My wife is a South Korean, and I'm a Polish. We also have a child. I didn't meet her in US or other parts of Western Europe, but in Poland where she came on an academic trip. No, this romance was not like hollywood (puke), it was way better and more respectful and a wonderful experience. We are living a good life in Poland, with all good relationships with our parents and inlaws.

I didn't marry her because Polish girls are horriable. Infact, Polish girls are some of the best one can ever come across. But love is something that just happens, and its not explainable.

There are many Polish girls married with foreign men not for money, infact these men live and work hard to make a living in Poland along with their wife to support a decent family. There is nothing wrong with that.

There are some Polish men married with decent foreign girls too, not because our women are horriable, but just because its a new world and we are a part of it. Love is best when it happens for its own sake, and not material boundaries.

Yeah .. her grandmother (bangladesh one) was not quite comfortable with the idea of a daughter in law from a foreign land. I don't think your racial or any other factor really did push him away. Plus, dont say he "Rejected" you. Maybe he had other issues with himself... maybe he felt attracted to your East Asian appeal, and it is nice that he mentioned such nice things to you. Probably he was attracted to you, but there are things other than those merely visible to the naked eye. Maybe he has issues with coming too close to someone, and prefers not to be hurt and rather live alone.

As you say, you are very social and very frank ... maybe because he is more of an introvert, he felt that you two would not be comfortable in the long run. Or that he might not be able to keep you happy with himself.

I've rarely seen a USA person to be able to take critism or disinterest in them or their country in a normal manner. It seems its always "Either you are with me or against me" for them. This is unfortunate and sign of a very violent inner nature which suffocates the TRUE FREEDOM of everyone and propogates its own form of freedom where whatever it does, whatever it may be like ... people must obey to its ways, its perspectives, its values and ideals, its dictatorship around the world and their own affairs. Poland and Poles are people who always had a big heart, and we love the world and all its people. Yes there are disturbing specimens, but those are pain personified, and they never could subdue the free and sincere Polish heart, which was always a part of this whole world, not just a race, continent or a culture.
