The message of his discourse in several texts is plain - Dmowski, regardless of the political system in Russia - whether tsarist or democratic or Soviet - was always trying to reach an agreement with Russians and become partners.

I am referring to the ones which I read in this book seen below. His friendly attitude to Russia (though undermined with the complex of superiority towards Russian lower culture) is scattered throughout his publications over decades.

In the text from 1931 entitled Post War World and Poland, in its subchapter entitled Russia - Cleaning the Ground Dmowski suggests Russia is going to be the major player and Poles should forget their past grievances and reconsider Russia as a partner, bigger than false West or dominating Germany. Poland should NOT get involved in any hostile action of the West against Russia.

The second photo shows an excerpt on page 301.

In all his texts Dmowski shows his obsessive fear and hatred of Germany, treating Russia as a much smaller problem or even a potential partner for Poland. His naive beliefs were shattered in 1939 when Stalin`s Russia attacked Poland with Germans.

Today, naive ideas about Russia as a partner in the crusade against the West are cherished by contemporary rightwingers and nationalists, including PiS.

Yes, I know emigrant Poles are only focused on that LGBT. Let it be.

But you should realise that Poles have always copied the Western ways since we are Western Slavs. Western European style will prevail here naturally, whether you support or oppose it. Nobody can stop that. That is why spoiling democracy and damaging Polish unity in order to save us from Western ways of life which PiS has been always trying to do is useless and stupid coz they aren`t able to prevent a natural course of events.

E.g., did PiS` 500+ plus help to bring back higher fertility? No, eventually the figures have dropped to previous levels. That is the proof they can`t control certain processes coz they have no such power over them. PiS doesn`t understand it and is trying to turn back the tide in Vistula River, that is why we can call them idiots and as such treat as harmful to Poland.

Many emigrant Poles think like that. They cherish their dear illusions about Poland from old times and dream of keeping the things as they were. They imagine PiS and rightists are the best option for Poland as they vow to conserve old ways. It doesn`t matter the economy falters, it doesn`t matter that Poland might leave the EU and again be subjugated by Russia, it doesn`t matter that PiS- provoked animosities and hostilities tear this nation apart, it doesn`t matter that democratic principles are broken - what matters is that Poland must remain on the right path. All other options are out of question.
