History / Poland in a Slavic Union/Alliance/Federation? [335]

anti-EU movement

I am not looking to be anti-EU ... just I think its not exactly what would be priceless.

When the majority wants out of the EU

Lets not put words into anothers mouth. I never said such a thing. And this idea or a slavic club is not anti-EU.

Food / Is brain-damaging vegan fad growing in Poland? [176]

Veggies are good and I love 'em but I want some meat with it too.

Right ... without meat life is tasteless =).

Though ... I've read somewhere that the human body and teeth are more suitable towards vegetables and fruits.

Life / Why Do You Love Poland? [907]

Not if you are writing in Polish forums I thought while I put that question up.

All love fades

Lust fades ... love lives forever ... because God is love, and He is eternal :)

We often mistake between love and lust. Love doesn't need a body of matter ... its something more about the soul than the flesh.

You were her pet while she was in UK right? :D ...

I wonder how her boyfriend back in Poland would feel if he would know this! ... Some women are worthless. Had she been a serious person she would stick with one man. Infact I'm sure she cheated on her boyfriend back home ...

Life / Why Do You Love Poland? [907]

A man who loves you will just give you the money and tell you to go by yourself.

Then you have no idea what love is ...

At least when I look at a man he knows exactly what I'm thinking

He knows what he is thinking ... and he wants just one thought around, and its not important that you have to think it ;)

happily stand in a ladies clothes shop while I try the 20 dresses they have in stock.

Perhaps a few times ...

Anyways ... if this is what you think of as what you want, then you should have it. It is your choice :) ...

(I'm not trying to be offensive)

I don't know how offensive you have tried not to be ... but this thing I found very foolish from you:

^ My whole family and all the Polish people i know feel the same way.

Are you really so stupid about "all the Polish people"? ... or is it another one of your sincere attempts. Trust me, with this attitude, you will have a very difficult life ahead. It seems that you don't know what it sincerity. You can like an Italian or a British, it is perfectly fine, but not the way you described it. It is called blindness, and blind people get hit more times then those who can see.

Love / Polish girls and traditions (esp. between mother in laws and daughter in laws) [45]

It is very nice Neharika. All the best to you and your family, as you can see the Poles are warm hearted people, and be sure that she will be loving to you all, and you should be the same to her so that you all can enjoy a happy life with each other. Your grandson is very much Polish with Indian heritage, and I am sure he will carry his name well together with your family respect or the cultural things you have :)!

I see this thread incredibly peaceful and surprisingly populated with us Poles more than any other ... ofcourse anyone with something good to say will be here, and Poles love to dwell and celebrate goodness :)! Visible clean atmosphere. On topic! Cheers!!! :) ... !!

Waiting to read more ofcourse Neharika :) ... keep us updated, will come to see what happened after 2 month :) ...

Life / Polish mentality towards Pakistan [108]

This person "Jabwaw" has been so understanding and spoken in such an educated manner, that I find others who tried their best to insult him on the basis of his nationality or race to be nothing more than scums. Just read through all of his posts, and you will definitely see what I am trying to say (if you have eyes).

This is the first time I came across this age old post ... but very impressive.

I know some very nice people from Kashmir (so called terror striken) and they have not only honest but also very intelligent. It depends on which kind of people you welcome in your country, and how well you integrate with them (as well as how well they integrate with you).

Just ranting about integration doesn't work. The government and the people must allow them to get integrated, but being friends and including them in family even. Not those who are mad. For the mad people there can be jail or other measures. Importantly, I am always in favor of bringing in REAL STUDENTS from anywhere in the world (I mean for immigration). Students are flexible, they are intelligent, they get groomed into the host culture very quickly, and they can contribute to the economy in a positive way too.

How should citizenship be given? The student must complete his/her undergrad or graduation in the host country completely, and show genuine interest to work and integrate. None should be allowed to live in their separate communities, and their children must be put into schools predominantly white ... just 10% of them in a class with whites, and the teachers must make them sit separately, with the whites, so that they learn to break the ice.

don't confuse what is being done to gain your acceptance with what a person understands to be their own cultural values.

And you don't confuse yourself to be the master of intelligence on relationships. I think this shows how good the upbringing of this Polish girl is ... I am very impressed and proud of her.

Polish girls from good upbringing have a great appreciation for family and values. They surely know how to handle it, as they really dream for it.

Love / Is rape so common in Poland? [95]

Hey ... is this unseen or something?

Its all relative. There are things which get reported, and things which don't. There are forms of it, including post marital rape as well.

This is certainly a depressing topic ... but surely this is not exactly "uncommon" anywhere, including Poland.

Love / Is rape so common in Poland? [95]

But I really expect something more concrete in Europe about safety of women.

Why only more in Europe? Its no paradise of the saints in here.

Rape often goes unreported due to many social and psychological reasons. You need to study the matter (big books available) to understand how the whole mechanism work.

