Hi all, I have commercial modeling and singing experience. Is it hard for such people to live in Poland?

Not at all. It is quite helpful, at least in my case. I did some modelling in my youth. Today, every year, when I notice that my students don`t respect me enough, I show them my portfolio photos. The impression I make on them is so immense I have no problems whatsoever with keeping discipline in class later on.

I never thought too much about it; the bills came, so I paid them. Will take a look at them later.

Probably the chargeback is not only for water but also other utilities, especially heating. But the winter has been mild this year, so you should have an overcharge at last.

450 PLN per month for czynsz water included is not much.

It is only bills and maintanance costs. Landlords charge their own rent, too.

I get "wyrównanie opłat za media" every 6 months

That`s strange. When they charge you extra costs after a calendar year, they include the last usage into advanced payment for the next year. If the chargeback is 500 PLN every 6 months as you say, it means each year you use more and more water.

I am paying 450 pln for bills already.

I pay 100 PLN more and the water usage is calculated at 122 PLN each month for a big family.

Exactly. Reminds me of an old Polish theatre play I watched once on communist TV - a German SS officer comes to the Polish gentry manor to find out about his ancestors. After some research in archives and questioning witnesses, he learns they were Jewish. He breaks down but Poles promise not to reveal his secret to anybody. hahaha That was a funny comedy with great actors.

His wife can be expert`s assistant and advise him how to do sth. Also, she may draw his attention to details he overlooks coz he thinks too globally. Who said she is going to decide about crucial matters???

Pay her the money and listen to her

As for paying, the expert is paid already so he can share with his wife. As for listening, a wise person listens to everybody and then draws his or her own conclusions. I thought it it obvious. :)

The evidence is stacked against your belief but maybe you will be lucky.

One thing is for sure - he won`t act like that PiS puppet and clown Duda. :):)

There are so many of them here I don`t know where to start.

E.g.,
Soon, on the 5th of May, we will be celebrating the Day of Dignity of the Intellectually Disabled. It is held in big cities and small towns.

That is a very conservative male chauvinist thinking. :):) Fortunately, a lot of Polish female voters think different. They will gladly vote for a male president if he is backed up by a reasonable woman.

Yes, promises promises, can he be trusted? Judging by the merit and history of his party - not at all.

Yes, party is good-for-nothing. But Kamysz said: I won`t let them make another Adrian of me. I think he is going to keep his word about it.

Yes, it is so sad that some fanatics are ready to murder other people only for being different than themselves. Today they kill LGBT, tomorrow intellectually disabled, in the future physically disabled and so on. The society will be purified of all unneccessary elements at last.

WKK is getting a lot of praise for his performance today.

It was a nice blow to PiS who criticize KK for his words: I won`t let them make another Adrian out of me. :):)

Also, KK`s wife promised to be different than the First Silent Lady now.

A lot can happen until May, but unless Duda changes something drastically about his campaign, he's going to lose shamefully.

Seeing Duda lose support, PiS will announce another Wunderwaffe. E..g, lower retirement age or increase of pensions. The elderly will like it, of course.

Yes, some of those comments are so funny. hahaha I admire people`s ingenuity in creating quick mocking remarks, I lack such skills.

Examples: Gryzelda (Bitilda). She is strong in the mouth - mocna w gębie (loudmouthed). The crucial question is - was she vaccinated? After Jacek Kurski, we have another PiS bullterrier. Female vampire! Let her have a mouth on her for the enemies of PiS. How about biting off Lichocka`s middle finger? How about borrowing a face mask from Hannibal Lecter? Grizzly, President`s bear. Rodent. Betty showed claws, Lichocka showed a finger, Jola - show your teeth! No wonder they gave her this job - she knows how to sharpen her teeth. She had to bite the man coz her dog was reluctant to do it. My biting lawyer makes it to the fence in 3 seconds - and you??

and many other but hard to translate as too idiomatic.

My own one - PiS have a zgryz with the lady. :):)

Life / Best Polish actor/actress ever? [35]

I simply thought his performance as the stray hitchhiker in "Noz w wodzie" was superb, so plain and unaffected!

Yes, he was already an experienced actor then. His partners - on the contrary. Did you know that Malanowicz`s wooden voice was replaced by Polański`s? And the female role was played by a purely amateur girl whom Polański had met at the swimming pool?

These are some of the reasons I never liked the film and still don`t know why some people get so excited about it.
