trust me the right side will get the knives out and murder a lot quicker

Good. I am the right side. :) I don't intend to murder anyone though; I'll just eat popcorn and watch the whole comedy with mild amusement.

As for the PiS bolsheviks--I wouldn't count on any acts of bravery from them. The cowards are only good at beating up protesting women or hiding behind the police backs. Their problem is: they no longer control the police. :)

News / Poland - A True Bastion and Defender of Free Speech [257]

And of course there is freedom of speech in Poland. For example, I can freely say that in overall crime rate our American friends and allies are placed right between Laos and Burkina Faso. The statistical data is freely available...

wisevoter.com/country-rankings/crime-rate-by-country/

... and Poles have freedom of speech to talk about it. The USA - for example - is slightly (a little tiny bit) better in this regard than Madagascar or Haiti, but unfortunately worse than Guinea Bissau or Republic of the Congo. So, for safe holidays you would be better off going to Congo than the USA.

Luckily things like: racial diversity, multi-million immigration, gay marriage and woke cancel culture make up for the daily danger in American streets! :)

@Novichok

What's the point of the post above? There's way more ugly graffiti in the streets all over your beloved America. The only difference is that there is not nearly as many junkies and homeless people on Polish streets as there are on American. Oh, and the probability of being murdered is also much lower in Poland. :)

claiming that he is now a worker-peasant eagle

Although I must admit it was a masterclass trolling from Russia and fully repaid what happened in 1612 in terms of national humiliation.

As a Russian, I am conditioned to see in Poles traitorous schemers.

Excuse me?

It wasn't Poland who ganged up on Russia and partitioned her for over 100 years.
It wasn't Poland who brutally quenched Russian independence uprisings.
It wasn't Poland who decided to start a world revolution and roll our armies through Russia on our way to global communism.
It wasn't Poland who made Russia's eagle take off his crowns from both his heads, claiming that he is now a worker-peasant eagle.

And we are the traitorous schemers?

News / Time to clean the swamp - dePiSification of Poland [324]

hfhr.pl/aktualnosci/stanowisko-hfpc-ws-zmian-w-mediach-publicznych

Read the first paragraph in your link, and you will understand the necessity of what is happening wtth PiS-controlled public media at the moment.

you know you went a bit mad

Well, if a mugger assaults your wife, you don't start a cultured debate with him but you punch the thug in the face and sell him a kujawiaczek when he's down on the ground. You're actually supposed to go a bit mad in such case. That's exactly what Tusk is doing in regards to the public media in Poland. He's not dealing with ordinary public media, like the British of French ones, but with a bunch of thugs who turned the media (especially TVP) into their private hateful szczujnia. In such case you don't negotiate or debate - you punch the c*nts right in their bolshevik faces.

I must say that the government is conducting the affair rather smoothly, despite the laud squeal of the pigs whose trough is being taken away. And the latest action of putting public media into the state of liquidation was a grandmaster move. :)

I insulted others, too

You insulted individual posters. That is absolutely OK and basically what internet fora were invented for. By all means carry on. However, if you continue with your "I hate Poles", "stupid Polaks" etc., then you move from individual insults into a very dangerous area of anti-Polish slurs which I will fight against with all the venom and viciousness that I can find in my fundamentally kind, Christian heart.

Are you mental?

Now, that is a question nobody can honestly and accurately answer, isn't it?

Off-Topic / Best posters [902]

Special Award for the Month of December goes to...

Bobko

It never ceases to amaze me that this guy is here. I mean, would I go to a Russian board and stay there enduring Russian amiga500s, cmf neufs and mafketises writing about Poland what some people here write about Russia? I think I can safely say that I would rather have sexual intercourse with a hedgehog. And yet, Bobko - with a truly Slavic long suffering and endurance - is still with us: unashamedly imperialistic, erudite, putinist and charming (and I dislike only one of these four qualities :)).

Honorary mentions go to Velund for very similar reasons and to ConstantineK for once again becoming more civilised ;)

The rest of my Top posters from #556 remains unchanged with one notable addition of Pawian who finally makes it to my favourite posters list with our long-awaited cease-fire slowly turning into an online friendship (a rather coarse and volatile one but still).

Also, I take Amiga500 off the worst posters list. He has some redeeming qualities. I still haven't figured out what they are, but he has them.

90% of Poles would gladly do what I did

Nie mierz innych swoją miarą, Rysiu-pysiu.

Life is short. I have a right to spend the best way I can.

Sure.

But you have no right to insult my country and my people. If you keep doing that, we will have a problem.

Mermaid on a beach: 1964

This enchanting Syrena (Mermaid) 103 was a 100% Polish construction (no licence bought in the "rotten West" aided the design and production of this car). Over 500,000 Syrenas in various versions (sedan, cabrio, truck, mini-van) were manufactured in years 1957-1983.

Guarding the border: 1985

Two border guards at work. Notice that the eagle on the border post and the eagles on the guards' caps are crownless. This is because those were peasant-worker eagles unlike today's bourgeois-monarchist eagles sporting golden crowns. ;)

Urbs celeberrima: 2023

Let's get back to the present day and to "mainland Poland" with this photo of our good, old Cracow. One cannot deny the importance of this city to Polish soul. Before WW2 there were four main cities that defined Polish identity: Warsaw, Lwów, Wilno and Cracow (of course, there were others like Toruń or Poznań but the four I mentioned were the mainstays of Polishness). After the war Lwów and Wilno were taken away by the Soviet Union and Warsaw lay in ruins. Only Cracow was left and until this very day this city remains dear to every Polish heart.

A word of explanation, before someone gets a wrong idea:

Why do I consider transsexual people to be OK, as opposed to trans Americans (like Ryszard), trans Brits, trans French etc. who are an ungodly aberration? For a very simple reason: if one is a transsexual person, one rejects only his gender - a single factor in his identity, which might be caused by some medical condition or inborn fault or some sort of psychological changes, I'm not a speacialist but I am tolerant and have nothing against such people.

Being a transnational/transcultural person, like Ryszard, is much worse because you abandon everything that you are - your origins, history, culture, language, and it is not caused by any developmental defect but by your conscious choice. Disgusting*. Transnationals (like Ryszard) who hate their country of origin and pretend not to have anything to do with it are precisely what's wrong with the West today - SELF-HATE. It is even worse when such people openly express their hate and spout hateful nonsense on internet boards (like Ryszard does here).

Polish-Americans, who had to emigrate for many reasons but still keep their traditions, use their language and feel certain bond with their country of origin, are lovely people. The same goes for British or French people of Polish origin. But self-hating transnational arseholes like Ryszard Mazur (can you imagine a more Polish name?) really annoy me. They destroy the old values, everything that a conservative person holds dear - I cannot condone such neo-marxist, self-hating nonsense.

* - even more disgusting when it happens in the first generation. Children or grandchildren of transnational people will obviously develop a strong bond with the country they are born in - it's the country of their birth after all. For first generation self-hating transnationals there is no excuse.

I know that you regard me as a non Pole

What do YOU regard yourself as?

You defended this ircorrigible Pole-hater, Ryszard, in another thread. I never considered you to be a Pole hater but now I'm not sure. So, who are you?

I was to Lwów once as a kid and was enchanted with the city - Ukrainians are taking very good care of it, just like Lithuanians are taking great care of Wilno, and I'm sure - although I've never been there - Belarussians love their Grodno and Brześć. But the amount of suffering, destroyed lives and broken hearts involved in the changes was immense. Let's hope no "genius" on either side of any border ever tries to repeat the history again.
