News / 2ND MIRACLE OF THE VISTULA: youth mysteriously appear out of nowhere! [231]

and didn't always remember

...and didn't always remember to pay for them when leaving the shop?! You, Hairy, are so full of sh*t you may well blow up any moment now. I'd hate to be within splatter range!

Hairy B*llocks would defend Grzegorz Piotrowski (Popiełuszko's killer) with somthing like "he was only doing his job". He'll defend crooked judges, the scamster PO party and even the devil himself as long as they are anti-PiS. Malevolent Anglo-expats should do us all a favour and refrain from meddling in Poland's affairs and telling Poles how to run their country. You seem to be missing one crucial point: MOST POLES DO NOT WANT TO TURN THEIR COUNTRY INTO A MULTI-CULTI CESSPOOL LIKE THE UK!

News / Poland has accepted over a million Ukrainian refugees. Why does the EU keep telling propaganda about Poland? [304]

American Christmas

American Christmas is one big hyper.commercilaised razzle-dazzle shopping binge that starts in OIctober when the first grinning Sandy Clutzes appear and Jingłle Bells, Frosty the SNowman and Chestnuts roasting in an open fire blare over shopping mall loudspeakers the length and breadth of the land. Some people actually put up Christmas trees in late November and chuck them out on 26 Devcember. Private homes get lit up like Coney Island, and then there's the mad dash to the "holiday tree" (that's in honour of the Big Mulatto fortunately no longer in office!) on Xmas morning to open presents and later it's that big Christmas turkey dinner which is really just a re-run of Thanksgiving. Next day it's business as usual. No St Stephen's or Boxing Day!

By contrast, there is nothing more beautful, solemn, inspiring and deeply symbolic than Polish Wigilia -- everything significant about Christmas takes place on that one single evening. Those are the most imporant several hours of the year. Yes, tacky Western-style commercialism has also been seeping into Poland, but so far at least the Wigilia tradition has held its ground.

the judge in question was caught

But he need not fear. That squat little toad Timmermans will go to bat for him as well as for the Soviet-era judges who sent Solidarity activists to jail. Never forget, Hairy Bollocks is also rooting for the toga-clad traitors. He'd be rooting for Piotrowicz too if he hadn't joined PiS.

Wałęsa said on FB that 15 PiS people

Even if it was only 15, is that how a Nobel Peace Prize winner is supposed to act?Who was to arrest them? Maybe instant imprisonment or even execution without worrying about such niceties as a trial?!

to apologise

Why don't you apologise for Popiełuszko's killers and their higher-ups who ordered it?
Re July 2017 -- It was all part of hotting up the amtosphere on both sides of the barridcade. Wałęsa said on FB that 15 PiS people hsould be arested and someone passed it on adding three zeroes. I happened to see it online at the 15,000 stage.

Just like the oppositon is still waiting for a 5AM knock ont he door and claimed a PiS-controlled High Court would annul election results it disapproved of. The amoutn of BS ciruclating over the past 2 weeks has certianly set a record, probably even more codswallop than in your posts.

In general, loudmouth Anglo-expats should not be allowed to interfere in and pontificate about Poland's internal affairs.

News / Was Kaczyński behind the presidential veto? [65]

Piotrowicz

But what does he have to do with the active commie-era judges who far outniumber your one Piotrowicz. The judges still dispensing "justice"(?!) to ordinary Poles not only applied to prosecute dissidents, as you have osbsessively repeated ad nauseam, but actually have dissidents and Solidarity activists on their conscience. But then what can one expect from a hypocrite the likes of HB?

Judicial independence

The rabble-rousers were chanting "wolne sądy" but they failed to add that under the thnakfully defunct PO regime they were not free of commies who had sent Solidarity activists to jail or bribe-takers in togas.

reactionary dictatorship

The reactionaries are on the "total opposition" side. Old commie Rzepliński openly said it's about having things as they were (Żeby było tak jak było!") Nothing more reactionary than wanting to restore a status quo swept into oblivion by voters in a democratic election!

young people also took to the streets

So you don't accept even the slightest possibility of outside influence and manipulation? What about the astroturfing? Do you really believe that Brazilians and Argentinians to a man oppose PiS and support the Polish opposition? They haven't the foggiest as to who Duda, Schetyna or Kaczyński is and their posts were all identical. A hundred thousand coincidences?

