Food / Is Społem popular in Poland [8]

In my hometown we still have a few including one in the square.

Plus:
-usually good/great localized
-local produce 99%. I even once saw.a farmer just delivering some leeks,lettuce etc in a small hand held wagon
-usually pretty good selection of goods considering space.

Cons:
-awful, and I mean AWFUL customer service. That takes like first 10 places
-no promotions etc. Flat, not so low, prices.
-outdated, not nice interior. unaesthetic

1. I hope you understand that most people don't give a damn about nobility? It doesn't cross their mind at all.

2. Are you willing to stay at home to look after the kids for few years? And how many is 'several' (I believe the word comes from the number 7... :) )

4. I hope you take into account the changes all those kids will do to her body...

6. Yeah, it is important to have similar worldviews/outlook on life. However judging by your posts your faith is the very center and 99.9% of people I know are not like that.

Generally I don't believe in lists like that. We meet someone and either we 'buy' the whole package or not. But good luck in sesrching

People are angry. They have every right to be. A delicate balance of many years was broken. If the government thought they will get away with it scot free they were dreaming

Oh yeah, if Konfederacja said so it must be true...

There is no legal abortions happening now anyway due to the pandemic. It's stupid to protest now.

Tell that to the government who decided to do it now.Why couldn't they just wait to the end of pandemic?

And who told you there is no abortions now?

No, it would be stupid to do so. It would be way overdue, everybody would be like 'why now suddenly' and it would force many families to deal with the current change .

Why the government doesn't say ok, it seems there is a lot of social unrest, we will keep the old rules till the end of pandemic? Wouldn't that be responsible?

you see a problem with that?

If that is what they want - no. But the choice should be theirs. Especially if it's the case of the lethal diseases.

Yes, but we have the fate of many families at stake. Not for a year or two but for many years to come.

What ppl should do in your opinion? Do you think protests in a year time would make any sense? And how many women would be affected in that time?

So they should accept anything government does? Seriously? If it was banning Catolicism would you sit nicely and quietly at home?

If people can go to churches and could attend political meetings they can definitely protest in an open air.

What is strange about it?
Either PiS did it now because they hoped ppl won't protest or they did it to distract ppl from Covid. Either way it's on them.

Protesting half a year or a year would be pointless

They do. If pregnancy is early they simply order the drugs online. If it's later they help you organise everything. In an article I read the women said it was 500 euro for abortion in Berlin

Forcing a women to carry and give birth to a baby that won't survive the birth or die soon after is awful in my opinion.

I think it will backfire. Women will be even less eager to get pregnant. And if they will find out the baby is sick they will be more likely to abort. Instead of going home and discussing with the father, maybe parents and siblings she will run home to google 'abortion Czech' and keep her mouth shut. More fear will work against keeping the baby
