I don't know about you but I definitely make a distinction between food which is necessary for humans and unnecessary item of clothing that only feeds vanity.

Anyway as far as I know those standards are fine, at least in Poland.

Are you not aware that this whole issue reemerged after an undercover report o one of such forms?

I didn't see the video but from what I read it was said jokingly and it seems he was convinced by his friends but it's no excuse.

My friend has a roommate at Uni who was laying to her parents the rent is higher so she can send the excess to Rydzyk.

That is why PiS sucks up to him so much.

His attitude towards animals is one of his very few good points. How on earth did he agreed to Szyszko as Environment Minister is beyond me.

Kaczyński already tried once but had to back down. Hopefully this time he will see it through.

I can see my friend's birthday flower- bez. I love it too. If I remember correctly it is completely troubless flower. It grows like a weed :)

I love konwalie. If I ever get crazy enough to agree to a wedding it would be my theme flower.

I also like piwonie. Do you have any?

Great idea but try to make it more then the usual cliches. Forget 'how are you' . 'good morning' etc. Try to think of something better. I think even 'enjoy your day/night' would be more original and therefore nicer to hear.

Other then that noone here can really help you. She is an individual and as such no statistic or stereotype will apply. She is a human being that may or may not be similar to other Polish women

almost dead quiet.

I've heard that is supposed to change as it posses a danger. I myself once stepped in front of electric car as there was no sound or lights to indicate it will move.

And of course people with poor sight who often rely on the sounds of approaching cars...

Belittling? Because I told you that your romanticized, simplistic image of the potential people living there is stupid? Well, it is.
I worked in a factories and I know the countryside and that cr*p about salt of the earth is hilarious to me. They are all the same just the decorations change. Instead of 'what my followers on insta will say' it's 'what my neighbour will say'. Instead of 'that dress will look amazing in the club' it's 'this dress will look amazing in church'.

You have good people and bad people, the rest doesn't mean a sh*t.

Och my, nice memories. I did a lot of growing up there during trecking camp

you will meet the humble Polish people who are not out to impress anyone.

With such simplistic view of human nature you will be disappointed no matter where you go.

Oh my, something for my taste! Forget all the fancy marinated meat - give me grilled Podwawelska with a baguette with garlic butter and a beer and I'm the happiest girl alive :)

Oh give it a break. If anything it has more to do with doctors wanting extra income. And yes, your parents said yes so the consent was given. You weren't kidnapped but your parents made one of those decisions every parent does many times during kids lifetime. You just don't like what they decided.

Back in the day it was probably hygene. When people didn't have easy access to washing facilities etc it probably made sense. After stuff becomes tradition or religious event people turn off their brains and stop asking why so it carried on.
