I've never even heard of Elisabeth Hurley and I don't understand how dare you even compare ordinary girls from the streets with movie stars/models. Don't you know the power of photoshop and cosmetic surgeries? With the amount of money stars waste to look good, you would save lives of 10000 kids in Africa. Living in both: Poland and England I might share my observations: English girls dress up better but Polish girls have way much class in a way they behave like.

There are always black sheeps, are you not mature enough to know this already? I'm a young person myself and have been to clubs/pubs in England. Girls get completely drunk, let guys touch them all over if are offered a drink, sick themselves outside and swear loudly. I've never seen that in Poland, that's what all the 'cultural shock' was for me about. Have you been to Poland? Do you speak Polish? It's probably not quite the same to judge a Polish nation if you're English, living in England, speaking English.

I disagree. I think it's easier to get into troubles and real fights while beeing in Poland. In the UK people just speak out loud what they would want to do to you but somehow never manage to :-)

Little places are even worse. In Warsaw or Krakow people got used to foreigners but eslewhere they are still something very new and eventually worrying for natives. While living in the UK all I was getting were all sorts of verbal abuse, in Poland someone tried to rape me and my brother was stabbed with the kinfe.

That's what I always do. Sometimes they don't want to stay out of your ways though! I don't blame the whole Polish nation for what happened, I think Poles are great!

I have a feeling this thread's title should be changed into "Look how pretty I am". Funnily enough, when you go on "Post your picture thread" most posts there have no pictures. That only happens on polishforums. One person uploads a picture and then people talk about it for 3 pages.

Of course you can. Go to Profil -> Edytuj Profil -> Prywatność. Untick the box that says: Nie pokazuj innym, że oglądałem ich profil (jednocześnie nie będziesz widzieć kto oglądał Twój profil) and confirm the changes clicking Zapisz. Nobody will be able to see you have viewed their profile yet you won't be informed about people viewing yours either. I hope it helps!

It's kind of worse when you think of it - on Polishforums we don't normally really know each other, we don't provide any personal information such as our names, place and date of birth, schools we have attended to etc. Whereas on Nasza-Klasa creating an alter ego profile with fake information that is provided in order to spy on somebody, unambiguously means to me a violation of human privacy!

I must agree with you - peadophiles have become a plague all over the Internet and only the thought of how those sick people can with ease have an open access to the personal information, as well as get in touch with kids, gives me sleepless nights! I agree, unfortunately many parents don't like to know what they kids need the Internet for... Perhaps the access to social networking websites should not be allowed if you're under 18 but then again the forbiden fruit tastes the sweetest and there is no possible way to prove how old you are if you set up an Internet account. This wouldn't be something common when I was little. Blimey, I got my first mobile phone when I was 16!

You're most likely not the only one and while I believe this is possible to find Polish women unattractive this must due to the way they act, their accent or customs. It's not like they all look the same and you sound ridiculous saying it's something about their faces.

Nigdzie nie pisałam, że uważam te portale za wiarygodne źródła wiedzy ale mówiąc, że ludzie ich nie czytają i nie biorą ich na poważnie, mijamy się z prawdą. Sam mówisz, że brukowiec a czytasz nie tylko artykuły ale nawet komentarze.

Wracając do tematu (nie jest nim jakość samego portalu), wystarczy spojrzeć na komentarze pod poniższym artykułem. Wiele napisanych jest w języku angielskim lub rosyjskim i podważa jakoby rosyjskie media źle przedstawiały polskę. Ich ogólne przesłanie jest takie, że w Rosji nikogo Polska nie obchodzi, o Polsce się nie mówi i niewiele wie. Co w takim razie robią ci ludzie na polskim portalu, czytając polski artykuł i jeszcze go komentując? Wiele poprzednich artykułów zawierało silnie pro-rosyjskie komentarze, zazwyczaj w języku polskim i z reguły pełne błędów. Co do polskich świrów - zgadzam się, nie brakuje malkontentów, którzy wylewają żółć. Czy to oni czy faktycznie Rosjanie? Po prostu wydaje mi się to interesujące.
