Feedback / The image of Poland according to PolishForums [90]

Do you think there is too much pointless discussion on unimportant matters?

yes and when you bring up an important issue, certain people make it pointless in purpose

Do you think that the atmosphere here is friendly, neutral or hostile?

Hostile if you speak about the actual economic situation of the country.
The vast majority of people on this forum are not Polish they are British(a lot of them own properties and a are aggressive developers) . So its far from factual.

that is not true ,,, take alook at all the ryanair flights, full of new poles,,, yes our goverment was wrong thats why the right won the last election from labour

You have a major problem with punctuation and putting a sentence together. Are you a little bit retarded?? because the BNP and combat 18 are nazi organizations and they may come after you, if this is the case.

Real Estate / PLN 2,500 the going rate for an apartment in Poland [210]

i hear the main properties that are selling are small city apartments in the 200,000 - 300,000 PLN range.

well in a country with an average industrial wage of 7500 euro,i thing for that price you would want to be getting a very large apartment or a house in the city centre.

On another point if Maslows hierarchy of needs is anything to go by it is quite strange how little discussion there is about the real-estate bubble and income levels in Poland.

This can only mean, as i have said earlier, there is simply far to little Polish people on this forum.

News / New cross war in Warsaw [530]

The Gods of the past are today's symptoms.

good point

A perfect example is how Abraham would have been front page news as the guy who heard voices telling him to kill his son Isaac.
And we would have been shocked but instead it is being taught to children about how to love God.
My point is that religious people like this stuff, after all they are nuts.

The Abraham story is metaphorical ,i think you over-rationalizing hence simplifying a story of huge sociological importance. However the cross mob are nut-cases, that is a fact.

Love / Maintenance for child born between Irish/Polish parents. [60]

If he goes back to Poland, at the most he will have to pay a percentage of his income,so he may only have to pay about 30 euro a week max. If he pays rent and is on a typical crap Polish wage, he will not be even worth chasing for the money, it would be buttons in Ireland.

Maintenance for child born between irish/polish parents.
This is what the heading says. So money is the issue, this guy has and is a runner.
At the most he will be means tested and forced to pay what he can afford. Which would be buttons and not worth a sh1t in Ireland. Maybe it would pay for 3 days nappies. Sorry for sounding grim but i have a point. I think you know well what i mean

Real Estate / PLN 2,500 the going rate for an apartment in Poland [210]

I predict stagnation for the next foreseeable year, i don't think prices will drop much further,

Time will tell, the property bubble grew out of Poles working and pumping money in from abroad, the world down-turn may force the Poles back to their 7000 euro Polish jobs. This can only bring prices down.

you think they're going to say something different

maybe not, but they would be less inclined to side with the snarky sharky developers here, who claim that there was never a bubble to begin with and that Polish wages have hugely increased.

Small city apartment or large house with land - outside a city for the same price, its a no brainer.

Is this the case all over Poland and its cities?? eg Lublin

Work / CV/Resume style standards in Poland [17]

I think the (Polish)Catholic mentality may encourage this kind of out 0f date bulsh1t. Photo,DOB marriage status. If there are very little jobs, they can probably get away with anything in order to choose the "perfect worker". They could probably ask you if you go to mass or not, if they wanted. How-ever if you no someone on the inside, you wont even need a CV.

Then again, you only have to read Barbara Ehrenreich book on "job coaching" in the USA, to see how the whole thing has turned into a circus on a world-wide basis.

Real Estate / PLN 2,500 the going rate for an apartment in Poland [210]

Bulgaria, Hungary, Czech Republic

Property has seriously gone down in these countries especially hungary. The reason for the long saturation point in Polish property is due to the mass immagration. The Polish property prices are going down the slowest in area's like Lublin, as these are the places that had the highest immigration.

he big drop just hasnt happened

This is what they all said in Ireland for years and then bang. The Polish situation is how-ever completely different as it has nothing to do with the Polish economy. I personally know a lot of Poles here in Ireland who own property(s) back home. When and if these people return things will change.

Real Estate / PLN 2,500 the going rate for an apartment in Poland [210]

I forget exactly the % but in the 3 yrs 2005-07 Polish Property prices went up in 40%,60%, 70%. Was immigration not the big player here.If not please explain??

There was no Polish salary increase anywhere near this significance.

Real Estate / PLN 2,500 the going rate for an apartment in Poland [210]

Immigration had little or NOTHING to do with it.

If you really think that then...............................discussion is pointless. Like telling a thirsty man in the desert that water is not the issue.
Immigration had nothing to do with property bubble.
Thats your view lets end it there.Agree to disagree. I"ve said all i can say in previous threads on the topic.

Life / Any treatment centres for homos in Poland? [455]

This whole gay argument goes in circles. I thinks its all down to people who lack the ability to accept contrast. It a form of mass autism were people have to have a black and white world, and if colors begin to merge, they burst into rage. I can't think of anything more enjoyable than getting a bl0w from Angelina Jolie and some men would prefer one of Brad, so be it. The problems of the world lie elsewhere; so basicalyy what i'm trying to say is, T Z, maybe your just retarded.

dumbfounded

Dont be, it happens all the time.
I think there are new EU laws coming in or already in, that help people with your situation. I heard about it on the radio a couple of months back.

Even a good job in Poland can be sh1t pay so you may get very very little, but if he has 2 houses in his own name you may be on to something.

BTW He sounds like a b0lox.

Real Estate / Cost of rent for a four room apartment outskirt of Wroclaw [17]

It is rather more like ~2000 + utilities.

Sorry to be going on about this but to put things in context in relation to the average industrial wage in Ireland and Poland. The 2000 + in wroclow for 2 bedroom apartment on the outskirts would be 4/5 of monthly average indusrial wage, To put it into context in relation to AI wage/Rent on the outskirts of galway.cork,Belfast even Dublin i could rent three large 2 bedroom apartments for that.

Yes you're right, although unemployment is much worse in Ireland than in Polish cities at the moment as far as I understand

yes but a person on the dole in ireland gets 3 times as much as a person in Poland working for minumum wage. You could rent a large 1 bedroom apartment in Naas now, and be on the dole Monthly rent 550 euro + monthly dole 1000 euro.(rent allowance included)

or Athlone
Monthly rent 450euro + monthly dole 1000 euro
and Poland
Monthly rent 350 euro + monthly average net industrial wage 500 euro
or
monthly rent 350euro + monthly minimum wage 320 euro

nother thing that is kind of strange to them is the fact that Ireland is so rich, but there are so few jobs. How can that be?

I suppose the whole economy was a kind of Ponzei scheme called celtic tiger.
The wages in Ireland will have to serously come down by about 50% to become competetive again but what about the super-inflated mortgages that have the country took out, the future for ireland is real dark lookin. No party will bring in the cuts, will do this so the IMF will be coming soon.

Well its one of the worlds most difficult languages apparently, and the price of property and rent is absolutely insanely high in relation to the miserably low wages so im not all that surprised. Its obvious.

Real Estate / Buying a flat in Krakow; prices are still falling? [200]

So as you have a fine apartment in a nice building you can ask for 8000 to even 14000 PLN per one square meter

for 14000 pln it would want to come with one of those star trek Replicators.

The situation on suburbs is completely different.

how much different?
