News / Poland's post-election political scene [4080]

where did it go?

That's a very good question. The fact remains that so vast a sum coudl not have simply vnsaisherd without the complicity of Tusk era finance and treasury officials, police, prosecutors and/or ABW (internal security). For their inaction and looking the other way, some of them must've got a generous cut of the action!

budget

For the first time since the finance ministry started publishing such statistics 25 years ago, Poland this year has achieved a budget surplus rather than the customary post-commie deficit. Someone asked a ministry official how that was possible and he replied: "It sufficed not to steal!" From 40-60 billion zł slipped through the cracks during each year of PO/PSL misrule, Some foreign analysts have placed the figure as high as 150 billion.

One wonders how PF's notorious PiS-bashers will react to that news. Maybe "Gazeta Prawna is a fascist rag" or "Only the Kosher Courier can be believed". They can always dredge up SKOK or some such.

he is more than correct so far

It's good to know that some posters have the kmnowledge and competence to challenge and debunk PF's Liar Laureate's steady stream of untruths.

he Platformers,

The noose is tightening round Warsaw's Witch Mayor's neck. Her signature is on the document approving the transfer of a choice parcel of real estate to a Maciej M. who had evicted the middle school with a 100-year tradition housed in the building and had it moved from central Warsaw toi Mokotów so he could lay claim to the property. Afraid to face the commission, she is twittering her excuses instead where she isn't under oath. The PO is so premeaetd with scams and affairs that it's no wonder Tusk is said to be mulling setting up a new party to replace the scamster Platform ahead of the 2019 polls (see Rzeczpospolita).

Genealogy / Want to find a person [762]

Deby Szlacheckie,

Dęby Szlacheckie (Noble Oaks) is a village in west-central Poland's Wielkopolska region. To find out if any Włośniak or Głośniak still lives there, phone the village office in Osiek Mały, the jurisdiction to which Dęby belongs: from the US 011 48 63 262 4172, and ask for Ewidencja Ludności (Population section). Tell them you are from America and seeking your relatives. They may not give you the address but may agree to say whether anybody by that name lives in their jurisdiction. If you are not fluent in Polish, get someone who is to make the call.

News / Poland has accepted over a million Ukrainian refugees. Why does the EU keep telling propaganda about Poland? [304]

Italy as they have enough problems

Indeed, they have paid for their colonial-era sins. Actually it should be England, France, Spain adn Portugal as the biggest colonial offenders that should accept the Muslim hordes and pay the price. Germany only had a West African colony, but maybe the bloodbath of the Hitler era should be tacked on to theri guilt burden.

constantly beat their breasts and apologise for being white

I can understand the post-colonial guilt feelings of some European elites, and Germany's Merkel is still trying to live down the Hitler legacy. But declared homos defending the Muslim intruders when sexual deviates would be at the head of the decapitation queue if Shariah law ever took hold. That made no sense whatsoever.

Unless one looks at the Frankfurt School, a group of Jewish scholars that fled Germany in the 1930s in the nick of time and emigrated to the USA, mainly California. One of their notions was that minorities are always right and must be defended, whilst majorities are quite the opposite and must be opposed. As European intellectuals, they easily slipped into American academia where they and their ilk have ruled the roost for decades, indoctrinating students to hate patriotism and their cultural heritage. To that general Zeitgeist one can trace rock'n'roll, the civil rights and anti-war movements, homo-promotion, feminism, political correctness and the overall counterculture that started in the 1960s. Those and similar developments have brought about what is often referred to as "the decline of Western culture" or "the decay of Western civilisation". Fortunately, there are now increasing indications that the many-decades-long stranglehold of what has been called "cultural marxism" is now in decline. Brexit, Trump, Kaczyński, Orbán and patriotic revivals in France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Denmark and other countries, the growing number of young people interested in their nation's history, heritage, historical re-enactments and military reserve units, "Żołnierze Wyklęci" and the AK's Polska Walcząca anchor symbol on T-shirts instead of Hendrix and Che Guevara - all seem to be pointing in that direction.

News / Poland has accepted over a million Ukrainian refugees. Why does the EU keep telling propaganda about Poland? [304]

EU is ideologically driven outdated mafia like organisation

Will the frogs never learn? Swarms of rampaging Third World migrants attacked a car in which a couple of Polish fiancés were traveling several km from Calais. The swarthy-faced scum pounded on the car, one brandished a pistol, another jumped on the bonnet, but luckily the Poles managed to drive a way only to find a barricade of flaming branches down the road. In the mirror they could see scores of the dusky vermin running after them so they had no choice but to crash through the blazing barricade, damaging their car in the process.

Dont' the frog police have shootable nets that can engulf an entire crowd and drag them to some penal compound? The same nets should be used againt Hamburg*s lefitst scum. The rights of decent, peaceful, law-abiding citizens should always take precedence over those of criminals, wreckers and rampaging loons. Unfortunatrely, the wimpy West Europeans don't agree and think they must constantly beat their breasts and apologise for being white, Christian and European.

unrelated event

Someone with lots of free time on their hands coudl compile an extremely long litany of the PO scorn industry's unruly disruption of every type of gathering, commemoration, exhibition, cultural event, religious service or other public occasion for the sole purpose of discrediting the democratically elected government. That includes their failed pre-Christmas parliamentary "putsch" and occupation of the Sejm.