The man who does the rape is not a man, but worse than an animal. I cannot imagine how they do it. Disgusting.

By the way, its not anything so particular about Poland that it will make you think specifically of it. You can look into India too and find many more examples ... where you can perhaps understand the scenario better as you are brought up there (isn't it?).

It is done by tyrants, messed up people ... no matter whether he/she is a Christian, Muslim, Hindu or Army or a Mob or rioters ... or a humanoid in the form of a relative/relation.

Remember: In Muslim countries a woman may be judged&killed because she was raped.

I think its a lame generalization by you. Perhaps some regimes can do this, but it has nothing to do with that religion if closely studied. I don't think their systems are adjustable in the modern world, but just for that I would really not find it right to just hurl any kind of accusation on them.

I've been to a predominantly muslim country as in Bangladesh for some business interest of my ex employer, and found that country interestingly fare in its treatment of both the genders. Call it politics, employment or services. They are developing, but very promising.

Lets just not make a distorted picture just for the sake of hatred. It is not right.

I agree that Slavs are humans too, but what makes them unique, likeable and dispisable, funny and serious, talented or not that much capable?

In this planet, every individual is unique, just like you :)

The rest of the things you mentioned depends on the particular person and how they manage themselves, how much they can focus on their specific positive and creative inclinations.

This thread is not appropriate and certainly should not exist.

There is no such thing as violent and frequent or higher number of rapes in Poland compared to others. I always felt that this thread had to be dumped ... but then the moderators are better equipped.

Love / Simon Mol - would he have been so "successful" in other countries than Poland? [121]

So You're basically saying that most Dutch, English, German, American women wouldn't laugh the guy out of their bed

I think what he is saying (which an obsessed person like you cannot understand) is that THERE ARE SUCH WOMEN anywhere in the world. Perhaps more in UK even! ... Ofcourse. I was reading a thread in PF few days ago where the British girl complains about her boyfriend being more careful in chosing a bride, and leaving her out (and claiming herself to be greatly experienced in bed) for a better choice! Infact, I didn't say anything there ... but here I would like to EXCLAIM that any Polish man (not the ones you meet, the day laborers) with a good background and dynasty would always like to choose a better person for their life. Someone who respects herself in words and deed, and thus also would respect him and his honor!

So ... there you go! British women too. Infact British women of good educated backgrounds. While the Poles you often come across are the ones which are more needy. Those who are from broken homes too.

Lodz_the_Boats contribution because he got so miffed in another topic.

Remember Midas, Poland is not the kind of community you dwell in. We have various family structures and sub cultures in Poland. When you say "Polish girls" it unjustly colors everyone in the same light. I have family, we are Polish. I have friends with dignity, my attitude was shaped in a way that I chose people with whom I was comfortable, and I used to be (and still am) comfortable with people who have some kind of relevance with my (our) lifestyle. I would like to assert here, that WE ARE MANY MANY TOO MANY! ... We ourselves do not find interest or anything to do with the kind of women who you are influenced by. DOES IT RING BELL? ... I hope it does. My offense comes when you mark it all by saying "POLISH WOMEN" ... why don't you call them the needy, loose, useless, stray women who might wear expensive clothes or try to look very independent, but are internally distorted and deformed. You cannot relate such people with a particular nation, but you can say that you met such people from a country who came to your jobs or somehow related to it (which deals with very "manual" things).

Even manuals have very good dignity. But they are the unfortunate victims of the dirty reputation created by some ambitious unfortunates, who no matter what they say, are the curse on themselves and those who they come across.

Women and Men, who do not know how to carry themselves ... or how to BEHAVE, how to judge and move forward in life with ethics, decency and efficiency ... are not worth being obsessed about with any intense feelings (hatred or love).

"third worlders"

In my view Midas, no one is a third worlder. No Midas, the Children of Israel were not slaves, but Children of Israel - God's people. They were mislabeled, mistreated ... everything was flawed and later which was corrected.

You cannot divide people with religion, color, economy of culture (which is fast overlapping and taking the shape of a universal culture). People, humans, are one ... and the evolution is there ... it is shaping ... and it will bring about solace ... with its own beauty which today is not clear ... perhaps just like it would not have been clear to the caveman that without thick skin how he would survive.

MIDAS ... I had no experience with a black person. I confess, my experiences are limited to STUDENTS with good reputable backgrounds (generally from East, and I once was very interested in Eastern cultures and values ... although not so much into research now), and whose manners suggested so aswell. I have friends who married into such men and I reiterated that they are not only happy, but prosperous and even examples of good marriages. I once posted some links of such a couple who took the time to try and teach each other language through youtube, but I suppose this forum have too many morons due to which I put it off.

You need to know WHO YOU ARE TALKING WITH ... WHO YOU SHOULD BEFRIEND ... Shape your own values, maintain your lifestyle and not become intimidated ... then life will show you better than what you currently keep observing.

