senat.

Plus, he had a few drinks (I was betting on it when I replied Na Zdrowie)

Hitler offered Poland also the possibility to become part of the anti-comintern pact already in 1935, what would had made Poland actually part of an anti-soviet alliance.
The Wehrmacht would proably still have marched through Poland, but not as an enemy but to fight the Soviets.
But they declined...so the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact came later..

Polish diplomacy was always more concerned with London and Paris these days...

Very true!No one is to be blamed for what has happend to PL,but Poles.Looking for friends far away and making enemies close.Same thing is happening now...Allying with hitler was the only sane thing to do.Just like hungarians, romanians and few others did.

NO.Poland should tighten visa restrictions for ALL non EU nationals and introduce visas to citizens of those countries which enjoy visa-free travelling to PL but require visas from polish ppl.

Why to force yourself finding a foreign girlfriend/boyfriend,

Nobody should force anybody 2 anything,we discuss the BEST way 2 learn.1st of all to enter relationship with foraigner u must allready speak his/her language at some level(or he/she must speak yours).then it is really handy to have a native speaker around.

Having foreign partner makes it easy.to give you an example i remember:watching "taxi driver" with my wifey.in one of the scenes de niro says:"i take everyone,even spooks"i have had no idea who the "spook"was,but all i had to do was to ask "baby who is the spook?"and had answer in a sec.
