Yes,I also like that.Slavs are regarded here as passive,constantly sad and whining folks who believe in destiny and superstitions.But I think this passivity arises from tact they just don't want to annoy you opposite to Germans who want to make their presence felt and be in the foreground.
For sure they make a lot of noise.They describe Balkan folks as quite.Probably they want to show that they enjoy life while Americans are loud to show that they live.

Yes,in personal level Poles are very generous like us orthodox folks.They give you plenty to eat to drink etc.Once I made the mistake to introduce a Polka to my mother(the Polka insisted for that) and my mother to my surprise filled her with cosmetics some silver ones of high value.After that the nose of the Polka was turned up a few mm and she refused the former level of service leading me to the conclusion that mothers are a disaster in sentimental affairs.

Yes,because you are a Serb.My brother for example who was used to northern italian level of politeness described the Russians as bears totally lacking manners and any civilization after his visit to Moscow.I tried to change his opinion but he is not a slavophile.

I tell you man.Greek fish costs here three times more than european imported fish,doesn't it say anything to you?There is no comparison.If they try to pass turkish fish or portugese,morrocan as greek,there are heavy conflicts because it is much less tasty and clients get upset.

Ahoj.As a Czech you really have no problems.It is very easy to swift from czech to polish.For example milacku in czech is kochanie in Polish,zlaticko in Czech is zlota in Polish,draha is droga(although not used very much in czech),kotku is kotku,srdicko is srdce,slunicko is sloneczko,broucku I don't know how it is in polish I think they say mysciu.
For example jsi moc mila a sladka becomes in polish jestes bardzo mila i slodka,jsi moc pekna becomes jestes bardzo piekna,mam tebe moc rad lubie cie bardzo,jsi muj andel becomes jestes muj aniolek etc.

Yes,but it lacks the ingredients.Feta cheese,grrek olives,greek olive oil,our onions etc.It doesn't taste the same abroad.
And greek fish is the best in Europe.Roman Emperors ordered their fish from Greece.I had a czech gf who hated fish and found it delicious when she first tasted greek fish.(I cared it was one of first quality species).
She makes it here too :)