I HAVE NOTICED THAT YOU ONLY QUOTE CONVENIENT PORTIONS AND TRY TO DISTORT MY COMMUNICATION INTO SOMETHING WHICH SOUNDS DIFFERENT FROM WHAT I SAID. You believe in creating stereotypes. You believe in dwelling in the trash, of which I know, but I avoid and travel through the gardens which also exist - like a sane and normal human being with fresh and positive tastes. That is how we are different ...

READ COMPLETELY ... if necessary twice ... understand, don't just ARGUE...

(continued)
Yet I did not interact with some people from East again when I were in University. I still do not have Turkish friends so close to remain in contact (although I am sure some are good, but I did not meet, or saw from distance just the sleazy ones) ... and the Hispanic or the Egyptian (although I had a friend, but he went another part of Poland and since that no contact).

Thus it comes down to being "selective", having a developed sense of judgment. Acting on refined impulses, evolved through upbringing. One must consider "who" is that person ... "what" is the nature. The "ambition" ... and the character of the work and surrounding. All the external factors create a sub culture, which sometimes are very deviated from the main culture or completely different from many of the prominent sub cultures of a nation.

Love / Simon Mol - would he have been so "successful" in other countries than Poland? [121]

SOME PEOPLE here are coloring all men either as pervert or as opposing the respect of women.

I would like to enlighten them that in their efforts, they themselves degrade women. No matter of which culture, country or ethnicity ... women have to be given equal respect and benefit of doubt to their own self will.

Yes there are the slutty women, and so are there slutty men. But if someone opens the eyes, then will be able to see that there are dignified and patient women just as there are MEN! Can wait for that special person STILL, and there is no shame of incapability in it. It is a personal choice, a mark of values.

Whether it be Eastern women or Western women ... it is their choice. Yes some cultures are repressive, but I do not think that a certain class of women can really ever get repressed. Yes, the poor in any land are always going to be victims of every form of repression... but I don't think the same is applicable to the rich.

In any ways, Europe is a much different society, and here comes many women and men from East. They carry their culture SOMETIMES and I respect that. Why not? ... but I respect more when they integrate, and they should ofcourse integrate with respectful people with values. THERE ARE MANY SUCH RESPECTFUL MEN AND WOMEN WITH VALUES IN EUROPE.

I resist the concept that NO ONE IN EUROPE OR POLAND have the high moral standards. We do have, and we just don't come to the streets with it. Yes, we should make ourselves known, but I guess it will happen gradually when we MUST to resist the labeling of our whole society and all subcultures by disrespectful perverts to be a social catastrophe, a brothel ... DISGUSTING!

I resent... Midas and his likes! All the people in this thread, I wonder how many were Polish entirely. Well I was asked by this person, and I have replied! ... JUST WATCH HOW HE ANSWERS ... he will evade major points and distort my response to make it look something different. He always does that.

I have no interest to enforce anymore to anyone. WHOEVER HAVE EYES AND ANY INTELLIGENCE, READ WHAT I WROTE AND CONSIDER IT ... YOU REALLY BELIEVE THAT THERE ARE NO MEN AND WOMEN IN POLAND WHO HAVE DIGNITY AND WHO STILL WAIT FOR THEIR RIGHT ONE...OR WHO DO NOT LIVE ONLY FOR MONEY? OR WHO HAVE A BETTER SOUL?

If you think that ... please do not consider yourself as a FRIEND OF POLAND ... but rather a stray rock ... nothing else.

Polish men write even worse about polish women if you read forums in polish. In fact they are more enraged because it affects their image as nation.Foreigners usually complain about the same thing for different reasons.

I read everything in here. I can tell you that you have least idea about Polish men and Polish women. I need to reassert here that people who are disrespectful will always be obsessed with the gloomy part of life, and those who write in Polish are not necessarily Polish.

I need to confirm that this site is nothing more than a good opportunity to write in English, and to thus sharpen the communication ... and that too in Polish context.

This thread is a nonsense.

Love / Simon Mol - would he have been so "successful" in other countries than Poland? [121]

including you:)

You are confident in knowing things from a "sex educator" who happens to be your student. Being all knowing in sex is not often the correct assumption.

For me, sex is empty without love, and love is empty without a promise ... and the promise comes empty without a sense of responsibility between partners. If this means I lack the knowledge how other mechanisms work, I must say that the very fact that I know that other mechanisms exist is a knowledge but which I do not want to expand or dwell in. It is not my business of obsession or of any interest to me. However, to color the whole nation or humanity in a single framework or to replace emotions with scientific logic will obviously resented.

People should stick to being respectful of others, and thus sometimes the proper use of languages will always be important. So that each sub culture can enjoy its lifestyle and image ... it is always healthy to do so. Ofcourse everyone is free, and this freedom should be respected on every level.
