There is also obsolete (more or less, depending the region of Poland) forms: stryj and stryjenka. BUT these are not equal to wujek/ciocia.
Wujek is our parent brother, while stryj is our parent sister's husband.
Ciotka is our parent sister, while stryjenka is our parent brother's wife.

In other words: stryj is ciotka's husband, while stryjenka is wujek's wife.

Frankly, I don't give a damn if Ukraine really paid or not - because if Russia wanted to play fair with their EU partners then she would not shut the pipe off, at the very least not so quickly and decisive.

It is obvious that sooner or later Russia and Ukraine are fated to sign new contract - until then, EU being warned could brace yourself for the troubles.

This 24% shortage is only mere prelude for what will happen, if the Ribbentrop-Molotov pipe opens.

Yes, catastrophy to the natural enviroment. In the depths of Baltic there are tons of chemical weapons from both World Wars. It's ecological time bomb, which should be someday disarmed. But building Nord Stream is not the way to do this, in fact it's quite the opposite.

How about Sweden, are they disallowed to care about enviroment too?

Uhm. Just one question - how this, classically deadlocked company, somehow managed to sell gas earlier to Ukraine and Poland, and now - suddenly - they can't do this anymore. Heck, how this company ever worked, if there was exact 50% of shares and influence - from one side 50% of Gazprom (one of the biggest companies in the world) and second 50% of... two Ukrainian private businesmen.

I bet those two Ukrainians are pulling the strings now, yeah, that's for sure! *smirk*

The point is such localization hasn't been done yet, and doing them was not included in Nord Stream project. That's why Sweden is opposing it... and you can believe them as they really doesn't have any other business than ecology here.


Just try to imagine yourself how Baltic ground looks like... yuck.
It's not an easy job to do. And it must cost money. Lots of them.