And the calls to overthrow the govnemrent Maidan style. What do you make of that?

there are millions of Poles who don't support PiS

And even more Poles do not support the PO scmaster party, their snobbish elites and the SB and TW types seeking refuge beneath the protective Platformer umbrella.

PiS doesn't lose anything from public protests

But that had indeed been the case for most of the 20 months. An exception was the failed Decemebr putsch attmept which for a time did seem touch and go. The strange thing about the second July putsch attempt was the very late appearance of young people in the final stretch. Anti-Acta OK, footie hooligans, ditto, but so far youth had been the conspicously absent from the KOD marches and most other anti-PiS protests. It's not surprisng then that their sudden appearance has triggered speculation of outside influence and possible fianancing via certian NGOs. Add to that the step-by-step overthrow scenarios circulated by the Maidan duo and the astroturfing operation that suggested that Latin America was all for PO adn against PiS. It deso make one think.

News / Was Kaczyński behind the presidential veto? [65]

Commentator Jan Bodakowski has suggested that Kaczyński, as a master strategist, may actually have masterminded Duda's veto. He compared it to the classic good cop-bad cop scenariowith Duda the good guy and Ziobro the villain. What do you think? I entertained that thought from the very beginning but thought no-one else evfen considered it. In politics, most anything is possible.

they just kind of died with nothing really taking their place

But now we've got numerous Soros-bankrolled NGOs including the Open Dialogue Foundation which renently circulated step by step instructions on how to overthrow Poland's government.

News / 2ND MIRACLE OF THE VISTULA: youth mysteriously appear out of nowhere! [231]

Duda's surprise initiative

When announcing his veto decision, President Duda said he expected criticism from both sides, and he wasn't wrong. Many Law and Justice politicians expressed dismay that the veto would undermine the reforms, although they have yet to see the president's legislative proposals. The opposition was generally in favor, but Civic Platform leader Grzegorz Schetyna insisted that all three reforms must be vetoed. "We will not let this go," he emphasized. And on the streets some of the protesters continued to rant, chant and pound the pavement. Poland is not an easy country to govern.

exactly what he would be at the next electio

Or earlier! Wałęsa has mentioned forcing the govenremnt to jump out of upstairs windows and helping them if they refuse. Komrowowski advocates whacking opponents with a wooden plank. Then there was the Laurel and Hardy of Polish sedition (Kramek & Broniatowski) with step by step instructions on how to bring down the Polish government. That included urging the creation of self-defence squads, switching off the electricity for the Sejm, Senate, government and presidential office and calling a general strike. Not very ballot-box-oriented moves, eh Atch?

News / 2ND MIRACLE OF THE VISTULA: youth mysteriously appear out of nowhere! [231]

Duda vetoes KRS and High Court reforms

Except for the country's well-paid judges who consider themselves a privileged and untouchable elite, many Poles with different political leanings have criticized the existing court system as ineffective, sluggish and often corrupt. Even simple cases can take years to resolve unless the plaintiff pays a pre-trial "visit" to the judge. The judiciary is also riddled with older judges who had sent dissidents and Solidarity activists to jail in communist Poland.

Whether Duda's surprise initiative will remedy those problem and restore some semblance of calm to a nation torn by unending political strife remains to be seen. Poland's liberal Civic Platform party has never come to terms with its 2015 election defeat and has attacked every decision of the conservative government ever since. But thanks to a robust economy and people-friendly legislation, Law and Justice continues to enjoy the Polish nation's highest support. In many surveys it has been double that of the Civic Platform.

explosion of activism

President Duda vetoes KRS and High Court reforms, offers to use legslative intiaitve to create his own version and present to the Sejm within two months. He also said the opposition had crossed the redline between the right to peacefully demonstrate and calls to ovethrow the authorities. The only place where the government can be overthrow is the polling station.

hypothetical scenarios

Should to situation get out of hand (something that cannot be entirely ruled out) with vioence spreading to different cities, is it inconceivable that NATO would agree to set up an internal peace-keepng mission to patrol streets with Polish police and army troops? Sounds outlandish, but history is full of surprises and unexpected twists. The advantage of this is that Polish protesters might be more reluctant to attack or disobey NATO or American troops. NATO might agree to that solution to avert distrubances along their eastern flank.
