Travel / What should I wear in winter in Poland? [29]

So the answer seems to be - Timberland Boots, Jeans and a thick check shirt.

Wearing a KD Lang T shirt is an optional extra.

It would appear that they were probably from Romania. Apparently they get more money if they say they are from Albania or Bosnia.

how do you recognize that someone is albanian gypsy?

They wrote on the card that they were from Albania, the families dress suggested they were Gypsies.

I concluded they were Albanian Gypsies but I was skeptical over their life story and the incredible bad luck they were having.

I thought the beggars in Poland weren't too bad compared with others - "dwa Zloty" was the usual request - met with a "Youre joking mate - I'm Scottish" response.

The worst are in Paris - Albanian Gypsies who shove a note in your hand written in English

October 13th 2009 - Lukoil ( Russia ) agree terms to start drilling in West Qurna-1 ( proven crude oil reserves of 8.6 billion barrels ).

What about in Russia - Barents, Yamal peninsula, Sakhalin etc etc
Russian influence - Iraq, Iran, Africa etc etc

What would Europe do if Russia chose to sell their West Siberian gas to China instead ?

Edit - Together Russia and Iran have nearly 20% of the worlds proven oil and gas reserves. Still a lot of drilling to be done.

Gazprom ( Russia ) control a lot of the supply to Eastern and Central Europe, including Poland.
Periodically they turn it off when Putin gets peed off.

To prevent this Poland is looking to get 20% of its hydrocarbons from Norway (Skanled).

Because this wil lessen Russian influence, Russia up the stakes by building a pipeline to Germany which bypasses Poland.

US are looking to gain influence in EU by building a pipeline through the Stans ( including Afghanistan).

USA to save them

USA saved Georgia ???

Russian will always own Europe coz the EU will never stand up against them:)

Russia/USA - whats the difference ?

Nah, the Welsh are alright but I thought you mentioned in a previous post that you were having probs with the neighbours....nevermind........me getting my wires crossed.

I will say to you what I say to Ksyia.....move to Scotland.

3 minute commute, server crashes every Monday (no full Inbox), plenty Golf Courses, the only ministers are in the Church, flights to London for Pani Ss' shopping trips.....you don't even need to tell the kids you've moved !
