Explain please what is so "totally different"?

Africans differ,just like Europeans do but basically you are right.I know a guy from Nigeria and he is laughing even when he's in troubles where I would be pissed.(e.g his car broke down).

In fairness now that is because of a ridiculously sexiest law which has bankrupt some companies for not having a mandatory 40% Corporate Board Seats which Must be Female.

Exactly.Freaking ridiculous.Now they are talking about introducing this kind of law in the US.Nobody will ever convince me that this is fair and not discriminating.I may be wrong but my understanding of fairness is that the best man for the job should get the position wheter it's male,female,black,white, yellow or whatever.

You make no sense now since you are same color as Indians.Why do you think you are better than them?Don't get me wrong Tiger,as much as I don't want milions of Indians,Pakistanis,blacks or Sri Lankans for that matter to live in PL I don't despise anybody personally because of his/her country of origin.Acctually, it happend that some Indian helped me at some point of my life and did not want to take any money for the favor.I also had contact with some Sri Lankans and they were ok though very cheap.So enlighen me what makes Sri Lankans better than Indians?

It's naive and silly to expect people to know that you aren't Indian but Sri Lankan.What's is the difference anyway?I don't mean to be offensive but from mine and most Poles perspective it really makes no difference.Now, if you are afraid of being stared at DON'T GO.I am a white Pole and last time I visited PL a lot of people was staring at me because I was wearing sun glasses and it was winter (very nice $250 sunglasses I have to add).My point is that it has nothing to do with them being racists or not but everything with you looking different.

I was advised by many of my polish friends and girlfriend to be careful when visiting Poland and try and avoid it if possible.

With this kind of attitude (looking for racism everywhere) maybe you should not go because surely you will find some.

A bit hard to imagine that this is still the case in the 21st century.

Is it really?It more seems that your imagination is kinda limited.My Nigerian friend told that if I went with him to his town in Nigeria EVERYONE would be staring at me and even for some reason wanted to touch me because I am white.Hard to imagine?Not for me.

I will just have to wear my passport and return air ticket on my neck, to show any potentially threatened locals that I'm only on holiday and intend to go back !!

-Food: 10 Even in smaller towns we have everything to eat you can imagine, from traditional American dishes to every sort of authentic ethnic cuisine. If you can't find what you want to eat here you're not likely to find it anywhere.

That's not true.Find me a Polish bread or sausage in Millsboro or Selbyville DE.Will ya?And I am not talking what Americans call "Polish sausage" (which is not edible IMO) but authenic stuff.The nearest places where you can get it are either Baltimore MD or NJ.Now if you are talking Mexican food then I agree you can get it everywhere.

It would be nice just to drive into Lithuania and explain them minority rights in Wilno.With well prepared plan we could control the whole country within 24 hours.They have nothing,no air force whatsoever,no tanks and only 230 old APC's (mainly American M113).With support of Polish minority it would be piece of cake.Political support from Russia would be needed though(we could give them support in Latvia's case) and their S 400's.

Yes it is.Just like saying that Germans steamrolled over Poland in 1939 and Americans say that.They didn't.Only France fought a bit longer but they were not attacked from every direction nor surprised with blitzkrieg tactic.Poland has put a hell of the fight under that circumstances and saying that Germans steamrolled over Poland is bashing the country and highly offensive to Poles.Phuck, Denmark fought for 2 HOURS.

I guess you misunderstood me.My point is that even when I am talking **** about Poland it is still my country.I may hate the state and goverment of Poland but I still love Poland.Not any foraigner's case me think.

You are not wrong,some take it as an insult but they are minority.Majority don't care.My whole family has 10 years visas and they visited me once.None of them would ever think about staying here illegaly and work a menial job.They came,saw what's the big deal is about,spent a lot of money (which they brought from Poland) and left.Funny thing is that Americans sometimes asked me "do you send money home?" while in reality there were times when my family in Poland had to support me here.

I don't think he's criticizing Poland and Poles as much as Polish-XXXX, whatever nationality, as overstating their connection to Poland and having more of a say in Polish politics than people that live her long term (and of course pay expensive taxes, VAT, etc). Just an observation, not necessarily one that I agree with.

There is a difference between a Pole and a foraigner criticizing Poland.As a Pole it is my God given right to criticize it all I want since this is "my" country.And if I criticize I do it only because I care for Poland and want it to be better.Same goes for most of other Poles,however hearing a foraigner talking **** about Poland puts me on defence and I will defend it no matter what.And it isn't only Poles doing this but also all other nationals.You Americans do same thing when someone says that US is not a perfect or greatest country.

The vocal Polish American community hasn't been able to budge the state department on the visa waiver program.

Oh please let it rest.Seriously 90% of Poles do not give a flying phuck about this issue.I don't go any country which requires visas for Poles.I will not let anybody to harras me in order to spend my money in his country.
