Yes. Mostly Vietnamise. Others not many. Many Indians are coming (especially students) but there's still no more than a few thousand of them.

I heard that a lot of Indians are going to come to Poland in the next years because of the lack of workers in Poland ;)

Aus means Australia ? If yes, i have something to say : did you know that Australia is the thrid best place to live in the world after Norway and Iceland...seems like foreigners are not always that bad for a country ;)

Christmas in Australia is in summer :p but i'd feel weird...i can imagine, going to the beach, swimming on a December 24th afternoon... :p

Wouldbe great to go back to Poland for Christmas..

Yes it is !! Zakopane is a really nice city ;) and walking down the streets in the evening with all the lights around you...you really feel it's Christmas, just like in the movies, LoL, and another thing i've never seen before, it's the fireworks on New Year's Eve !! When we got out of our hotel, we could see the sky above Zakopane lightened by so many fireworks ! Unbelievable, there so many of them, and it lasted maybe one hour :p Great memories ;)

Er, the 2002 census says that there are 1,808 Vietnamese in Poland.

But the census was about Polish citizens. Most of Vietnamise aren't citizens, most probably aren't even legally here.

most probably aren't even legally here.

Yeah, right. Because they can just so easily blend into the background and the police never ever hassle them....

I saw an official text with a number, i think it was 60,000 but can't be sure...Grzegorz is right, many of them don't have the Polish citizenship yet ;)

Indians may be coming to Poland to study. I would have thought that Poland may still be quite a cheap place to live and study. I was in Sydney not long ago and I did not see many Indians in that city though there does seem to be quite a lot of people from South Est Asia though geographically that is to be expected. Maybe that is why Australia keeps its points system to keep people out?

About Indians, both governments of Poland and India "signed" for the possibility for Indian workers to come to Poland ;) so it's official, sure some of them come to study, but some will come to work ;)

The new changing face of Poland. It will seem quite strange in the future to meet Polish speaking Indians!

LoL yes but i think that's great ! Mixed people are more open-minded, and everything's better when we learn to live all together...no conflict, no war anymore ! :p LoL nice dream, isn't it ;)

Because they can just so easily blend into the background

You are too right. Yet it is both a positive and negative trait...

the police never ever hassle them

Possibly the Polish police recognize that a new Poland urgently need a heavy dose of intense and ruthless pragmatism from those VietNamese! (just joking!)

In future, if Polish speak Indian, that is disastrous!!! Though a nice dream does happen when they speak Esperanto or any international non-national language.

I agree with a conlang (constructed language) as an international language, but it seems quite complicated to make schools teach it ;)