Hey, but they're not alone. There are plenty of similar a*seholes in America specialising in round-the-clock Trump-bashing. Głupich nie sieją, sami się rodzą!

wishing to pray at his brother's grav

Just another example what the hooligan a*seholes do. They try to prevent Jarosław praying at his brothers's grave in Wawel Cathedral. One could list myriad examples of villainous disruption of i.a. a Poznań 1956 anniversary or a Gen. Anders commmemoration. Nothing to do with h current poltics but an opportunity to take a swipe at the government -- and that's all the pathetic losers live for. More and more PO voters are catching on to their party's lack of a progrmame, foolish disruptionism and sterile rhetoric. Who knows how many local councils they will still control after the next election. The bettng is that the number will be drastically reduced. Old Abe Lincoln foresaw such chicanery when he said: "You can't fool all of the people all of the time!"

it's a political rally first

Again putting the cart before the horse. It was the KOD, Obywatele RP and sundry hooligans that have turned a solemn commemoration into a political showdown with scuffles thrown in as an added "attraction".

Your skewed masters will probabyl tell you that someone wishing to pray at his brother's grave is politicisng things. Could it be that the real politicisers are those who try to make it into the media by preventing someone paying his respects to a loved one, lying in the road, staging noisy demos and scuffling with police? Back in 1939 peope of your ilk would be proclaiming from the rooftops that Poland started WW2 by attacking Germany. "See what those dirty Pollacks did by attacking a German radio station at Gleiwiwtz!"

I eagerly await

I eagerly await Mayfixit's conversion to a rational evaluaiton of the utter frustration and impotent fury of the losers' club which will stop at nothing to besmirch, revile and badmouth those whom the Polish nation have chosen to vote PO/PSL out of office. Even people siding with the oppositon say Schetynsa made a total fool of himself at his convention by merely pouring scorn on PiS rather than presenting coherent, alternative programme. Has the PO hate industry completly infected your brain? As a hard-nosed capitalist and pro-market fanatic, have you forgotten the former PO line: It can't be done, that's impossible, it'll break the budget, everything will collapse, etc,. etc. ad nauseam. And yet PIS have shown it can be done. By properly enforcing VAT Poland has gained as much as it gets each year from the EU? Under PO/PSL, all that money went into scamster pockets. 500+ has exceeded everyone's wildest dreams. Not only has it stimulated child-bearing but has pump-ptrimed the economy by increasing consumption, employment and production. And it was all for free! Morawiecki did what he said he'd do at the outset: upgrade VAT enforcement and use the money to bankroll 500+. The results: budget deficit lowest on record, inflation and unemployment at record lows, foreign investments, production and exports growing... Have the losers' club already given you their official guidlines on how to explain all that away to the gullible?

not a commemoration. It's a political rally

You never can think for yourself, can you, only mouth the loser club's current line?
Wałęsa may have bitten off more than he can chew by throwing in with the hooligan disrupters of the memorial observance. Some of the vicitms of his snitchery are reportedly planning to attend for the benefit of idiots who still claim Wałęsa is lily-white and crystal-pure. One wonders what skewed and distorted explanaiton the losers' club and their kosher mouthpiece will concoct to convince their gullible flock?

On the 10th of May

So that would make the 10th July one the 88th. Word is going round that some of the vicitms who suffered because of Wałęsa's sntiching on them to the SB will be on hand to tell their story. That should be good! The hard, full truth v an inflated and doctored legend!

shocking for me.

That's part of the Catholic mystique. At mass I often hear: "This mass is being celebrated in the intention of, let's say, Andrzej Rumiński on the 32nd mournful (bolesna) anniversary of his death. Recently I heard one annoucement on the 65th anniversary. A second generation must be invovled in that spiritual relay.

Schakraffe magretta

The first part was probably the well-known but mild curse psia krew (literally: dog's blood). Dunno what the Magretta part might be. Perhaps a feminine name?

the opportunity to march

It would surprise everyone if PiSlamic, who belives Poland, Poles and all things Polish are "crappy", decided NOT TO march with the enemies of Poland, Targowica-style traitors trying to internaitonalise Poland's internal disptues. If Brussels weren't so wimpy and had their own fighting force, you can bet your bottom złoty they'd be calling for military intervention. And PiSlamic would be cheering them on from the sidelines.

Paid commie-era snitchers, VAT fraudsters and child-maintenance shirkers, sex-slave traffickers, SB OAPs and other unsavoury types are the ideal rogues' gallery marchers that fit the likes of PiSlamic live a glove!

Proven

By professional graphologists and IPN and by Wałęsa himself. In his book he wrote: "I did not come out of that encounter (his 1970 arrest) entirely clean. They imposed a condition: sign. And so I signed."

In an interview with Monika Olejnik he admitted to signing a pledge to collaborate. "Everybody was signing so I also signed," he said.
Then there was the admisison that "I signed everything except a betrayal of God" in a statement sent to PAP in 1992. Half an hour later, he withdrew it. I was there and it was a big sensation in foreign-correspondents' circles.

But that only humanises him. Everyone has the right to stray and blunder, but one can always confess one's sinsm repent and return to the straight and narrow.

Wałęsa to join trouble-makers disrupting July's Smolensk commemoration

Lech Wałęsa, a proven commie-era paid informer, intends to join protesters planning to disrupt July's Smolensk commemoration. Viciously anti-government media such as Gazeta Wyborcza, Newsweek and TVN are hoping a punch-up occurs so they can send into the world photos of the Nobel Peace Prize laureate confronting police. Those are the same media that have been smearing Poland in the international arena for the past 20-some months. Interior Min. Mariusz Błaszczak remarked: "No-one is above the law regarldess of what his name happens to be."

Food / Poles have a more loving attitude to food than here in the UK [89]

Would that work in Poland?

In small villages it would where everyone knows everybody else and people would be ashamed to steal. But in towns and cities...urban concentrations provide the anonymity which fosters crime.
