News / Abortion still under control in Poland [2502]

Delph, you mention adoption. I think that's the best can happen to unwanted children.
What about those who end up dead in dumpsters, rivers, trash bags on a street.
I'm with Gabi.

People wanted democracy and free choice and now they forse their morality on others. Sick.

@4 eigner
hmm... you state that men should also be involved in decision making, although you say above that women should educate themselves, should not spread easily, use precaution etc. so what is a men's role in it? because you should mention men also

Sexual education is very important and should be mandatory in Polish schools.

Abortion should not be treated as a contraception.

The truth is that it is a woman's decision. I'm not saying that a man should't be involved. But, first of all, it's her body and second of all in many cases a man disappear when the problem of unwanted pregnancy occurs in a relationship. Sad, but true.

Bunch of power hungry politicians and men in black dresses of doubtful morality dictate women what to do with their own bodies.
Let a woman decide. At the end of the day, she will live with her secision, no one else.

Worrying about a baby? How ironic. When men will be able to deliver babies, then they will decide what women should do with their asses.

As a matter of fact, biology is fantastic and somebody with passion would talk for hours about cell's organellas. Many doesn't know that because it's not in a textbook, and somehow rightfully so at that level.

But do not shot down a kid who wants to speak up.

I agree with you a.k. about the slogans and I call it narrow-mindness.

I don't agree Barney. Many kids are too smart to be in the class with other avarage kids. And it is not because of a teacher, some kids are just gifted and it is lowering their level when they have to sit in a classroom where a teacher is explaining 5th time the same thing to students when the smart kid got it in 5 mins. Waste of their time and their future.

I mean any school.

Is a kid with high grades and ambitions stay in a class with other B and C students or will be moved to a school where more kids smart like him are to challenge his knowledge on higher level than usual in schoold.

I'm talking about elementary or high school, because uni is up to the kid mostly anyway.

Are there any schools (public or private) in Poland where can study a student who is smarter, more intelligent than other kids, has better grades? In some countries, those smart kids are recognized by teachers and moved to schools or classes with higher lever.

So what does if a baby is born a "bastard?"

it is quite upsetting what you write on PF, Polonius. i would expect that from the forum trolls, but not a mature, (i guess) educated, Catholic man.

Sadly, because of people like you, stereotypes are born.
And all the values, which Catholics are supposed to believe in, go to trash.
I guess, not believers are statistically more decent people.
